Cyrus by MJ Fields

Cyrus is a little harsher than Jase but the man does things out of love he just doesn't know how to show that love properly, "I paid for half an hour with you. I don't expect s*** from you, but I do expect you to tell me if something my shop did is hurting you. If it's infected Birdie you need someone to check it out." Sometimes he's a man that's all bark and does it for good reason and has Tara's best interests at heart, "I couldn't let go, I wouldn't," No Birdie, you cry damn it. Just effing cry." Cyrus isn't a man with romance in his body he's more for bluntness and showness, "I think you're effing gorgeous, so I'm gonna work on not wanting to bang you, and you're gonna work on ugly alright?" I liked Cyrus just not as much as Jase.

First Glance by Laura Hunter

I loved Killian!!! He's cocky, "I don't normally. You've brought out all my best qualities, sweetheart." He talks like he owns the room (which to me that sexy beast does) "she didn't call me, she cam around to the cafe, but didn't end up ordering anything. She wanted to talk to me, about you. She invited me to her wedding, which I thought was peculiar, her being a stranger and all. I mean, you don't go inviting strangers to your wedding." When I say cocky I mean really cocky, "do you want me to ask you?" I realize I'm standing really close to him, less than a foot in proximity. He raises his eyebrow, waiting for me to give my answer." And he knows how to show a  girl he's interested, "our lips meet again and we fall backward on the bed. Oh yes, he wants me alright." Although short I liked this story

Chasing Cassie by Lorna Jean Roberts

Oh Jay sometimes you really turn me on, "don't ever run from me, Cassie. I like to chase, but you might not like what happens when I catch you." Sometimes Jay has to soothe Cassie's thoughts on certain things, "shh," he kissed her gently, 'arousal is not something to ever be embarrassed about. And no one was laughing about you or talking about you. If they had been, I would've kicked their a**." Sometimes men like things a certain way and Cassie gets confused as to what in the hell Jay is talking about, "you deserve a spanking for this." His gaze caught by the curls between her thighs. Was he upset because she had pubic hair? Had he expected her to shave herself clean for him?" I liked this book but not as much as the first one in the series.

Loving Laney by Lorna Jean Roberts

Cooper is all sorts of bada**, "well, now, sweet, I don't really want it. What I do want is for you to look me in the eyes, and I'm not going to move til' you do." He's cocky, "don't bother trying to lie to me, sweet. One, you're no good at it, and two, we both know that no self-respecting male werewolf would let you work in that dump." He's gentlemany when he wants to be, "well, everyone else's loss was his gain. But he would have to change his game plan. She deserved more than a 'wham, bam, thank you, ma'am.' He wasn't a gentle man, didn't know how to be gentle. But he would try for her, because there was no way he was walking away from her now." Sometimes Laney thinks she's killed the mood but leave it to Cooper to soothe her feelings, "sweet, you've seen my erection, I think it speaks for itself." Cooper he's a man that doesn't really need the foreplay, "sweet, I'm a man. One look at you and I'm good to go. Nibbling is all good, but right now I'm begging you to go to the main course."

Slow Ride Home by Leah Braemel

Allie even after all these years that girl is still sweet on Ben, "holy crap Butch's cooking wasn't the only thing she wanted to sink her teeth into - Ben's a**, so wonderfully outlined by his chaps, just begged to be bitten." He's so bossy as well, "hold this" was the only warning she got before he hoisted her into the truck bed." He's considerate, "I don't want you to think all I want from you is a quickie up against a tree or in the back of my truck or...that I'm only interested in you for sex." And he's real open about his feelings, "there's plenty of time, but you make me shoot off my load now and the fun'd done for a while." I loved Ben and I loved this story there was also a mystery to be solved so we not only got romance but a mystery.

To Trust a Wolf by Kate Steele

I applaud Logan for not jumping Bryn's bones the first date even though a certain body part wasn't happy, "his co** was not  a happy camper, taking on a life of it's own, twitching with agitation at being roused only to be denied the prize." Logan he can make a woman melt with his words, "there's nothing obscene about it, Bryn. The truly obscene thing would be to deny your needs, to deny your pleasure. I can be there in fifteen minutes, baby," he cajoled. "There's nothing I want more than to see to your pleasure." He's also a caring man, "you're not going to cry are you, baby?" His soothing tone washed over her. "Tell me you're all right or I'm coming over there right now. I don't want you upset." He's a possessive thing as well, "my mate," he growled, harshly, possessively. "Mine." Biting down on her shoulder, he thrust."

Rock the Beat by Michelle Valentine

Loved me some Trip, "I eye her daisy-duke covered a** appreciatively while her head's turned. If she catches me eye-effing her, she'll smack the s*** out of me, but it's worth the risk." He's not bashful when it comes to his body and I love that in a man, "you want my help or not?" When I don't answer right away, he drums his fingers on the counter. "I'm waiting... I can stand here like this all day. I have no problem showing off what God blesses me with, and when I say blesses, well you know. You've seen it." And he's so cocky also another big trait I love in a man, "believe me, sweetness, you're inexperienced until you've been with me. If I effed you, I'd take you to a whole other level." I hope a novella comes out with Trip and Holly.

Four Weddings and a Werewolf by Kristin Miller

This book had so much humor in it and Logan boy, oh boy did I love him. I mean the boy is always primed and ready to go, "I wouldn't say that." Judging from the massive tent pitching his pants, the mood hadn't changed at all."  I loved being in his mind, "if there was a stable woman in his life, what would he do when he came home from work? "Honey, I'm home! Work was great. I slammed Butch's face against a dumpster behind Cosmo's and finished the hit once I dragged him into the bed of my truck. Don't worry, I'll scrub the bloodstains out later. What's for dinner?" Sometimes the wolf in him becomes possessive and I don't think he knows how to handle those kind of feelings yet, "Veronica," he said through clenched teeth. He went rigid, his thrusts shorter and tighter. "I want you. Longer than one more night..." Sometimes Logan has to explain the way of werewolves, "I can't. The wolf can smell you on me. He knows what just happened and he's challenging me for you. If I leave, it means I admit that he's the stronger wolf, and he's won." I liked this story it was cute and funny.

Blue Lines by Toni Aleo

Loads of love/hate going on with Erik, love that he's confident and cocky, "sweetheart, I'm not cocky," he said, winking, "I'm confident. I know you want me." Hate that he can't see Piper's side of things, "excuse me? I did try calling you, but some effing ho always answered the phone. At least I finally came by and told you. I could have just kept it from you altogether. Maybe I should have." And Piper she isn't afraid to voice her opinion on what she needs and what she might expect from her hubby, "I have like twenty extra pounds on me, your car is low, and it's hard for me to get out. The least you can do it help me, but no, thank God for the valet; at least he's a gentleman, paid or not," she spat out." Erik even though he doesn't want to admit it's happening he's falling for Piper, "it's a horrible plan. She is my baby's mother. She is off-limits to everyone," Erik spat out." At least he's considerate about money and who pays for what, "I'd think by now, you would know that when you're with me, you pay for nothing. That's how I roll." I really wished I had read the other books in this series.

Definitely, Maybe in Love by Ophelia London

Spring she's not one to beat around the bush, "just so you know, referring to someone who loves the planet as a tree-hugger is just about the lamest thing I've ever heard. This isn't nineteen-eighty." Henry I did like him he needed to grow on me but he isn't one to miss a thing, "you did." He slid his hands into his pockets, his posture easing. "You were with two other women on the street, you stopped in front of my driveway and gave my Viper the finger. I watched the whole thing out the window." Henry he's kind of a blunt guy as well, "oh, yeah, umm." Henry pulled himself forward, fingering his chin. "Let's see. Harley-Davidsons, comic books, and..." He raised a lightning-quick smile at no one in particular. "And a certain woman who's not afraid to tell it like it is. Definitely my guilty pleasure number one at the moment." He slowly moved his eyes toward me and winked again. "Oh, and cranberries." Henry he has issues with possessiveness but I think he's just protective, "tell him to leave your house and never come back." I liked this book it reminded me a whole lot of "Pride and Prejudice" just with a modern twist.

Chance of Rain by Amber Lin

It's funny how after all those years a spark of chemistry between two people can still be there and Sawyer well that boy sure doesn't mind showing it, "he glanced, pointedly, at her ring finger. Her empty ring finger. Then his gaze slid away, but it was too late. She'd seen his interest, and - oh, hell, she was interested too." Natalie I'm proud of her for standing her ground on things, "no," she repeated, her voice tinged with bitterness. "So I'm good enough to cop a feel in the dark but not for anyone to know. Well, sorry. Not interested." Yea she really knows how to stand her ground, "I should have skipped the baked goods, I see that now. I should have spent more time on my hair or bright red lipstick. I should have come here naked." Okay, that would have been weird. "I mean, with a robe or a trench coat or something. See? I don't even know how to do this. I don't know how people do it." When Natalie is happy she seems to go on about Sawyer's erm...member, "so thick and warm. And the skin was so soft. I can still imagine it on my tongue. Did you taste yourself when you kissed me? I love the shaped of it, the size - it's perfect. Almost too big. That's the perfect size." Yea... overdoing it there Nat. I loved this book and the cover is so pretty.

Becoming Alpha by Aileen Erin

Of course I'm going to read the book if it has a pretty cover and I'm really liking this cover! Dastien I loved him at first he had to grow on me but once he did you couldn't shake him off, "I guess. Thing is I can't concentrate on the conversation right now because all I'm thinking about is kissing you-" I'm the boy is good looking, "I watching Dastien run toward the course with equal parts raw power and grace. He was wearing a pair of running shorts and nothing else." Tessa I loved her she doesn't take crap from anybody, not the school she's sent to, not her parent, and especially not Dastien, "well guess what. Chris is a friend. A very new, very fun friend." My blood boiled. "New flash: I haven't done anything wrong. You have no right to drag me out here and yell at me. Hello? You bit me. Now, I'm here struggling to keep my head above water. So you need to get your s*** together." Dastien he really doesn't share well, "Dastien's eyes flashed to gold. "She'll be mine." He's also one to worry about Tessa, "you smell...confused...annoyed...I don't know but I don't like it." I'm ready for the next book in the series!

Throb by Brooke Jaxsen

Jason he's really thoughtful, "yeah, I know. I saw these at CVS, they're flats for after dancing and stuff, and I thought you might want some relief so I go them for you." The boy is always horny and Becca well that girl might be a tad bit naughty, "although I knew it was wicked of me, I slipped my hand over his pants and felt what I knew by now to expect: that his member was hard, so hard I could feel it through the thick denim of his designed jeans." Jason he's always taking care of Becca and I find it really really sweet, "looks like I forgot to take care of something." And he's very good at dishing out punishments, "I'll sentence you to the most terrible punishment of all," he growled into my ear. "You have to clean every inch of my body." I liked this book and I'm ready for the next one.

The Mane Event by Shelly Laurenston

Christmas Pride

Mace I loved him and his sense of humor, "baby, I can't wait that lone. Let's go bang this out in my sister's office. You know. To take the edge off." Mace he doesn't like other men touching his gal, "I'm sensing that know on your forehead was not enough of a clue to keep your grubby dog paws off my woman." Sometimes a man just doesn't want to get interrupted during the good stuff, "throat clearing. He kept hearing someone clearing their throat. Who the eff would dare try to get his attention when he had the most divine tongue in his mouth? He gripped Dez tighter, and she tangled her fingers in his hair." There is so much chemistry between these two:
He fingers dug into the wood. "Is this really the time for you to get horny?"
"Sorry, shifting does that to me. Shifting and you."
Mace he's all cat and it's cute, "you love my roar." Dammit! he was purring again. Right up against her ear. Suddenly, she couldn't get out of her clothes fast enough."

Shaw's Tail

Oh Brendan I loved your cat ways even if you were kind of out of your mind for a few days there, "her hand stroked his cheek and he briefly closed his eyes, nuzzling her hand and purring." Yep out of his mind when the fever hits, "you have the cutest a**," he sighed out. Gold eyes looked up to see her. She had no idea is the fever gave him that hungry look or her butt. "I could spend hours playing with that a**." Yeppers totally cray cray but that's why I fell in love with him, "God, your breasts are beautiful," he rasped. "Can I play with them for a little while?" He planted a small kiss against the side of her lace-covered nipple."

BLOG TOUR REVIEW: Emblazed by Nikki Narvaez

Oh my Jace I've missed your fine sexy a**, and you haven't changed one bit, well you may have gotten a little sexier, "everyone rushed out after me, asking questions and yelling all at once. I bellowed over everyone, "Stop! All of you, shut the eff up!" In this book we see a little more temper than usual but under the circumstances I don't mind the little temper tantrums, "I grabbed the lamp and threw it against the wall, where it shattered on impact. I was going to slaughter Hades for hurting my Brielle." Oh yea maybe, we see more than a 'little' temper in this book, "Brielle's words replayed over and over in my mind, fueling my all-consuming rage. I was going to kill that mothereffer for even touching Brielle." Even after all the time they've been apart he still puts her needs before his, "you need to eat first. Once I get you under me, I don't plan on letting you out of this bed for a long time. Plus, knowing you, you'll probably want to take a shower first anyway." Jace knows how to show his woman gratitude and how much he's missed her (winks) "eff, baby, I missed you. Missed being inside you," Jace groaned." The ending wasn't to terrible I liked that fact that they were together but there was a cliffhanger which means their story isn't finished yet.

Wolf With Benefits by Shelly Laurenston

Ricky he's cocky, "with an annoying amount of calm, he sipped his drink and remarked, "Darlin', at this point, I'm starting to think you're sweet on me." He loves Toni's curls, "I'm not. I like the curls. If we have sex, can I play with them." Ricky and Toni seem to hit it off right away and I think it's because Ricky is always amused when Toni is around, "I'm not exactly sure," he said, not making the least bit of sense. "But I swear, entertainment seems to follow you around, like a puppy after it's momma. So I am along for the ride, darlin'." Toni, that girl gets in some situations and the reactions that Ricky has tend to shock her, "Toni gasped and glowered down at the big bas****. "Are you hard?" she demanded, feeling something like lead pipe against her thigh." Ricky he has so much humor, "would it kill you to give me five minutes of your time after all that Chinese food I bought you yesterday. " I really am liking this author and can't wait to read more.

The Mane Attraction by Shelly Laurenston

Doesn't anyone else think that the guy on the cover looks like Ian Somerhalder?" I couldn't get enough of Mitch, "yes, I'm staring at your ass," he told her as plainly as she'd asked, "but I can't help it. It keeps talking to me." Sometimes when you're hammered you can't help what comes out of your mouth and what comes out of Sissy's mouth is a whole sort of amusing, "you have the best a**, Mitchell Shaw." Sissy is a caring person at heart, "she's never seen him so weak before. So...fragile. That simply wouldn't do. Not for her feline." Mitch he starts to have feelings for Sissy and he doesn't like the opposite sex around her, "and I didn't like him talking to you. I didn't want him looking at you. Basically, I hated him on sight." Sissy she's blunt, she doesn't beat around the bush, "you know what I want, Mitchell?" And before he could answer, "to get laid. Preferably by you. If I weren't sure, we wouldn't be here. I wouldn't be on your lap with a wet, unfulfilled pu**y, and you wouldn't have a healthy length of lead pipe in your pants. So stop being a tease, get your pants off, and give it up before I get testy." When they're together they're like fireworks waiting to go off with all the chemistry they have:
Do you think I'm happy about this?" she demanded, getting to her feet. "And this is your fault. Yours!"
Mitch stood. "How is this my fault? I'm not the one with the pu**y that drains the life from a man!"
"And I'm not the one hung like and overendowed donkey!"
Yep loads of chemistry. I'm really liking this author's writing.

Here Kitty, Kitty by Shelly Laurenston

I freakin' LOVED Nik! "ya'll can slam into me any time." At least she could. He could care less about the midget." I love how he talks, "sssh, darlin'. Big boys talkin'." Angelina does things to our boy Nik, "true, her twenty grand worth of clothes were in the back of his pick-up, but he really needed a moment to, er, compose himself." sometimes the way he talks it's as if he's wooing her, "and, sugar, if you're gonna sit out on that balcony at night, half-naked, smellin' so sweet and sighing like you had the best eff of your life, then you might as well put a leash around my neck and call me yours." Sometimes Nik can't help how his body reacts even if it's at the wrong time, "of course, his di** decided at that moment to stand up and say 'hey, ya'll'." He doesn't like sharing what's his, "yes. We need to make some things clear. I don't share what's mine. So you have no worries about my brothers. Ever." I really loved this book and I hope Ban or Alek get the next one.

Winter Kisses by Addison Moore

Addison seems to be getting some AMAZEBALLS covers for her books they like drag your a** in to read the book. Ryder being inside his mind was a damn joy, "my heart jumps into my throat. My d*** ticks in my boxes because, holy hell, there's a tiny ray of hope that suggests he might get attention from the real deal tonight, but I think we both know that's a pipe dream." He's bossy, "get in my bed," he growls it out sharp like an order." I liked this book but I wish it had been full length and I had wished that Ryder and Laney had talked more about their issues then just you know jumping in the sack (if you get my meaning here.) Meg that bi*** got what she deserved I was like 'GO LANEY, GO LANEY!' But I'm really excited about Cole and Roxy's story!

The Arrangement 11 by H.M. Ward

Sean for once (well in the beginning I was proud of you), "after tonight, you'll be mine, and I very much hope that you'll say yes." Avery you need to grow some damn balls, "maybe you're right. Maybe more money will make it more tolerable." And Sean don't get all up in Avery's kool-aid for defending your sorry a**, "Avery, you can't yell at every person who hates me. First of all, the list is endless, and second, you can't convince them of something they don't want to hear." The ending was kind of shocking....

Finding Faith by Tabatha Vargo

Oh Zekey you have some competition with dear ole' Finn, "opposites attract. Don't you find me attractive?" Oh Finn that's like asking if a bear s***s in the woods. He's protective, "because I'd kill anyone who tried to take you away... either that or I'd die fighting for you. No one will ever take you away from me - ever." I liked that they had a past, and I liked that Finn showed Faith that there's more to life than what her daddy says. Finn once he makes up his mind you can't beat it out of him with a rock, "no. Because once I buy a house, ya'll are coming home with me." I'm hoping that there's a novella that will come out with more of Faith and Finn's story.

Ride by JC Emery

The book to me had a slow start but as it picked up I began to enjoy it more. Ryan he has protector written all over his face, even if he doesn't want to admit it out loud, "fine. You don't have to talk," he says. "But get this, you scream, I'm gonna have a .38 out and ready to shoot. Unless you want any accidents, keep quiet." He's a jealous type especially when he wants Alex all for himself, even though he doesn't want to admit that out loud either, "I said," he repeats, moving closer. "Are you effing him?" He's cocky, "my lips turn up into a smile at her appreciation of my d*** and his skills. He is pretty effing impressive, if I do say so myself." The ending to me felt a little rushed, but maybe there's going to be a second book to this one who knows.

Camouflaged by Selena Laurence

Gabe he's just so cocky, "oh, sweetheart, you don't know me too well. Ask around. You'll find there's a whole lot of things I can do that would interest you. Things that would help you relax." I liked being in his mind, "oh yeah, I thought as I strode out of the tent. We had a lot of unfinished business, and I was just the entrepreneur to handle the transaction." Alexis she's feisty, "do you ever stop?" she asked, her voice rising. "Do you ever stop and think about the other person in the equation? You could be doing all sorts of damage and not have any idea, because you're so focused on 'winning' that you don't care about the collateral damage." Gabe is also a snarky S.O.B, "I looked down at her for a split second. "Thanks for your concern, but I promise not to get killed so I can give you a ride home." I really hope Selena decides to do a full length novel with Gabe and Alexis like when he comes home from war, I mean I know this was a novella but I wanted more.

Protect Me by Jennifer Culbreth

Ryan he's compassionate and I liked that, "her eyes read and swollen, Jesus he had actually hurt her. His guy tore in two, he had no idea why, but every fiber of him wanted to protect her and keep her from being harmed." Abbi she has balls and isn't afraid to speak her mind, "you know, I am with a date tonight and he is really nice. He compliments me, wants to spend time with me, and be seen in public with me. You haven't done any of those things tonight Ryan." He loves his girl though, she turns him on, "a low growl escaping his lips as her teeth grazed the side of his throat. "Baby, as much as I would love to stay here and make love to you seven ways till Sunday. I have to go in this morning." He's also the type of man who doesn't mind a little shopping now when you find one of those you keep them, "well, what kind of shopping did you want to do? Clothes, paintings, home goods. You name it and we are there." I liked this book and can't wait for Jace's story.

Knights' Sinner by Bella Jewel

Jackson I loved him just as much as Cade and Spike, "it ain't every day a man gets a nice view like that to come home to. Don't you worry about it, made my effin' day." Sometimes Jackson has to teach Serenity a few things, "you kiss a man, you do it effin' properly." There are times Jackson has to assure Serenity some things and keep her calm, "you women, ain't nothin' to be ashamed about. You had one crappy sexual experience, that was years ago, so basically that was like your first time. It's normal. Men are allowed to help. Stop arguing and let me." Serenity she gets curious and Jackson well whose he to argue, "eff her. Damn curious woman. I grind my jaw. Eff, it's been a long time since I've had a woman wank me. It's usually something I don't accept, hell I can do it myself." I can't wait for Muff's little novella.

Getting Rowdy by Lori Foster

Avery I loved her even though she doesn't want to admit it in the beginning I think she does have feelings for Rowdy, "I know you have," she said, a little too loud and way too fast. Her rusty laugh wouldn't convince anyone. "And if not me, then someone else, right?" Anyone else. Way to make her feel special." Rowdy at times I think he's an a** a very hot a** but an a**, "sorry, honey, but I don't need an excuse." Oh-so-gently, he smoothed back a curl that had escaped her ponytail. "I'm a grown man, it's my bar and I wasn't expecting anyone to show up early, especially not you." Even when he's hurt he's horny, "unless you get frisky and go for more." He leaned down and nuzzled her ear. "I'm in a weakened state. You could totally take advantage of me." I really did enjoy reading this book, it's the first book I've read by Lori and it won't be the last.

Sweet Home by Tillie Cole

Romeo oh Romeo where art thou Romeo (did I say it right?) Romeo I loved him right off and his alpha maleness, "I don't give a s*** what she said. Go and get a effin' drink, or pass out, or somethin'. You get me?" He's bossy but I found it hot, "sit your a** back down, Shakespeare, and have another beer with your most famously tragic character. You're not leavin' me yet." He's honest, "and get this straight...you are no one's plaything, Shakespeare. I may eff around, but I wouldn't eff around on you." He gets turned on in the most weird ways, "not threatenini', Shakespeare, commendin'. I'm findin' you and that mouth of yours a real turn-on. But I'm more interested in teachin' you how to keep it shut." He's well he's good lookin' "Rome walked towards me, dressed in only his black boxer briefs - boxer briefs that highlighted his thick muscular thighs and the fact that he was fairly excited about our newfound closeness." He cares about Molly, and would do anything for her, "I'm gettin' you new glasses and your gonna let me - you don't have a effin' choice. It's not about embarrassment; it's about protectin' what's mine." I'm hoping Ally gets a story.

Making Faces by Amy Harmon

Fern I loved her she was so innocent and loving, "I loved your notes," Fern rushed on, the words tumbling out like a dam had burst. "I know they weren't meant for me. But I loved them. You're funny. And smart. And you made me laugh. You even made me cry once. I wish they had been for me. So I was just wondering if you liked the things I wrote." Ambrose I did love him maybe not at the beginning but I grew to love him and his honesty, "no, Fern. I'm not ashamed to be seen with you. I'm ashamed to be seen," Ambrose choked." Fern she's the type of girl who likes to take care of people she has the kindest heart, "let me do that." Fern held out her hand for the razor he wielded, needing to do something to distract herself. He handed it over and sat on the counter, pulling her between his legs." Ambrose in certain situations he likes to lighten the mood and I think Fern appreciates that, "you have a tattoo, a black eye, and I just saw your bra. You are getting to be very hardcore, Fern."

Rumor Has It
Limelight #1

Expected Publication Date- November 2013

All publicity is good publicity, right? Unless you’re recent college grad Ellie Wagner and an embarrassing video of you and your boyfriend goes viral. Every man in your life abandons you, but who knew a one-minute clip of your latest doomed relationship would brand you a slut, prevent you from getting your perfect job, and force you to keep doing the one thing you swore you’d never do again…live with your mother.

But staying with mom and her latest boy-toy (is this husband number four or five?) until your life turns around might not be all bad. Especially when you fall – literally – at the feet of a sexy, green-eyed stranger who offers you freedom and a life of luxury on a gold-rimmed platter.
There’s only one liiittle problem – the man of your dreams is none other than Mason Nash, the latest hip-hop star busting up the music charts. Fame and fortune are his calling cards and he’s vying to steal the show on a new reality TV series that will catapult him into mainstream stardom. Hello spotlight.

The man behind the famous persona is perfect for Ellie in every way, but can she overcome the ugly pitfalls that come with Mason's celebrity status? Or will she be forced to choose between the man she loves and the independent life she longs for? After all, fame and fortune aren’t always what they seem and not all publicity is good publicity…

BLOG TOUR REVIEW: Seizing Fate by Heather Van Fleet

I totally agree with Emmy shopping for dresses is s***, "um...I'm totally hoping that your holy s***s are actually good holy s***s, because I'm so done with this dress thing. It's either this one," I motioned up and down my body, "or I'm going in my jeans and hoodie!" Zachary he's just not the same and well I've grown to dislike him, how he talks to Emmy, "damn Emmy...you look so sexy in that dress! Let's just skip the dance, and head some place far away where I can take it off you..." Um... gross! And then the REALLY despising started, "Jack left this morning so things will get back to normal again. At least until we have to head down there on Friday." He spat his words at me, threatening me with them... I didn't take kindly to threats, and I snapped my arm to my stomach. His fingers left a scratch from my elbows to my shoulders. The a**..."So if that's what's got your panties all up your a** today, then you need to get over it." I don't think he's a bad guy he's just I hate him and I wish his head would come out of his a**. Now Jack, my man, oh my man, LOVE HIM. And I'm glad that Emmy is FINALLY coming to her senses in some things, "he was mine. And I was his... whether he liked it or not. He tightened his hold on me, nuzzling my neck again, inhaling heavily again before he placed his warm lips upon my pulse." He's considerate this time around and if you think about him in the last book then...well he wasn't real considerate, "grr, stop...seriously, Emmy. Besides that, you deserved better than a hard, quick romp with me in some jagged cave, on a rocky floor." I FINALLY got what I wanted to happen in this book now let's see if the next thing (well two things) that I want to happen will.

Trust in Me by J. Lynn

Hands down loved reading what happens in Cam's point of view, "I almost reached for her again, but I valued my balls. One day I'd like to have a kid or some s***, and I had a feeling if I touched her again, that would not be in my future." And Ollie I seriously can't wait for his book, "Ollie glanced down at himself and grinned. No shirt. Shorts hanging low. Flip-flops. Nothing else. "You know damn well I could get more naked." Cam I loved his sense of humor, "you were all like 'I need an apple pie' and what could I do? I live to serve you." Seriously I think I loved Ollie in Cam's perspective then in Avery's, "I didn't respond as I pulled on a pair of jeans, buttoning them up and then dropping the towel. "Free balling it tonight?" Ollie grinned as he smacked his hands on the upper frame of the door. "Planning on getting laid?" His thoughts when Avery is drunk are hilarious, "don't want her? I could barely remember a time when I hadn't wanted her, for eff's sake. My co** was pushing against the zipper of my jeans, swelling to the point of almost bursting. That's how badly I wanted her." I'm really excited for Jase's book.

Soar by Alyssa Rose Ivy

Well we got to decide what team we are on Team Toby or Team Jared, me I'm not sure what team I'm on yet, I love both men equally. Toby, he's protective, "no. Stay away from her." Once again, I felt the urge to transform. I'm sure my eyes were already turning black." I have to say though in the beginning I was team Toby, Casey she keeps him grounded, "we're going to the market like normal people." Toby he's a tad bit possessive, "she's with me. Get the eff out of here." Toby strode over to Murphy with the most menacing expression I'd ever seen." Leave it to Cody to put things in perspective about the relationship between Case and Toby, "it does in your case. You were about to be mauled by a bear you were more concerned with staring at him without a shirt on." Jared there were times I was team him, but then I thought it mean to be on team Jared because of things that happened in the book, and now I'm kind of unsure what team I'm on and maybe I was a tad disappointed something happened in the book but I'm all confused about who I'm routing for now.

Room for You by Beth Ehemann

Brody he's a cool guy, I loved him right off, "not just a mom of one, but two. Kacie noticed the surprised look on my face as her eyes turned sad and darted toward the floor in embarrassment. I suddenly felt like a giant douche." He likes to make up for the embarrassment he causes Kacie (well certain embarrassments) "Kacie!" I called out in a loud whisper. By the time she turned around, I had pulled my t-shirt off and dropped my jeans down around my ankles, standing there in nothing but my boxer briefs." I knew I really loved him when he knew how important it was for Kacie to put her girls first, "Kacie, I would never, ever be upset with you for wanting to spend alone time with your kids. Ever. Go, have fun. Meet you on the pier later?" He's really considerate as well, "he chuckled in the living room before yelling back. "No, I had no idea what you used, so I bought every one they had." I really got into this story and wasn't expecting the ending of this book to be a shocker, let's just say I'm ready for book 2.

Something Wicked by Angela Campbell

With a cover like this I had to read the book, and I was not let down, Alexandra I loved her she was such an interesting character, "every time Alexandra lowered her guard, oh look, there was Rebecca Collins again, harping about her sons. Zachary this. Dylan that. Nag, nag, nag." Dylan that sly dog (winks) he had some tricks up his sleeve, "he nuzzled his mouth close to her ear. "Making sure you don't cheat. Got a problem with that?" Judging but the way she wiggled her backside against him, he didn't think so." At the worst times Alexandra's mind drifts to naughty thoughts and I found that funny, "whoa, girl. Keep your mind on the matter at hand, and not on her, er, weapon." Alexandra she's curious one always likes to sneak a peak at Dylan when not looking, "Alexandra lifted her eyebrows and smiled as she cast a slow glance over his naked parts not covered by the sheets." I really would like Reedus (think I spelled his name right) story, he was another character I fell in love with.

Running Back by Allison Parr

Mike he has his own demons but when we first meet him I thought perhaps he was caring (in certain situations that is) "he took my hand, his own large and warm. his eyes scanned mine. "You're really upset about this." He takes offense at certain times, "he scowled at me and took a long pull of his drink. "I'm charming when I want to be." He's attractive, "instead of answering, I watched water trickle down his neck, tracing down his bare, tan chest, and slipping over his well-defined abdomen." He does things to Natalie that we all know the girl likes but doesn't want to admit she likes, "he lifted my chin and kissed my jawline. His breath sent shivers down my spine. "It's a great idea." Natalie likes to keep some things of her life private, "vetoed. Too many people will know we're having sex, and that's embarrassing. Like my adviser. And your mother." I want Anna or Lauren's book next (Mike's sisters) I fell in love with them right off especially Anna who has no filter on her mouth.

Wild Child by M. Leighton

I missed Jenna she was one of the characters I fell in love with in the first book and I was so glad her and Rusty got their own little bookie, "no caving." I agree. "Unless Rusty finally drops the L bomb. If that happens, I'll be on him like stink on s***." Cami wrinkles her nose as she eyes me. "Okay, bad analogy. I'll be on him like a cheap suit. Better?" Rusty he knows how to defend his woman, "hey, we still don't know whose brainchild this was. Don't blame by girlfriend. It was probably your fiancee'. You are getting married in a couple of days after all. Maybe there's some kind of ancient superstition that Cami read about." He knows how to turn a woman's brain to mush, "because I know you baby. I know you put them on with thoughts of me taking them off. I know, even now, you're wishing that I'd take you upstairs and pull them slowly down your legs so that I could...do things to you." He puts his foot down on certain situations, "no offense, Cami, but it's not a request. I'm staying. Or I'm taking her with me when I leave." I'm so ready for the next book in the series.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW: Panic by J.A. Huss

Ronin I couldn't have fallen in love with him more if I tried (or so I thought) he goes out of his way to make an event special for his gal, and you know then and there you can't help but love the man more, "a black-and-white affair for my Gidget. Because Rook, you are one batsh** insane chick if you think you can have a birthday around here and not be embarrassed with a huge-a** over-the-top production!" I mean he's also all for giving his gal a grand ole' time in the sack as well, "'make me come' - pfft. Gidget, I can make you come anytime I want. Tonight you're not gonna just come, babe. I'm gonna blow your effing mind." And I thought this Clare biatch was going to be an issue nope, Ronin knows how to put her in her place as well, "see, that's pretty much what I have to talk about. This animosity you have for Rook has to stop. I love this girl, Clare. I'm not breaking up with her, she's not breaking up with me, we're gonna get married and live all that happily-ever-after bulls***. Because she's the one. You need to stop talking s*** about her." I seriously hope Ford gets a book I would love to see more of his character.

Switched by Cassie Mae

I loved this book at first I wasn't sure which boy to root for Talon he has good qualities he can be manly, "Kayla's going too. Sorry, but not all of us have half the energy you do at two in the morning." Talon he's gentlemanly, "thanks for eating that s***." He points to the bag of cookies. "Raegan would've spit it that all over the floor, and I know you made my mom's day. As pansy-a** as it sounds it means a lot." He doesn't like certain aspects of his life on display for everyone, "not in front of our friends! Damn it, do you even get how embarrassing that is? I don't want them to know about our sex life." Then there's Wesley who after a few chapters swept my heart and I was all Team Wesley, "that's my woman!" he says, yanking off his bright green polo, leaving him standing in a white tank and khakis. "I knew she'd have dinner ready for me when I got here. People kept telling me she was a real lazy a**, but she proved 'em all wrong." Kayla and Wesley I thought had more chemistry than Raegan and Talon. "I wouldn't slept better if someone hadn't been trying to grab my boob all night. I know I'm hard to resist, but we don't want another wet morning do we?"

Crave by Monica Murphy

Archer I love you, "no wonder I avoid her. Within a few minutes of being near her, I'm sporting wood and plotting how I can get her out of here so I can strip her naked and have my way with her. All night long." Ivy's shock to Archer's endowments had me amused, "isn't that all you want from anyone?" He gaze locks on my chest and she exhales loudly. "I knew you were bigger than the last time I saw you, Archer, but oh my God." And Archer can be considerate when he wants something really badly, "so your growling stomach lied? I ordered all of your favorite foods." He likes to tease her as well, "of course. You know this." Pausing I contemplate her. "Buy you don't have to pay me for the orgasms, you know. I'll handle that task for free. Gladly." I can't wait to see what bad boy is up next in the series.

A Risk Worth Taking by Heather Hildenbrand

Oh Ford you naughty, naughty boy, "she's stared at me at dinner last night like I'd been the meal. I wouldn't have minded crawling right up onto the table like a buffet, either." And he's the type of man that appreciates a woman's efforts to impress them, "very true," he agreed. "It just means we'll have to change our mode of transportation, because you are most definitely not taking that dress off. Well, not yet," he added with a wink." He knows how to bring a gal to her knees "I ca promise my aim's better when it comes to other things," he said into my ear." At times Ford can be animalistic toward Summer, "small droplets of perspiration left a trail down the back of her exposed neck. The sight of it was enough to make me hard, I had the sudden urge to pull her in and lick a trail down her shoulder." At times they both were animalistic toward each other, "she squeezed her thighs together, letting me know she wanted more. The very defined bulge trapped behind my zipper was evidence of my agreement." I'm hoping Casey gets a novel as well I loved him to.

RELEASE DAY BLITZ/REVIEW: The Temptation of Lila and Ethan by Jessica Sorensen

When reading Ella and Micha's story I have to say I was more interested in Lila and Ethan. Ethan to me is the male version of a girl that you can't help but love, he PMS's, "god, you're snippy today," he remarks with humor in his tone. "And I don't think I want to deal with it today. I'm too effing tired from the woman I screwed last night. She really wore me out. Plus, I have to be to work later today." He's caring, "what? Did you seriously think I was just going to let you go?" he asks, arching his eyebrow. "After what happened last night?" He's a total guy, "I smell like a man," he says, grinning at himself. He leans in, getting his chest closer to my face so I can get a whiff of his man scent." You could totally come rub up against me I really wouldn't mind Ethan. He's protective, "why the hell did you go there? You should stay away from them.Your parents are effing douche bags." He pauses, assessing me like he's afraid they physically broke me or something. "Are you okay?" I really do love me some Ethan and that's why I loved this book.

Beautiful Oblivion by Addison Moore

Love the cover, and love Addison so of course I was going to read the damn book! I just wished there would have been maybe a prologue so we could see how Ace and Reese know each other because when I started reading the book it jumped right into action which I normally like but I was a tad bit confused on how they knew each other and what they are to each other so a little background info would have been really nice. Ace though I did love him and right off you could tell that he had feelings for Reese who was well oblivion to them. I love his teasing manner, "Ace jumps to his feet and starts tugging down his shorts, exposing a glowing line of skin highlighted low around his waist. "You'd better spin around, or you're about to see another foot long." I loved his reactions to Reese, "I turn back in time to catch her slipping out of her shorts, and my di** wags like a tail. And to think I almost missed the show." Reese I like how she's not going to change anything on her body for a boy and ladies I mean ANYTHING, "oh really," I say it curt. "Do you think he's going to shave his fun zone using the same brand of logic? I think not. It's totally sexist to suggest I lose the bush. By the way, nary a sharpened blade will get near my sweet spot." Ace he enjoys what Reese does to him, "she pulls the string to my board shorts and unties the front. Her fingers comb out the laces, and before I know it she's excavated my hard-on, and lands it between us. It does look like a pet, on big oversized hairy beast." That is good to know Ace that you're endowed women appreciate that information.

Jake Undone by Penelope Ward

Jake I loved his sense of humor although perverted at times, "I like you. You're an easy target. It's gonna be fun to have you around. By the way, I really am an engineer. My cubicle mate Raj gets pretty pi**ed when  I try to take off my clothes and give him a lap dance, so I stopped stripping a long time ago." He's chivalrous at times, "then, he reached into his pocket and handed me...a pair of underwear. "I found these on the bathroom floor...thought you might want them back." He knows how to get even when someone snoops through his stuff, "your underwear drawer might get rearranged this week. That's all I'm sayin'" He's considerate, "he was still shirtless and wearing a pair of navy sweatpants that hung low displaying the top of his gray boxer briefs. He sat up straighter. "How was you pee?" What I didn't like was the secret he kept and I never really got an answer to a question that I wanted answered.

Off Chance by Sawyer Bennett

I didn't like this one as well as the others, I'm not sure why I just didn't think Flynn was bad boy enough. I mean he's all man, "she doesn't respond and I lean up against the bathroom door, shamelessly ogling while I can. "Are you look at my a**?" I mean he does get my blood going, "eff," he hisses. "If you keep looking at me like that, I won't be responsible for the way you walk tomorrow." And I loved being inside his head, "that's my girl. Keeping busy...earning her keep. I grin inside thinking her bent over my bathtub, and immediately start getting a boner." And he acts all man, "I pull on a pair of sweatpants and head toward the bathroom so I can take the monster of all pi**es. My bladder feels like it's going to explode." But I just don't think he was bad a** enough.

The Four Horsemen by Tara Brown

There are a couple authors who I always read their books when they come out and Tara Brown is one of them. Even in this installment I'm still Team Wyatt of course I do like the competitions Constantine and him have, "Wyatt shakes his head and looks inside my shirt, "There are two marks though." He lifts my shirt, earning a growl from Constantine." And I have to give props to Wyatt for having balls, "I just thought, why not? You can't touch me and I can't touch you, not without you being very sick. So why not?"  He steps a little closer across the tiles, smiling down on me. "Why not just take a good," he steps closer, "hard," and closer, "look at what we can't have." And he's possessive and protective, "yeah, but not every dud is gonna be able to see my wife's boobs." Yep can't wait to see where the next book leads us.

Excerpt:

I slipped back into the shadows. If they knew I watched them, I wouldn’t be allowed to come back and then all my plans would be for nothing. Downing the rest of my drink, I crushed the cup in my hand before tossing it over my shoulder as I headed out. There wasn’t anything else I’d find out tonight; they were all too sloshed or tight lipped to do me any good. Damn parties anyway; I hated them, but it was the only way to scout out all the players and hopefully discover what I knew, deep down, happened to my best friend. Their secrets were the only thing that could crush them and bring justice to Christie’s death.
Thinking back to how she spent her last year of life infuriated me. As seniors in high school we were supposed to have fun, live life, plan for our future, but all of those plans changed when she met Steve. Slowly, day by day, he fed her a world of lies and deception until there was no turning back. Now, a year later, I was still trying to prove her death wasn’t an accident, and that Steve was to blame. I owed it to her. Before all the lies and all the drugs, she was my closest friend. There was a time I even thought we might be more, but that wasn’t in her plans; she wanted someone different, someone who wasn’t me. I’d like to think the drugs made her stay with Steve, but the more I learned about him, the more I knew drugs weren’t the only thing that kept her from me.
I fished around in my pocket for my keys . The room spun, and I had to close my eyes to stay standing. My heart raced. What was wrong? I took another step but lost all balance and stumbled out the door.
I pulled my phone out, squinting as I tried to focus enough to dial out. I held it to my ear and waited. “Dad,” I said when he answered. “Something’s wrong. I need a ride.” My voice sounded miles away and fuzzy. Silently, I prayed he would understand as I rattled off what I hoped was the correct address. I couldn’t even remember what house I was at anymore. He said he’d be there soon so I hung up the phone and  sat down in the yard to wait.
My parents were like everyone else and thought I was just in denial over Christie’s death, and that I wanted someone to blame. Damn right I wanted someone to blame.
Ugh, my head hurt so bad that all I wanted to do was lay down. The grass was cool and begged to be used for a pillow. It took only seconds before the world darkened, and life as I knew it changed.

About the Author

M.R. Polish was born in Idaho, a long, long, long, maybe not that long time ago.... Writing has always been there for her. Growing up, her mind was filled with stories, some she shared and others she filed away to write down later in life. It wasn't until 2011 that she decided to publish her stories for everyone to enjoy. Her first award and when writing became more than just an idea was in the 5th grade. She won the scary story contest for the school newspaper. It is one story she still has tucked away for memories. Her teacher told her she could be anything she wanted and that she had a talant for writing, being creative and drawing people into her stories. M.R. took that to heart and continued to write, although mostly in secret until recent years.
Now you can find her enjoying life with her family - wrangling her four kids, setting traps in the house with toys for unsuspecting victims (aka, her husband) and writing down all her crazy and fun stories.
"Life is too short to stand by and watch everyone else live your dreams. The bigger the dream, the bigger the adventure!" ~ M.R. Polish
