Comeback Cowboy by Sara Richardson

Lucas is very appreciative of his lady's assets, "...the front door banged open. Naomi’s backside came through the door first, her body bent as she dragged something onto the porch. God almighty, the woman made jeans look hotter than a high-end teddy." Lucas is not a bashful man, “my god, I love that dress on you,” Lucas murmured, leaning in closer. “What’re you wearing underneath it?” I liked this book, Lucas was such a good man.

Train Wreck by Elise Faber

Derek is a man that appreciates his woman's assets, "...the action lifted the hem of her dress and drew Derek’s gaze down. For eff’s sake. The woman had a spectacular *** ." Sometimes Derek just needs to touch his woman, “I’m going to kiss you now.” One hand cupped her jaw, angling her head. “We’ll talk later.” I liked this book, Pepper was seriously a klutz but she was adorable.

Nip it in the Bud by Shyla Colt

Drew's mama brought him up proper, “one thing you should get used to with me is being treated like the queen you are.” I really liked this book, Drew was so sweet, and he cared deeply for Willow and his little girls.

Semper Fi Cowboy by Heather Long

Tanner can be one arrogant man, “oh, I know you’re busy , because you’re going to have dinner with me, Jules. ” Then he stretched his arm out to brace it against her seat. “You can tell me all about what a terrible son I am. I’ll still buy you a nice steak dinner.” I really loved this book, Tanner was quite the cowboy.

Steal by Rachel Van Dyken

Will sometimes has a hard time making sense of himself, “sorry.” My voice was gruff. “It’s not you. Well, it is you, but not for the reasons you’re thinking.” I groaned. “****, this isn’t coming out right. What I mean is… I’m not angry at you.” Yeah that sounded so much better, Will." There are times Will needs to placate his woman:
I groaned against Will’s back, “Tell me he didn’t see me naked.”
         “He… didn’t see you naked.”
         “Are you lying?”
         “Absolutely.”
I loved this book, Ang and Will really did need each other even though their stubborn ***es couldn't see it. I love Rachel's writing it flow flawlessly and the words are so heartfelt.

REVIEW:
It was nice seeing Richard in a different surrounding, and how much he's changed, well there is one aspect of the man that will probably never change and that's his stubbornness, "nope. I paid a lot of money for this private room. I’ll go home when you do.” I thought this was a cute novella, I loved seeing Richard and Katy again.

Excerpt

I slipped out of bed and padded across the hall, stopping in the doorway. My chest tightened at the sight before me.

Richard, tall, broad, and bare chested, cradling his daughter close, and dancing with her. She was tucked high on his chest, with his cheek resting on her head. Her tiny hand was encased inside his, and he held her protectively. No doubt his humming was soothing to her, rumbling through his chest and lulling her into peace.

Tears filled my eyes watching them. The cold-hearted man I first knew was gone and replaced by this protector who would do anything to care for his child. To care for me.

REVIEW:
Richard obviously does not like being questioned, "...I slammed my hand on the counter. “Stop arguing with me, Katharine. We’re having dinner, and you’re going to eat. Then we’ll talk.” Richard is sometimes caught off guard by what his woman asks for, “can I buy a waffle iron? I always wanted a waffle iron.” I blinked. She wanted a effing waffle iron? That was what she wanted?" I absolutely enjoyed this book, I loved seeing Richard go through the change of actually becoming a human being, and seeing katy grow a backbone and come ino her own person.

Fierce Obsessions by Suzanne Wright

Tao is not one for subtlety, “hey, baby.” Tao slid in the booth beside her. “I was driving by and saw you in the window.” Taking a sip of Riley’s coffee, he flicked a glance at Lucy. “Everything okay here?” Tao doesn't want his girl getting out of bed before he gets a morning kiss, "gently tangling a hand in her hair, he pulled her down and kissed her. “Now you can go.” Tao gets turned on at inopportune times, "...I can’t deny it was pretty hot when you grabbed her by the throat. Part of me wanted to bend you over right then and eff you raw.” I loved this book, this author is one of my always read authors.

Luca by Sarah Castille

Luca sometimes just needs some lovin' from his woman, "Luca chuckled, cutting her off. “Get over here then, woman, and give your man a kiss.” Luca is alpha and macho and doesn't really like when his woman shows him up, “you should have stayed in the car. I didn’t need to be saved.” He turned onto the 95 and headed south, out of the city." I loved this book, Luca is super alpha protective, and he is one proud man, he'd also do anything for his woman.

The Bet by Elizabeth Hayley

I loved Aly girl had some lady balls on her, she wasn't bashful, and it was like no topic was off limits, “it’s Twenty Questions. The rules are whatever we say they are.” Jace opened his mouth to reply, but she cut him off. “Never mind. I’ll ask a different question.” She sat and thought for a minute. “How many girls have you had intercourse with?” Jace is a man just full of logic, “why would I want to see a bunch of strange girls take their clothes off when I can get a private show from you?” Jace is an honest man, "Jace rubbed his hands together. “There’s no easy way to say this, so I’ll just come out with it.” He put his hands on his thighs and held her gaze. “I just threatened to beat up your boss.” I really liked this book, I loved the relationship Jace and Aly had.

The Importance of Being Scandalous by Kimberly Bell

Amelia likes to tell Nick her thoughts, "Amelia wanted to do married things with Nick. They could hide away in the woods and be naked all the time. And she told him so." Drunk Amelia means a handsy Amelia, “do you have hair everywhere? How far does it go?” She reached for the buttons on the fall, but his hands trapped hers, bringing them to his lips." I liked this book, Nick and Amelia suited each other perfectly.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW(S): Big Bad Bite Series by Jessie Lane

Title: The Demon Who Loved Me
Series: Big Bad Bite Series #4
Author: Jessie Lane
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Release: May 28, 2017

He’s a gambling man… One brunette bombshell with a devious mind and a potty mouth has thrust Kent smack dab in the middle of where he never wanted to be—his family. He’s spent most of his life avoiding his familial responsibilities, especially the one that required him to join the Ninth Circle Council—the demon society’s equivalent of judge, jury, and executioner. Then one lost bet with a little Amazon flips his entire life upside down. With worries about retaliation from the remnants of a rogue pack of wolves in Germany, he doesn’t have time to deal with his family, or his obsession with Chloe Demos. And she’s the biggest risk he’ll ever take… After her mother’s death, Chloe’s world crashes down around her. A secret Amazonian heritage. Aunts and a long lost brother she never knew about. Supernatural beings. With all of the sudden changes, she’s decided it’s time to step out from behind her façade of an air-headed, materialistic bimbo and show her sisters she truly does love them—she only hates their wardrobes. What better way to show she cares about her family than to help prove someone close to one of them is innocent of the bogus murder charges from some ridiculous council? Chloe has no scruples about calling in the marker the demon Kent owes her in order to do just that. It’s only too bad she’s underestimated Kent’s intelligence, and his playboy charm.
Jessie Lane is a best-selling author of Paranormal and Contemporary Romance, as well as, Upper YA Paranormal Romance/Fantasy.

She lives in Kentucky with her two little Rock Chicks in-the-making and her over protective alpha husband that she’s pretty sure is a latent grizzly bear shifter. She has a passionate love for reading and writing naughty romance, cliff hanging suspense, and out-of-this-world characters that demand your attention, or threaten to slap you around until you do pay attention to them.
She’s also a proud member of the Romance Writers of America (RWA).

HOSTED BY:

BIG BAD BITE:
Jenna sure is a feisty one, "shooting him a have-you-lost-your-flippin’-mind look, she retorted, “A girl can never have enough guns. Never.” Adam is a considerate man when it comes to Jenna, but at tumes the consideration is a tad bit strange, “do you need to use the facilities before we get in?” Holy man on a mountain. Had he asked her if she had to pee? What was he going to do, stand there and watch?" A good start to a series, characters that you fall in love with and excited for their stories to be told.

WALK ON THE STRIPED SIDE:
A man is supposed to love everything about his woman, the good, the bad, the freaking nasty, but not Gage, "Gage stopped rubbing his watering eyes to glare down at her. “Morning breath? Morning breath! That smelt like a chemical weapon! Are you trying to fucking kill me?” he yelled." Elena tends to overreact on some things, " a spider. His mate was trying to set a tree on fire because there was spider on it." Gage and Elena had a interesting relationship, and it made for some funny reading.

BIG BAD BITE RETURNED:
We get to come back and visit Adam and Jenna, and Adam is still crazy for his wkman as ever, “never. Killing you would defeat my master plan of effing you stupid every day.” I loved catching up with Adam and Jenna and seeing what they were up to.

THE DEMON WHO LOVED ME:
Although a demon, Kent does have a little animal side to him, "with his threat delivered, Kent stalked out and off the boat with an angry Amazon over his shoulder, screeching like a banshee, “My *** is showing, you moron!” I liked this book, Kent was persistent and Chloe was a ball of fire.
