A Moment of Weakness by Brooklyn Skye

Micah is a man who basically questions everything, and Laurel the girl is just adorable, "Laurel spun from the opened— and now full— pantry cupboard. “Oh,” she said, sounding surprised. “Um…food? You know, from a grocery store? You didn’t have anything besides sugary cereal for breakfast.” She smiled carefully." Micah does not do things half butt, “I’ve been an unforgiving arsehole.” At his last word, the entire class, including Laurel, gasped. Micah’s eyes widened. “***, that’s a bad word.” He faced the class, pointing at them. “Don’t you ever say that, kids.” I liked this book, Micah was a moody man.

Code of Honor by Tonya Burrows

Jesse needs to learn to read between the lines, “hold up a damn minute.” He caught her arm. “What the devil did I do?” She stared at him in utter disbelief. Was he really that clueless?" Jesse and Lanie sure hasve some hot chemistry going on, "She smiled and tangled her fingers into his hair. They’d knocked his Stetson off. “Helluva long night,” she murmured." I liked this book, I fell in love with Jesse.

Royally Ruined by Nora Flite

Costello sometimes has a hard time with patience, "I touched the zipper and he groaned. “Hurry,” he said, all husky. “You have no idea how challenging it is to stand here and wait.” I liked this book, I fell in love with Costello, and I'm quite eager for another book in this series.

What the Earl Needs Now by Michelle Willingham

There are times Lily pays matthew no mind, “that is my shirt you’ve used as a towel,” he felt compelled to point out. She dried off the kitten until it resembled a knotted ball of damp fuzz. Then she held him out..." I loved this book, Lily was very persistent, and Matthew was just a stubborn man.

Once Upon a Maiden Lane by Elizabeth Hoyt

Mary really doesn't need to do anything for Henry to be fascinated by her, “stubborn,” he said, possibly to himself, since he obviously wasn’t talking to her. “Very stubborn, but the eyes more than make up for it. And the wit. Good Lord, this is amazing…” Jealous looks good on Henry, "if the road hadn’t been so crowded, he’d have whipped his head around to stare at her. “A… few.” His fingers tightened on the reins. “How many is a few?” I enjoyed this book, Henry was qiite resilient and Mary was someone who said their thoughts.

Lure of Oblivion by Suzanne Wright

Zander loves to get a point across, "Zander pressed his body against hers, shoving his rock-hard ***k against her. “If I was gay, would I want to take you upstairs to my room and eff you raw? Would I want to know what every inch of you tastes like?” Sometimes Gwen just has to deal with her man's bossiness, “don’t, Gwen,” he clipped. “Just let me have my way right now.” Gwen sighed inwardly..." There are some things that Zander is not fussy about, “I like drunk *** with my baby. And make-up ***. And kinky ***. And just about any ***.” I loved this book, this is one of my favorite series.

Playing with Danger by Joya Ryan

I fell in love with Grant right off the man juat did something to my insides, “that’s my right, isn’t it? You being my woman, I can stare at you all I want.” I loved that Hannah was feisty, “I don’t know who you think you are, or who you actually are, but you’re on my property,” Hannah said. “So you can take your overly diamonded-up *** out of here.” I loved this book, from page one I was hooked Grant was a great guy.

Merger by Chelle Bliss

Antonio is seriously a really sexy man, "he doesn’t take his eyes off the cutting board as he pushes aside one diced up tomato and reaches for another. “Pasta sauce. Now answer the question.” Thhere are times Antonio just doesn't want to let his woman go, "I try to wriggle free, but it’s no use. Antonio’s too heavy. “Don’t go,” he groans and pulls me tighter against his body." I enjoyed this book more than the first one, don't get me wrong I loved the first one bu t this one held my interest more with these two characters.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW: Racer by Katy Evans

Racer by Katy Evans Publication Date: September 28th, 2017 Genre: Contemporary Romance

Racer, an all-new standalone in the Real Series from New York Times bestselling author Katy Evans is LIVE!

Racer Amazon.jpg
A bad boy with something to prove.
A woman with a mission.
The race of their lives.
The love of a lifetime.
I don’t think his parents expected him to live up to his name—Racer Tate—but once he felt the adrenaline rush behind the wheel, he was addicted.
He's the fastest, fiercest driver around.
Scouting new talent brings me to his doorstep...
but his smile sends me to my knees.
The sexy, mysterious Racer Tate is not the kind of man a girl like me falls for. He's secretive, reckless, elusive. But his proximity pushes me beyond reason, and his kiss....
This is our last chance to win, and he is our only hope. I'm supposed to watch him—make sure he doesn't get into trouble. But it's an impossible task. And now the one in heart wrenching, toe-curling, soul-crushing trouble is me. Because when your heart belongs to someone, their truths become your own, and their secrets become your salvation...or your curse.
He says he wants me. He says I'm the One. But he also thinks he'll break my heart, one piece at a time until it's gone.

I’m still reeling. While people approach him, he cuts a path straight to me, his gaze penetrating and target-like; making me want to bolt. His lips do that little upward tilt they do that seems so sexy, and for a second, I feel like I’m lightheaded. I gulp, and then feel mad at myself for acting like some idiot as fucking devil-Racer Tate reaches me, throws himself into a seat next to me, and turns to look at me expectantly with the most gorgeous grin on his face. I don’t know what to say. This guy has left me sort of speechless. “So … ” I say, staring in the distance at his beat-up mustang, then at him. “So … ” he says too, in his deep voice, his smile a little more wicked than it was two seconds ago. He glances at my mouth. Oh god. Why am I licking my lips? It only made his eyes narrow and darken.         I open my mouth to speak, failing to find words. He smells like sweat and soap and shampoo, and I feel my traitorous nipples push up to my top again. Why do they do that when he’s around? “This is illegal,” I state. His voice is husky from exertion, and his eyes glint with laughter. “That’s why it’s fun.” I look away from his eyes, trying to focus and clear my head. He leans over and peers into my face, his face shadowed by the moonlight and his jaw now carrying a little scruff. “Are we in agreement?” he presses. “No.” I glare and shake my head, meeting his cocky gaze. “You’re reckless, Racer.” “So are you, Alana.” “It’s just … Lana.” His brows fly up in surprise. “And a bit of a liar too.” I purse my lips, still glaring as my gaze goes back to his car. Girls are rubbing against it as if it were him, and I find it disgusting. Why are women always acting so slutty around race car drivers and bad boys? “You crashed your car,” I say flippantly. “You crashed my car,” he contradicts, amused. I laugh, then scowl in his direction. “You crashed it more. I can’t believe you were making such a fuss about me crashing into you when it was just a little kiss—” He leans in to peck my lips—fast but firmly. “That’s a kiss.” I lose my breath. My eyes wide. He eases back, lips smiling as he comes to his feet and stretches his hand out to take me by the elbow and help me to my feet. “Let’s get out of here.” He starts walking, leading the way. “And go where?” “Anywhere I can get my hands on you.”

Racer is very much like his daddy, where he doesn't waste time, “you’re very hot,” he contradicts on a devilish purr, his eyes acquiring a spark that’s just wicked. “But you’re very wound up too, Lainie.” He tsks softly, his eyes twinkling. “What are we going to do about it?” Racer is a man who says what's on his mind, “I want to come inside you.” I think my ovaries just shuddered. “I want to put my stamp in your walls.” He smirks, and I start to perspire." I loved the heck out of this book! Racer was so easy to love.

Awww Ryan could just be so sweet, “I’m paying attention to the only thing in the room that matters.” He placed his hand on her thigh..." I liked this book, and Ryan was alright the man really needed to remove his head from his butt, because honestly I don't think the man knew what he wanted.

Chasing Xander by Lexi Lawton

Xander is just not bashful, “well, considering I just spent the last few minutes playing with your underwear, yeah, I want your name.” Kylie doesn't play any games, girl lets her man know what's up, “you think lunch is going to make this all better?” She shifted on her feet. “You’re going to have to do a lot better than that.” I likes this book, I lived Xander the man could be so sweet and very hard-headed.

Omce Upon A Ghost by Erin McCarthy

Marner just can't get enough of his girl, “you’re lucky I’m hungry,” he said. “Or I’d drag your tempting little butt back to bed.” When his woman is out of it marner likes to bust her chops, “you just talked about how hot I am, how much you like my muscles.” This is the first book I've read by Erin that wasn't New Adult, it was alright I didn't hate it but I didn't love it as much as her other genre.

Tempted & Taken by Rhenna Morgan

Knox likes to show his woman appreciation for the things she does, “now, brace, because I’m about to give you thanks for a solid night’s sleep in a way you won’t soon forget.” I loved Knox, the man was just sexy, "he motioned to the door with a lift of his chin. “You shut and lock that door then we’ll both be in the middle of something I don’t want interrupted.” I really liked this book, I adored Knox.

Misadventures on the Night Shift by Lauren Rowe

Lucas is ome cocky man, "he leans forward like he’s telling me a secret. “and don’t call me‘sir.’ Unless, of course, I happen to be effing you. In which case, please do.” Lucas is not one to give up, “Abby, I want to play you a song I wrote. A song about you.” My jaw drops. Lucas flashes me a cocky smile. “And then I want to show you my ***k.” Lucas is just extremely bossy, “have you heard a word I’ve said? You don’t need an apartment because you’re going to live with me. Where I go, you go. I’ll pay off your lease.” I really liked this book, Lucas could be so frustrating at times.

Burn for You by J.T. Geissinger

Dang does Bianca have some spunk I loved her, “and if I were going on first impressions, I’d guess you were one of the homeless panhandlers who harass the tourists over on the boulevard, and throw you out of my restaurant.” Nostrils flared, he stared at me." Jackson has ways to make his woman stop talking, "I grumbled, “Lord, you’re bossy—” But then I shut up because Jackson took my mouth and I couldn’t think, let alone speak." Jackson just doesn't understand his woman's logic at times, "he looked at me like I was insane. “Why the eff would you want to look like that when you look like this?” He waved an angry hand up and down, indicating my figure." I adored this book, I fell in love with the characters and the story.

Cuffed by his Charm by Stacey Kennedy

Gabe knows how to work his woman, "...and just before I seal my mouth seductively across hers, I whisper, “Be careful what you ask for, sweetheart.” Gabe is a very passionate man, “do you know how many times I wanted to take you right here,” he says, running his free hand over my bottom, squeezing tight. “How many times I thought about bending you over this bar and effing you?” I loved this book, I fell in love with Gabe the man was full of passion.

BLOG TOUR PROMO: King of Code by CD Reiss

King of Code, an all-new intriguing and sexy standalone from CD Reiss is available NOW!

King of Code by CD Reiss Publication Date: September 18th, 2017 Genre: Contemporary Romance

From New York Times Bestselling author, CD Reiss, comes a sexy tale of secrets, intrigue, betrayal, and a love worth crossing a continent for.
Taylor Harden is a man on the edge.
The edge of fame. The edge of untold wealth.
The edge of utter humiliation.
He built an unhackable system, and in front of everyone, it’s hacked.
His reputation goes from king to goat in a split second. Boom. Like that.
Some dude in Barrington, USA (AKA Nowhere) has locked down Taylor’s code, and if he doesn’t get it back, he’s going to be wearing a monkey suit for the rest of his life.
Except, this guy? This hacker from Nowhere? He’s not a guy.
Harper Watson’s all woman. And she has a plan for Taylor, his code, and his body.

“About time!” the older lady shouted. “Is Harper back?” I asked, handing the bags to the blushing redhead. As if summoned, Harper came through the swinging door, keeping it open so everyone could get past. She looked at me through the screen. “You coming in?” she asked. “We need to talk.” “Did the decryption key work?” The door slapped closed behind her as she came out, and we were alone. The way the setting sun hit her cheeks made her glow, and the strands of gold hair at the edges looked translucent. She belonged on a postcard. I kept forgetting she was holding me hostage. I kept forgetting I needed to think strategically. I had more at stake with this girl than I’d ever had with another. “Did you doubt it would work?” “Not really. I’m just making conversation.” “What are the thorns about?” I pointed at the thorn bed that had eaten my phone and went down the stairs to the yard. She came after me. “Don’t you have these where you’re from?” She snapped a dry twig off the end. “Roses? Yes. Impenetrable, groomed thorn bushes in our yards? No.” “It’s not normal to give the gardeners in town something to do?” We walked around the perimeter. “You are not normal.” “It still blooms in spring. It’s really nice. You should see it.” We were at the back end of the yard, where the very top of the factory’s roof cut the horizon. I took her hand, pulling her to a stop. “Harper.” “Taylor?” Her hair flew in her mouth when she turned, and she drew her finger across her cheek to get it out. What was I supposed to tell her again? That I knew we’d interviewed her. That I didn’t give her the job despite her having a leg up on everyone else we saw. But was I contrite? Accusatory? Was I just going to relay information? What did I want out of her after I told her I knew? “Thank you for helping today,” she said. “If you’d asked me when we met, ‘Would Taylor Harden help clean the factory?’ I would have said, ‘No, not for any reason.’ But there you were. Pushing a broom. Scooping up shit. Not being an asshole.” “My watch was at stake.” “Yeah. Whatever. You can say what you want to keep your reputation as a shithead intact.” “I have a reputation as a shithead?” “You know you do.” I did know it, and I reveled in it. She faced me and put her other hand out. I took it, holding both hands between us. I couldn’t help it. “Well, you guys are such a bunch of sad sacks I had to help. And let me tell you, every guy in Barrington has a little asshole in him. Trust me. I’ve played pool with them.” “I want to say…” She stopped herself as if she really didn’t want to say. “Let’s get together tonight and get you another decryption code. But… saying this is stupid.” She bit her lip. “Say it anyway.” “The sooner you get four codes, the sooner you leave.” I looked at our hands so I wouldn’t have to look at her. “I’m not sure if I want that,” she said. About the Author

CD Reiss is a New York Times bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn't pick up she's at the well hauling buckets. Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master's degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels. She's frequently referred to as the Shakespeare of Smut which is flattering but hasn't ever gotten her out of chopping that cord of wood. If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine. _21A6258_pp-fb

RELEASE BLITZ REVIEW(S): Corps Security In Hope Town by Various Authors

JB Salsbury – Fighting For Honor New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author JB Salsbury brings her Fighting series to Harper Sloan’s Hope Town in this Kindle Worlds exclusive, Fighting for Honor. UFL fighter Caleb hasn’t been to Hope Town since he was eighteen. His next big fight takes place in Atlanta and the serene lakefront home from his childhood is the perfect place to train without distractions. Until he stumbles downstairs to find a woman in his house. He’s met her before, and he’s never forgotten. Honor was raised by her grandfather, Crazy Colonel Cartwright. Ostracized at a young age she was an outcast. Combined with her awkward personality and she became the local bully’s favorite plaything. Honor and Caleb come face-to-face and feelings from fourteen years ago come rushing back—not all of them good. She prefers to remain unknown, but she’s seen in public with the world’s most talked about fighter and thrust into a national spotlight that catches the attention of her childhood tormentors. And they aren’t finished with her yet.
Caleb enjoys the little things, “no, don’t feel bad. I think watching you eat will bring me more pleasure than eating it myself.” I loved the warm fuzzies Caleb got from Honor, “what if . . . I like cookin’ for you?” D***it to death, this woman and her sweet effing heart." I loved this book, Caleb was such a protective, alpha man.

JM Walker: For You Brogan Tapp tries to be strong. Guilt and fear that the man she loves will fall within himself and not know how to find his way out, haunts her. Coby Porter vows not to let the demons in his mind take over. He plans a trip to save his relationship, once and for all. Hope Town, Georgia is the saving grace for their love, before the nightmares consume them both.
I liked that Coby could admit his issues, “I know, baby,” he smiled down at me. “That’s one of the many things I love about you but I’m a possessive man, Brogan. I want everyone to know that you’re taken.” When it comes to his woman Coby is easily distracted, “eff it. We can leave in an hour.” In two steps, Coby was on me. With his hands on my *** and his mouth against mine, he pulled me hard against him."
Coby had a big heart and would do anything for his girl.

     SR Watson – Deliverance
Bleu Loren
My life has never been my own. I've always been a rule follower—the obedient girl who always did what she was told. I played the part given to me and got engaged to the man my parents set me up with. He was supposed to be my Prince Charming. He promised me a happily ever after, only he delivered a nightmare instead. Now I'm on the run. No money. No plan. Just freedom. How ironic is it that my desperate escape lands me in a place called Hope Town? I lost hope a long time ago.
Beau Rivers Lair
I'm a manwhore. It's a known fact and exactly how I like it. I make my own rules and live without expectations. Returning to Hope Town to help the woman who raised me with her restaurant meant my past was here to greet me, but I refuse to allow the mirage of possibilities to engulf me a second time around. I don't believe in love or fairy-tale endings. There's lust, and there's screwing. I don't have time for anyone or anything outside of these two principles. There is no hope for me. Accept it or not ... you've been warned!
Bleu is learning that Beau has no tact, “bra store? Who says that? You know you have the tact of a bull in a china shop. At least your mom tried to tell me I needed to put the girls away in a nice way by suggesting I shop for some essentials.” Beau likes to make things special for his girl, “happy Birthday, baby.” He lights the candles and smiles. “Make no mistake. I’m going to give you the best birthday *** ever, but first make a wish. Your birthday can’t end with you not having a piece of cake.” I liked this book, loved the characters.

Somethin’ Bad by Cat Mason Tequila can make a woman do somethin’ stupid. Somethin’ bad… After celebrating my birthday with my best friends turns into the most embarrassing night of my life, the last thing I expected was to see him walk into my bakery. The sexy smile on his face lets me know that he has no intention of letting me off the hook either. He doesn’t want an apology or an explanation. He wants me. The way Matt Hudson crashes into my life and bosses me around as if he has known me all my life is frustrating.
