Dirty Distractions by Taryn Quinn

I loved Brad's personality, the man loved to tease, “you’ve wanted to cougar me since the first time we met. Don’t try to be coy now.” Sara sometimes has to placate Brad so he feels appreciated, “you did a great job. Love the candles. Love the bubble bath.” She tugged on the button of his jeans and yanked down the zipper. “Mmm. Especially love that you’re commando.”

Devil's Own by Megan Crane

Lara must have balls of steel because that girl doesn't back down, “I prefer ‘Ms. Ashburn,’ but if you can’t manage that, try ‘Lara.’ It’s my name. ‘Babe’ is condescending at best.” Chaser comes off as gruff, and yea maybe he is but the man knows when his woman is lying to him, “bu******,” he whispered. “Just looking at me makes you wet. I can smell you. I remember how you taste. You want me so bad it hurts, baby. Who are you trying to fool?” I enioyed this book, Chaser was crude and had no problems going after what he wanted and he wanted Lara.

My Fair Lover by Nicole Jordan

When it comes to Deverill, Kate is not above busting his balls, "She didn’t trust his mild reply. “‘Better’ is not good enough. You will promise to behave as a gentleman, not a heathen pirate.” Deverill knows that sometimes he has to step back and let his woman take the reins, "He gave an exaggerated sigh. “You have not wounded me. I am resigned to going through life with you occasionally wearing the breeches in the family.” I loved this book, I loved Deverill the man was totally over the moon with Kate.

Broken Angel by Cynthia Eden

Obviously Rayce has no problem with his nudity, although Lila gets a shock and he can't help but tease her, "...wide shoulders, a twelve pack, a narrowed waist and… I’m staring at a naked man! Her gaze whipped up and then… Well, her gaze went right back down again. The werewolf was certainly big, all over. “Like what you see, angel?” His voice was low, taunting, and sexy." Rayce skmetimes doesn't know what to think of his woman, “thank you for my kiss.” She was thanking him. He wanted to effing eat her alive, and she was thanking him." I loved this book, Lila and Rayce were perfect for one another.

Before I Ever Met You by Karina Halle

Will is such a sweet guy, there's no pressure from him:
“Okay,” I tell her. “We don’t even have to have sex. We can walk the dogs. Watch a movie. Hang out. I’m one hundred percent okay with that.”
             “Really?”
“Ninety-seven percent okay with that. And I can jerk off that three percent later.”
I loved this book, Will is the type of man every woman dreams about. Thhis was a light hearted, fun read.

Children of Vice by J.J. McAvoy

*****************SPOILERS MAY BE AHEAD****************

Oh man I'm so excited the kids are getting books, I was a little upset to find out what happened to some of the original people, but then I remembered that this is a mafia book, with blood, people dying, and revenge and not everything can be rainbows and unicorns. This book had the same atmosphere as the original books, strong women, and ruthless men that will kill for their women, family and place high on the totem pole, Ethan is just like his father and I loved that, and he wasn't a bashful one, "he stood naked at the side of the bed, using the towel to dry his hair and not cover… his ***k… his very big…thick…“Hey?” He smirked, repeating me." Darn, Ivy can hold her own against Ethan, the girl has brass balls, she reminded me of Melody, “how sad,” I said, walking back up the stairs, leaving Ethan to stand alone. But not before adding, “Don’t be surprised if I do not speak to you for a while.” It's good to know Ethan has goals, “it’s code for the fridge is empty and we can’t live on kettle corn, alcohol, and sex,”he said, pulling me off the couch." All I cam say is where the hell is the next book!!!!

Dirty Little Secrets by AJ Nuest

Xander is learning that Charlie is full of surprises, "he jerked to a stop as their eyes met across the room, and even from that distance, it would’ve been hard to miss the way his pupils dilated so fast they nearly swallowed his irises whole. The front of his towel tented, and she rolled her lips to hide a smile as he dragged a long, slow perusal down the blankets, back up her legs and chest to her face. “Are you naked in my bed?” Xander is a confused man at times when it comes to his woman, "Jesus, women were confusing. “All right.” Tossing his hands in the air, he cried uncle. “What’s the problem?” I enjoyed this book, I loved Xander.

Confessions of a Former Puck Bunny by Cindi Madsen

Ryder is easily offended when his woman doesn't think he can take care of himself, "I scowled. “Against Brett? I’m trying not to find that insulting, because I assure you, I could kick his *** in my sleep.” I enjoyed this book, I loved Ryder the man had patience and he was funny.

Falling for the Hometown Girl by Shelli Stevens

Where Hunter is concerned, Katie can sometimes put her foot in her mouth, “I’ll make sure to find ways to keep you active.” He paused in the doorway and turned to raise an eyebrow. Now didn’t that just sound suggestive. “Outside activities, of course. You know what I meant.” But her words were rushed and she bit her lip after." i really liked this book, I loved Katie and Hunter.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW: Sweetest Obsession by Ann Mayburn

This is a STANDALONE insta-obsession erotic romance set in the Cordova Empire series (no cheating-HEA-no cliffhanger)
Ramon
In my family, there’s an old story going back generations about love at first sight. I used to think it was a fairytale, until I met my sweet Joy. The more I got to know her, the more I wanted her. But the world of the cartels is a dangerous place, so I watched her from afar, wishing things were different and I could claim her for my own. Despite my best efforts to keep her safe, evil found Joy. After she endured a savage beating at the hands of a rival cartel, I vowed to do everything in my power to make her mine and win her heart. I can only pray that when she finds out the truth about me, and the things I’ve done to bind her to me forever, that she’ll be able to love the monster I really am.
Joy
Without a doubt, Ramon Cordova is one of the biggest jerks I’ve ever met. He’s egotistical, bossy, and seems to know how to push all my buttons. Too bad he’s also sinfully handsome, utterly charming when he wants to be, and is the only man I feel safe with. After the attack, I’ve become afraid of the world outside of my home—afraid of crowds, afraid of loud noises, afraid of everything. When I’m in Ramon’s strong arms, those fears melt away. I know there’s a darkness inside of him that he tries to hide, and I’m afraid that when I finally find out the secrets he’s been keeping, he’ll destroy what’s left of my battered heart.
With over forty published books, Ann is Queen of the Castle to her husband and three sons in the mountains of West Virginia. In her past lives she's been an Import Broker, a Communications Specialist, a US Navy Civilian Contractor, a Bartender/Waitress, and an actor at the Michigan Renaissance Festival. She also spent a summer touring with the Grateful Dead-though she will deny to her children that it ever happened. From a young Ann has had a love affair with books would read everything she could get her hands on. As Ann grew older, and her hormones kicked in, she discovered bodice ripping Fabio-esque romance novels. They were great at first, but she soon grew tired of the endless stories with a big wonderful emotional buildup to really short and crappy sex. Never a big fan of purple prose, throbbing spears of fleshy pleasure and wet honey pots make her giggle, she sought out books that gave the sex scenes in the story just as muchd etail and plot as everything else-without using cringe worthy euphemisms. This led her to the wonderful world of Erotic Romance, and she's never looked back. Now Ann spends her days trying to tune out cartoons playing in the background to get into her 'sexy space' and has accepted that her Muse has a severe case of ADD. Ann loves to talk with her fans, as long as they realize she's weird, and that sarcasm doesn't translate well via text.

REVIEW:
Dang Joy can do anything and it gets Ramón all fired up, “why do I like it when you yell at me? Normally, I wouldn’t take that kind of disrespect from anyone, but with you? It turns me on.” Joy sure knows how to tire out her man, “Ramón?” I grunted, unable to force my mouth to shape words as I panted. “Did I…did I break you?” I grunted again, but managed to lift one hand to flip her off. Laughing, she cuddled into me, stroking my sweaty back. “Poor baby. Think you can make it to the bathroom?” I liked this book, I can't wait for more in this series.

Blaze by Donna Grant

Anson can be completely honest at times, “because I care about you. Because it physically hurts me to think about you harmed.” There are times Anson just needs his woman then and now, "he walked out of the office, closing the door softly behind him. Then he pushed his woman against the wall and took her lips in a fiery kiss." I liked this book, and am eager for more.

Physical Forces by D. D. Ayres

I loved how sweet Oliver could be, "he grinned and leaned forward to kiss her. “They’ll know what we’ve been up to. Do you really care?” She shook her head and pulled his face to hers again for another kiss. He rubbed his beard along her jawline. “That’s good enough for me.” There are times Oliver has to reassure his lady that he means what he says, “that’s just my ***k. Thinks he’s a bloody porn star. But the rest of me is brain-dead knackered.” She nodded and crawled back onto her side of the bed." I loved this book, I thought Oliver was sexy.

Turn Me Loose by Anne Calhoun

Ian is quite the eager beaver where Riva is concerned, "he tore one package free from the strip and tossed the rest on the nightstand. Riva glanced at the condoms fetched up against a stack of coffee table books meant for decoration. “Optimistic.” There are times Ian works through his pain, “Forget about my ribs,” he growled. “I have.” Full steam ahead. He curled his fingers into the hem of her floaty little dress and pulled until she shifted her weight to release the fabric from under her butt..." I liked this book, loved Ian he was sexy.

Never Trust a Pirate by Valerie Bowman

Cade could be auch a charmer, “I see only a beautiful woman with whom I desperately want to dance.” I loved that Danielle could get Cade all uptight, "Cade slammed his fist on the table. “Dang it. Stop answering questions with questions.” I liked this book, Cade and Danielle wpuld could for each other, as they kept challenging one another.

Distraction by Emily Snow

There are times Jamie is fed up, and not impressed with Mateo, I mean the man has no manners, "eff, it’s good to see you? I haven’t spoken to this guy in nearly a week and that’s the first thing he says to me?" Mateo isn't one for liking his woman in clothes, “why the eff are you dressed?” he retorts, skimming his dark gaze from my lacy bra to the matching thong and up to my face." I loved this book, Mateo was bossy, demanding, crude at times, and didn't care what others thought.

Hunger by Eve Langlais; Kate Douglas; A. C. Arthur

THE ALPHA'S MATE:
Fabian gets offensive at times, “I do not mope ,” he grumbled, shooting her a dark look over his shoulder. “I brood.” Fabian is mot one for interruptions, “This better be effing important,” Fabian snapped as he righted himself, his eyes again emitting that odd golden glow." I loved this book, it had so much humor.

DANGEROUS PASSIONS:
Darnell likes to entice Evan, "she kissed him, a long, leisurely kiss that definitely got his attention. There was a twinkle in her eyes when she innocently said, “The wolves are quiet now, but I’m wide awake. What we were doing before seemed to help me sleep really well. Are you at all…?” There's a second couple in this novella Trak and Chelo, and Trak, that man doesn't mind getting personal, “Chelo? May I ask you a personal question?” She didn’t speak, but after a moment she rolled onto her back and nodded her head. “Chelo … sweetheart? Have you ever experienced an orgasm?” I liked this book, seeing two different couples and how they work out.

BOUND TO THE WOLF:
Phelan can be comforting and caring, “I don’t know that answer,” he told her. “But as long as it will make you feel better, I will stay by your side.” Marena is not one to follow orders, “I told you to run,” Phelan said, his chin resting on the top of her head. “‘Run’ means ‘run,’ dangit! It does not mean ‘stay’!” I liked this book Phelan was bossy.

REVIEW:
Charlie is sweet on Emmy's ego, the man knows just what to say,  “then you’re a designer.” He ran a finger along the neckline of my dress, making me shiver. In a good way. “The sexiest designer I know.” Charlie is just one yummy man, “I choose to say our goodbyes and go somewhere more private. And I can show you exactly how in control I like to be.” I really liked this book, I loved Charlie.

Burn by Shey Stahl

Caleb's wooing skills need some work, the man is just blunt, "Caleb’s hands stay on my hips, his mouth and lips grazing the side of my neck as he asks, “We can go back to my place, or I could eff you in the bathroom here.” I really don't think Caleb knows what the word shy means, "just as I’m about to tell her I’ll clean up, Caleb opens the goddaen door, completely effing naked. “Give us ten minutes.” I loved this book, although the main man was Caleb it was Owen that stole my heart and I'm hoping that man gets a story of his own.

One Little Kiss by Maggie Kelley

Kate and Jake have strange communication issues at times, “you’re goddarn right you shouldn’t have. Who do you think you are?” She looked at him with the intensity of an atomic bomb about to go off. She was either going to kill him or… She grabbed him and kissed him. Deeply. Completely. And he kissed her right back." I found this to be a cute and fun read.

Mr. Rich by Virna DePaul

Bastian sure is charming, the man needs to work on his game, "he scowls. “You’re effing gorgeous. I wouldn’t be here otherwise. Now say you’ll go to the concert with me.” Bastian can do some things right, "she gasps when she sees the flowers. “They’re gorgeous!” Taking them from me, she kisses me and then walks into her kitchen, grabbing a vase from a cabinet. “And you remembered that I love white roses!” I liked this book, Julia balanced out Bastian.

Bad Neighbor by M. O'Keefe

Jesse gives some interesting compliments, “I’m not lying. You know you looked good. You strutted away from me like you were effing Beyonce.” Jesse is so blunt, “I’m not effing anyone while I’m effing you. And you…” I kissed her again, getting into it. “No dates. No dressing up in those jeans for other guys.” I loved this book, Jesse was so broody.

Nudes by Sarah Robinson

Ben is just adorable at times, "I'm sorry." He tried to find a way to explain his complete break with sanity . "And I'm also not sorry at all. I've wanted to do that since the moment I saw you. And it's completely against the rules— if there even are rules. It's entirely unprofessional, and I should know better." It's quite obvious Ben is a little crazy:
"Ben, no. You can't sell your house just because I don't like it."
"The hell I can't," he countered with a chuckle. "If my girlfriend hates it and I hate it, why on earth would I keep it?"
I enjoyed this book, I loved these characters.

Sworn to Protect by Diana Gardin

Rayne is just one sassy girl, "I can’t even help it when my eyes roll skyward. “Oh, really, Jeremy? How the hell have I made it from my place of employment to my car for the past nine years? Are you really going to walk me?” Jeremy is just all for getting straight to the point, “we haven’t discussed sleeping arrangements yet. Allow me to assist you in your decision: you’re sleeping with me.” I loved this book, Jeremy was uber protective of those he loved.

REVIEW:
Chloe would do anything for Reardon and her son Chris even sit through comic con panels, "I looped one arm through his, then the other through Chris’s, and I went with my men to meet the Guardians of the Galaxy." Sometimes Chris and Reardon start making decisions and Chloe is just sitting there dumbfounded, “that settles it then, we’ll stay in Copper Woods and get one of the bigger houses,” Reardon turned his head to me and asked, “Do you want to wait, or just do one move?” I was sure my mouth was gaping like a fish, opening in closing, as I sat there in a stupor." I love the Lewis family and I'm so looking forward to more books in this series.

Beast by Jordan Marie

Our man Beast has no filter, “I’m not asking you to suck my ***k, just charge my phone.” Beast doesn't mind helping himself to come things, and honestly I don't think Hayden minds, "...I take a bite, stopping mid-bite when she stares at me. I figured she would scold me, but she only laughs . “Good thing I made extra.” I give her the grunt she seems to appreciate so much..." Our boy is real protective of his woman, "he huffs, but puts his hammer down and walks over to me. “If you get hurt throwing that, I’m going to kill everyone here and spend the rest of my life in jail,” he mutters..." I liked this book, I can't wait for the next one so when can see how Beast and Hayden's story ends.

**This is book 2 in the Checkmate Duet Series–a friends to lovers romance. You must read book 1, Checkmate: This is Reckless first. Highly recommended to read the Checkmate Duet, This is War and This is Love first, but not necessary. This can read as a standalone duet.**

REVIEW:
I really loved Courtney she was a sweet girl, but then she had this little evil side to her, “And part of me just wants to walk up to her and slap her across the face until her ugly nose ring falls out.” She narrows her eyes and releases a breath. “But being a Southern lady, I won’t stoop to that level or let her bring that side out of me,” she says through clenched teeth that really brings out her Southern accent." Drew is one of those men that only want the best for his woman, "I feel like a kid again when I turn and ask Drew if we can keep him. He places his hand on my back and looks down at the cutest puppy in the world. “I told you before, whatever makes you happy, sweetheart.” I loved this book, and it ended with a peak about who the next installment is about, and I'm so excited for the next two characters.

REVIEW:
Drew can be a little cocky, “for a girl who just screamed out my name and came on my face, you’re a little moody,” he quips." Courtney knowd how to play her man's games, she may even be better at it, "I watch as she slowly unties it and opens it up, revealing what she’s wearing underneath. I swallow. She’s wearing nothing. “Jesus Christ, Courtney,” I mutter, looking around to make sure no one else is getting the view. She closes it back up with a sultry smile and leans over the door window." What a cliffhanger! I'm seriously anxious for the next book.
