Kiss of the Irish by Lauren Hawkeye

Dang when Sarah is overtired girl tends to get a little cray cray, "...Sarah’s head drooped against his shoulder. She took an exaggerated sniff of the front of his plaid shirt. “You smell wonderful.” Arching an eyebrow, Cian did his best to hide his grin." Sarah has some good friends around her, always bringing her back up when she's down, “we’re going to get you drunk, and then you can take advantage of Cian. I assure you, he won’t mind in the slightest.” I really liked this book, Cian was a sexy man.

Tempting Her Neighbor by Laura Jardine

Sometimes Cole's pride can't take what Rachel says, "he scowled. “I don’t think anyone has called me adorable since I was a baby.” Rachel sometimes likes to call the shots, “enough with the pretty words,” she said , emotion overcoming her. “Time to have sex. Maybe in the shower, because I need to get cleaned up after that run.” I liked this book, I loved how awkward Cole could be at times.

Payback by Christina Phillips

Amelia knows how to get a reaction out of Gage, “you mean if I knee your nuts, you won’t fire me?” Instinctively, I cradle my junk." Gage has no problem telling his woman his thoughts, "if she wants me to spell it out for her, I will. “We’re dating, Amelia. You and me. And just so you know, I don’t share well, so don’t even think about going out with one of your nice boys again.” I loved that Gage loved how strong willed his woman was, "...I love how she put Abbott in his place without a second’s hesitation. My girl doesn’t take **** from anyone, and that’s the way it should be." I really loved this book.

The Nanny Arrangement by Rachel Harris

Deacon likes to make sure he does right by his girl, "Deacon grabbed onto her wrists. “Our first kiss was outside on the effing street.” Guilt swamped his eyes.“ You deserved better than that. You darn sure deserve better than being groped like a horny teenager in the back of a car.” I really liked this book, I thought it was sweet and it was a great friends to lovers romance.

Just the Thing by Marie Harte

I really liked Gavin he was an amusing man, "she kept trying not to look back at his groin. “Oh, sorry. I don’t mean my ***k. It just does that when you’re around. Kind of like an affectionate salute. I was in the Marine Corps, you know.” There are times Zoe just blows her man's mind, "je opened his eyes to check out her outfit again. “And what you’re wearing? Never, ever get rid of it. I’m thinking of framing it, minus those nipple covers of course. It’ll go on my wall. Right above my bed.” I really liked this book, I loved the characters.

Provocative by Lisa Renee Jones

Nick is so dang bossy, “I’ve had my share of one night women, Faith,” I say, voicing what I’ve only just concluded myself. “You aren’t one of them.” I firm my voice. “I’m not leaving. You need my help, and you’re going to take my help.” There were times Nick had restraint, “it’s self-serving,” I say, leaning in to brush my lips over hers. “I want a beautiful artist in my bed and if we don’t go right now, I might rip this dress, too.” I turn her toward the door." I liked this book, and can't wait for more Nick.

When a Lady Dares by Tara Kingston

Gavin wants to make sure his lady is fully satisfied, “tame?” He leaned toward her. “If you’re inclined to engage in a more adventurous endeavor, I’d embrace the challenge.” I loved the tenderness Gavin showed Sophie, "Gavin nipped at her earlobe, unleashing an utterly delicious tingle that cascaded to her toes. “Self-control is highly overrated, or so I’m told. It’s not a virtue I’ve bothered to cultivate. Besides, you’ve never been seduced by me, have you, darling?” I enjoyed this book. Loved Gavin.

Kate was just so easy to love, the girl had a way about her, "...and I've yet to see one, but my neighbor told me he had a snake." Her eyes grow wide with fear at the idea. "I'd die. I honest to God would die if there was a snake in my backyard." She visibly shudders when she says that. "So I pretend they don't exist." Alex is a very protective man, “that’ll be enough,” Alex barks at Saul. “Do not talk to her like that ever again. Do you understand?” The air is fraught with tension as the two men stare at each other. “I said, do you understand?” I liked that Em was a feisty girl, “fine,” I concede begrudgingly. “Just today. I won’t do this again, Alex.” I give him a stern look, but his gleeful smile doesn’t care." I enjoyed this book and I can't wait to see what happens in the next one.

Do you understand me?” Alex's timing could use some work, "her face is the angriest I’ve ever seen it. “Do you really think now is the time to be a smar****, Alex? Just drive. Faster!” I loved this book, I loved seeing the characters get what they deserved.

Blurred Lines Series Review by Erin McCarthy

I loved Heath right from the start, "is that what I am?" Heath asked, sounding both amused and annoyed. "A brother from another mother, Cat?" I mean he is blunt, "it's boring," he said emphatically. "And totally not you. I cannot see you sitting in an office in a effing blouse." Cat she is a bold one, "why won't you touch me?" I asked, ashamed that I was so needy, but needing to know the answer. "You've been avoiding touching me all day." Aubrey sweet baby Jesus I want her story next the friendship that Cat and her have is unbelievable:
But now it seemed all bets were off Because she casually asked, "Is Heath hung?"
"Aubrey!" I was caught off guard and I could actually feel myself blushing.
"What? You asked me about Jared. Though Heath just looks like he would be. He's too angry to have a small pen**."
This is another series by Erin that I'm going to love.

Devin is a man that at times has no problem voicing his opinions, “no, of course not. I just want people to stop kissing my ***. Stop lying to me.” Tiffany had some balls on her, and I liked it, “no, it wasn’t. It was meant to put me in my place. I already know my place. You don’t need to remind me of it.” My whole life had been about people making sure I knew that I wasn’t good enough, that I was inferior. Defective. “Don’t patronize me,” I said, my voice shaking just a little with anger." I loved this book, these characters just make their way into your hearts.

Riker, I loved the man he could be stand offish but I loved his caring side toward Aubrey, “how could it not be?” he asked, the corner of his mouth turning up. “Now if you’re done having a meltdown can we go make dinner, together? I really am hungry.” Aubrey has such a smart mouth on her, amd I don't think Riker knows what to make of her at times:
“What if I say your p**** is beautiful, is that acceptable?”
“Aubrey, what the eff?” He put the truck in park and turned to me. “One, you haven’t seen my p****. Two, no. That is not acceptable.”
I loved this book, Aubrey and Riker ot each other that's why they made a good couple.

I didn't really enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed the others, I mean Ethan and Chloe were great characters, but me and the book just didn't have that spark.

I liked Anya the girl was fierce, strong, and proud, “let me give you some money at least, so you can get a few things.” I pulled out my wallet. I had forty in cash and I tried to hand it to her. She physically took a step back." Kane is a man with an agenda, “I’m going to go get a condom and let you finish your pizza. Then yes, I will do you with my delicious ***k.” I liked this book, I loved Kane.

Fuel for Fire by Julie Ann Walker

Dagan could be such a flirty man, “well, for the record, you’re welcome to climb on top of me any time your heart desires. As for the thrust and parry…” He made sure the grin he shot her was wholly devilish. “Baby, you ain’t seen nothing yet.” There are times Dagan's concentration is real bad, “sorry. It’s hard to focus with all”— he waved in the general direction of her chest—“ that going on.” I loved this book, Chelsea and Dagan drove each other nuts.

How to Lose a Highlander by Michelle McLean

Jesus, Sorcha and Malcolm's relationship is quite intertaining, “well, I didna know ye were trying to kill me. If ye’d warned me that you had laced the wine with something, I’d ha’ listened better.” Even of not intentional Sorcha drives her man batty, "...only instead of hopping to the ground , she slid off in a boneless heap and landed square on her bum in the dirt. Which set off the tears again. Malcolm rubbed his hand over his eyes. “Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, save me from this woman,” he muttered." Malcolm is always giving his wife invitations to join him, “verra much.” His voice was deep and husky and made her toes curl in her boots. “Any time ye want to join me in the bath, or anywhere else in this chamber, ye are more than welcome.” I loved this book, I loved the arguments Sorcha and Malcolm would have.

It's Me Again, Baby by Katie Reus

Dang Maguire just puts it all out there, “not a question. If I’m dating you, I’m not dating anyone else.” And neither are you was the silent statement." Sam has no problem putting Maguire in his place, “well, annoyed at least. You just say these things without asking me. That’s not how relationships work.” I loved this second chance romance book, it was a quick read, and I just fell in love with Maguire.

Seduction Squad: Tainted by Amanda Stewart

Theo just doesn't hesitate on things, “can I touch you?” In response, he took my hand and wrapped it around his iron hard shaft..." Theo is a relentless man, “considering it was my ***k you were riding like it was your favorite fairground pony, I think you effing do.” I liked this book, Theo may have fome off unrelenting, but when it came to his woman he'd do anything for her.

The Prince's Captive Virgin by Maisey Yates

Adam is a man that just doesn't give up, “I like it when you say my name,” he said , his voice rough, the dark notes skimming along her skin, making her shiver. “I should like it even more if you said my name in bed.” When it came to Belle, Adam only had so much control, “had I known you were sitting in the library naked beneath your dress I could never have left you alone,” he said, each word thick with desire." I really enjoyed this book, I loved seeing Adam change from a mean beast to a mean beast that would do anything for Belle.

Hammered by MJ Fields

Gage knows how to pull out the big guns with his retorts,  “sweetheart, there is no way in heck you could handle my bone.” Gage is just a big ball of sunshine, “you want flowers and bul*****, or you want to come twenty times in three days?” I don’t answer. “Am I gonna get a darn picture, or do I have to effing jerk-off to the same goddarn one every day?” I really enjoyed this book, I loved Gage.

Grand Slam by Heidi McLaughlin

Travis makes some yummy promises, “yeah, baby, that’s how much I want you right now. Be prepared for tomorrow night.” I kiss her behind her ear and pull her closer to me." Travis is one romantic man, “eff that noise, Saylor. I want to be with you, all of you, and that includes putting my ***k in your ’gina.” I loved this book, Travis was relentless, the man went after what he wanted.

Duke with Benefits by Manda Collins

I loved Dalton's honesty, “because I couldn’t bear the thought of some rich social climber with piles of money but no appreciation for how special you are to have you.” She didn’t know what to say. And didn’t need to, because he said finally, “I did it because I wanted you for myself, Daphne. I wanted you to be mine.” Both Daphne and Dalton are both quite matter of factly people, “I’ve heard there is some pain for the lady the first time,”he said against her ear, even as he caressed over her naked skin. “I will try to be gentle, but I don’t know if once I begin I’ll be able to…”She stopped his words with a kiss." I really enjoyed this book, I loved Dalton and Daphne.

His reckless behavior as a child caused the deaths of his entire family. On the lonely Sydney streets, the orphan found friends. Found “brothers.” Never again will Seattle Homicide Detective Heath Justice break the rules and risk his new family. Order and discipline govern his life…until he meets a curvaceous redhead. With two ugly murder cases to solve, the last thing he needs is this disconcertingly lovely, whirlwind of chaos, yet…charmed by her wit and intelligence, Heath can’t resist.

Deep into writing a murder mystery, author London Shaw is shocked when she herself is implicated in a homicide. She can’t believe the ever-so-authoritarian Detective Heath Justice expects her to simply ignore the crime and go on about her business. Not happening.  Although the man’s whiskey rough voice, cuffs, and masterful touch could melt any woman’s resistance—and does—she has a craving to do a little investigating herself.

When all or nothing is your only play

When Heath’s murder investigation threatens a far-reaching conspiracy, everyone he cares for becomes their target—including the woman he’s come to love.

Heath had grabbed the flask from the SUV’s back seat when he glimpsed a figure through the rear window. A woman, wearing a blue hoodie and black sweatpants walked to the edge of Derek’s driveway and gazed at the house’s front door. A few seconds later, she began walking swiftly down the driveway, constantly checking the front door.

Was she worried about being seen? A possible intruder?

Since he’d parked closer to the house further on from Derek’s parents’ property, the woman hadn’t spotted him. Heath replaced the flask on the backseat and gently pushed the back passenger door nearly closed. He waited until she had disappeared behind the side of the house before following.

Careful not to make noise, he followed the woman down the driveway and watched as she stopped in front of a side door to the garage, which was separate from the house. With her back to Heath, she pulled something from her pocket and tried to jimmy the door’s lock.

The woman glanced toward the back of the house, likely checking to see if she’d been spotted, then continued her efforts with the lock. A soft hiss and a “dammit” indicated her efforts were unsuccessful.

Heath also couldn’t miss the curvy shape of her figure outlined so well by the soft black material hugging her gorgeous arse. One shown off to perfection as she bent to look closer at the lock.

A tiny squeak of joy, followed by her opening the door, signaled the possible intruder had crossed a line. It seemed such a shame to stop his fun. Nevertheless, duty called…

Heath pulled out his 9mm from his shoulder holster and held it out in front of him as he moved forward. “Police! Put your hands on your head and step away from the door.”

The woman let out a high squeak, dropped the lock pick, and spun around, eyes wide. Her mouth formed an “O” at the sight of his weapon. “Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness.” She covered her mouth with both hands before waving them in front of her, palms facing Heath. “It’s not what you think. Honestly.” Her gaze snapped to her left in the direction of the back of the house as if she expected someone to come out any moment.

“I said, hands on your head.” Heath commanded, satisfied when the woman immediately obeyed. “Come forward, turn around, and face the garage door.” He saw her close her eyes in defeat before she obeyed. Heath grabbed his cuffs and shoved his weapon back in the holster. With efficient moves, he had her wrists secured behind her.

“Officer, I can explain.” She sighed. “I mean, I know everyone says that, but really, nothing illegal’s happening here.”

“Good to know.” He pulled her jacket’s hood from her head. Red hair. No, the description didn’t do the color justice, but he only knew guyspeak, which would have to suffice to explain the bursts of deeper red in amongst the lighter strands, all held in a ponytail.

Heath patted down his suspect. No weapons. And he’d have to be dead not to notice the way his hands fit over her hips, the roundness of her arse. He wasn’t a sleaze, not by any means, but he appreciated a woman’s body like any man.

Taking her arm in a firm grip, he turned his suspect around.

Green eyes framed with long, thick lashes blinked up at him. “When I say nothing illegal, I mean it depends on your point of view.”

“My point of view is as a cop, which doesn’t leave a lot of leeway on a range of subjects.”

She frowned at him, as if he was being unreasonable. “That’s a rather rigid stance. Not everything is black and white.”

Heath wasn’t prepared to debate the point. “Your disappointment is noted. Now—”

“Hey, I’m sure you’re a busy guy. And, uh,”—she licked her lips—“you need to go protect the community. That’s an important role. Absolutely. So, you know—” She broke off. “Shoo. Anyway, we can put a line under this and start the day over.”

Despite her opinion of his so-called inflexible outlook on life, he couldn’t help answering. “We can, huh?”

“Totally.” She nodded, sending her ponytail bobbing.

Keeping hold of her arm, Heath looked down at her black canvas tennis shoes to hide his mouth twitching.

It was a safe bet the young woman wasn’t a hardened criminal. But whatever the hell she was up to, he aimed to find out. First he needed to phone Derek.

“Do you know the owners of this house?”

Her mouth dropped open, and her eyes grew huge in her face. “You don’t have to get them,” she rushed out.

“Oh, but I do.” He went to pull out his phone from his back pocket, and the woman jerked against his grip. She would have toppled over if not for him keeping his hold.

Oh, no, sweetheart.

He tightened his grip, reinforcing her captivity and moved closer, towering over her. “Lady, you could have hurt yourself.” The safety of suspects was important, and the thought of the little redhead causing herself harm propelled his alpha instincts center stage. “Resist once more, and I’ll use my belt to hogtie you.”

She drew in a sharp breath. What he didn’t see was fear. Not in her eyes or the way a blush stained the cool-toned white skin of her face. And swear to God, he felt her body soften against him.

An image of her hogtied flashed through his mind. Only she wouldn’t be in this driveway, but in his bed. Lying on his sheets. Her glorious long red hair spread over his pillow.

“What the hell’s going on?”

Heath looked over his shoulder. Derek stood at the side of the house, his hands jammed on his hips.

Dammit,” came from his suspect.

A look best described as misery—from the closed eyes and turned down mouth—covered her face.

“I caught a suspect attempting to break into your parents’ garage.”

Derek gave a dry laugh. “I’ve no doubt she’s up to something, but that’s no suspect.” He strode up the driveway, his frown reserved for the woman at Heath’s side. “Meet London, my baby sister."

Heath swung his gaze to…Derek’s sister?

Those eyes, so wide and shocked before, were now narrowed with the promise of rebellion, even as she stood there—in his cuffs.

Ah. So bravado was her chosen defense.

Heath remembered the sweet color of her blush at his earlier threat of hogtying her.

Lightning might strike him down any second, but the woman intrigued him, even knowing she was Derek’s sister. The knowledge he didn’t have to call for a cruiser to take her to booking added a new dimension to the proceedings. Anticipation flowed through Heath. He was going to enjoy this visit, and for way more than pancakes.

Time for his prisoner to confess all.

London likes to babble especially when she's nervous, “you here for the coffee? Seven Dishes is the best.” She cringed inwardly. Lord, she sounded like a cheesy spokesperson, but the words kept coming. “The food’s great too. You should try the stroganoff. It’s my favorite.” God, why didn't she shut up." Heath always had London's best interests at heart, “here’s the game plan. We’re going to order even more Chinese food, enjoy the company of family and friends, and let them distract you from all the world’s dramas for an hour or so.” When it comes to playing games, London can even the score, “fine, you bested me with your counter prank.”True enough. But she added for fun, “Now you can begin your shift at work knowing I’m wearing no underwear as I walk past various men in public.” Heath’s grin disappeared in a flash." I really liked this book, I loved the family dynamics and how close they are to each other.

About a Dog by Jenn McKinlay

I loved how Gavin could reassure Mac and worries would go away, "Gavin reached over and took Mac’s hand in his. He squeezed her chilly fingers in his warm grip and Mac felt reassured. “Let’s save the panic until we have something to panic about,” he said." Oh Tulip, sometimes that dog ruins some moments, “huh? What?” He opened his eyes and saw Mac staring down at him and a slow smile spread across his lips. Then Tulip pounced and kissed him good morning on the mouth. “Ugh, blerg.” I liked this book, I thought it was really cute.

Caught Looking by Jody Holford

Ryan is really blunt, “I don’t share. If we’re dating or a… thing or whatever the hell you want to call it, and Cam makes a move, he might end up eating his teeth.” Ryan's friends can read him like a book at times, "Ryan practically growled as he straightened in his chair. “Okay. Jesus. What is your problem? Forget I said anything..." I enjoyed this book, loved the characters and the three boys made my heart melt.

Role Play by Tess Oliver

Aidan can only be pushed so far before the man snaps, "screw the role play, Jane , I need you right fucking now." He flipped me around and with a gasp I landed on my back on the couch. He loomed over me, shirtless and looking almost feral with lust." This series is a quick read but the books give you the naughty you need to make it through the day.

One Final Chance by LK Collins

Fallon is an adorable drunk, “I’m sorry I got so drunk and grabbed your very large ***k.” I help her out of the vehicle and up to the door, and she wobbles the whole time." Parks only does the best for his girl, "I smirk at her. What? Did she think I would book us into a dive? “You didn’t think I’d book anything except for the best for my sexy, did you?” I liked this book, loved Parks the man took care of what was his.

Grumbling, I toss on some black lounge pants and my oversized Tulane t-shirt and head to the drugstore. My head throbs by the time I get there, and my insides are writhing. I rest my hand against my lower stomach and grab a basket before calling James to complain. “I swear,” I tell him as I grab a bottle of painkillers. “It’s like this entire day has been cursed.” He snickers. “Curse. Get it? Curse?” I roll my eyes, even though he can’t see me. “Laugh it up. Meanwhile, it feels as if someone is playing Battleship in my uterus.” “Poor Chessie bear. At least we know why you were in such a foul mood.” A flush washes over my cheeks. “Yeah.” Lie. Lie. Lie. A tub of salted caramel gelato makes its way into the basket. “Tell me you’re getting some gelato,” James says. I smile. “Just grabbed it.” “Salted caramel?” “You know it.” I find the feminine products aisle and search for my brand. “I’m going to go home, take a long bath with my gelato, and forget this fucking day.” Forget Finn. “And then I’m going to go on Amazon and buying a freaking year’s supply of tampons so I don’t have to make these kinds of emergency runs anymore.” A low, deep chuckle rumbles from behind me, and all the tiny hairs lift on my arms. “But you’ll still need your gelato,” a familiar—fuck me, seriously?—voice points out. My insides swoop even as my cheeks burn. “Who is that?” James asks in my ear. I slowly turn on one heel. “The plague,” I say, glaring up at Finn Mannus’s smiling face. “From asshat to plague.” Finn scrunches up his brow. “I’m not sure if that’s a step down or a tie.” “Who is that?” James nearly yells now. I don’t take my eyes off Finn. “I’ll call you back.” James’s squawks of protest cut off as I hit the end button. “Are you stalking me, Mannus?” Finn a rests his hands low on his lean hips. “Having a healthy amount of conceit myself, I have to admire yours, but no, buttercup. My buddy Woodson lives a few blocks away. It’s poker night. I’m stocking up on beer.” It’s only then I notice a twelve pack tucked under his other arm. “And tampons?” I ask, with a pointed look around the aisle we’re standing in. “Not tonight,” he says easily. “Though we used to keep a pack of them back in college. Light flows were perfect for stopping up bloody noses.” A snort escapes me. “Now there’s a visual.” Somehow, I’ve taken a step closer to him. He’s freshly showered, the golden brown strands of his hair still damp at his temples. And I wonder if he’s just come from the gym or practice. “So back in college you went and bought these tampons?” “Nah,” he says with a cheeky smile. “I’d ask one of the girls hanging around to get me some.” “Of course you did.” My nose wrinkles with annoyance. “Give me a little credit, Chess. I’d buy them now if I had to.” “Hmm…” I eye him, trying not to return his smile. If only because it’s more fun when he teases. “So why are you in this aisle now, if not for potential nosebleed needs?” “That’s easy.” He steps closer, a warm wall of muscle and clean scent. “I heard your voice.” For a second I just blink. “You recognized my voice?” His gaze darts over my face as if he’s trying to get a read on why I’m gaping at him. “Not to be…ah…rude, but you’re loud when you talk on the phone.” “Yeah, but… You recognized it.” We’d only just met. It occurs to me that I’d recognized his both times he’d snuck up on me. Then again, his voice is distinctive, flowing like hot honey when he’s relaxed or hammering down like iron to rock when he’s taking command of a situation. A soft flush of pink tints the tips of his ears. If I wasn’t staring at him, I might have missed it. He shifts his weight. “Was I not supposed to?” “No. Yes.” I shake my head and laugh. “I don’t know.” He grins then. “You’re cute when you’re flustered.” “I’m not flustered.” I am.         THS1

Finn is an honest man, "he looks almost boyish then. “Yeah. We are.” His eyes spark. “Fair warning. I’ll still be picturing you naked half of the time. So get used to a bit of leering.” Finn states things matter of factly, “what are we, sixteen?” He looks appalled. “We’re supposed to be together. There is no way I wouldn’t be sleeping the same bed with my girl. Mom knows that.” When it comes to answering questions Chess is a bare's all kind of woman, “I took nude photos of Finn,” Chess says before biting into a tortilla chip, loaded with guacamole. Mom chokes on her drink, as Glenn laughs, and my dad bites back a smile." Finn is quite the comedian, “I prefer the Tarzan and Jane scenario,” he says easily. “I’d look great in a loincloth, don’t you think?” I was in love with this book, so many memorable and lovable characters.

Baseball has never been sexier in an all-new novel by New York Times Bestselling Author, K. Bromberg. Easton Wylder is baseball royalty. The game is his life. His passion. His everything. So, when an injury threatens to end Easton’s season early, the team calls in renowned physical therapist, Doc Dalton, to oversee his recovery. Except it’s not Doc who greets Easton for his first session, but rather, his daughter, Scout. She may be feisty, athletic, defiant, and gorgeous, but Easton is left questioning whether she has what it takes to help him. Scout Dalton’s out to prove a female can handle the pressure of running the physical therapy regimen of an MLB club. And that proof comes in the form of getting phenom Easton Wylder back on the field. But getting him healthy means being hands-on. And with a man as irresistible as Easton, being hands-on can only lead to one thing, trouble. Because the more she touches him, the more she wants him, and she can’t want him. Not when it’s her job to maintain the club’s best interest, in regards to whether he’s ready to play. But when sparks fly and fine lines are crossed, can they withstand the heat, or is one of them bound to get burned?

New York Times Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy, and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines, and damaged heroes who we love to hate and hate to love. A mom of three, she plots her novels in between school runs and soccer practices, more often than not with her laptop in tow. Since publishing her first book in 2013, K. has sold over one million copies of her books and has landed on the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists over twenty-five times. In April, she’ll release The Player, the first in a two-book sports romance series (The Catch, book 2, will be released late June), with many more already outlined and ready to be written. Easton is one cocky man, “that means you can carry on thinking about whatever you were thinking about me and not get embarrassed, since I won’t be sitting two feet from you.” Easton has manners, he knows when to use please, and thank you, “will you shut up, please?” He laughs against my lips. “You’ve been fighting this kiss all day long, and I practiced restraint like you told me to do . . . but right now? Right now, I’m going to kiss you senseless, Scout, and I want to effing enjoy it. So, for the love of God, woman, use those lips of yours on me and not on words.” I must have not read the blurb correctly, apparently this is a duet, and yes that means a cliffhanger, but I honestly didn't find it bad, I mean we are left hanging with our jaws open but to me it's where the characters are at, and I was pleased by where they were at, unless I missunderstood something. I enjoyed this book, I really liked it a lot.
