Toxic by HJ Bellus & Kathy Coopmans

Alex loves shower his woman with compliments, “you look good underneath me, baby. Bet you’ll look perfect on top." Alex is all for making his lady's fantasies come to lught just on his terms, “possibly. Might have to borrow the family jet for that one. Nobody touches or sees what’s mine.” I loved this book, like Alex was such a hard*** to everyone but when it came to Maria the man was putty in her hands. Maria didn't take his crap either she gave it right back to him.

Dirty Defiance by Chelle Bliss & Brenda Rothert

Jude takes offense to others badmouthing his woman, “that girl is my wife, ” I remind him. “The love of my life, actually. You should really watch how you talk about her.” Jude's woman knows how to call him as she sees him, “and I missed my sexy, moody, horse’s *** husband.” I loved this follow up book, I loved seeing how Jude and his girl were holding up.

Bad Night Stand by Elise Faber

Better late than never for Jordan to remember that he had manners, “dance?” He held out a hand. “I should have asked before I went all caveman on you.” There are times Abby thinks her man purposely has selective hearing, “that?” she nearly shrieked. “I admit all of that, and you’re focused on that fact that I love your abs?” I loved this book, it was quite entertaining and the characters were easy to love.

The Duke With the Dragon Tattoo by Kerrigan Byrne

Ash is a very upfront man and expects the same from his woman, “do not lie to me. If you are afraid, show it. If you are in pain, tell me. I might not know, otherwise.” Ash is just so nonchalant about things, “to be fair, most of them tried to kill me first.” I really loved this book, Ash is what you want in a man, a villian (according to him) and mush when it came tot his lady.

Risk by Nora Flite

Pike knows how to bargain, “I'll sign,” he called out to me. “But not until you jump with me.” Pike is quite the surprising man, "unhooking my belt, I enjoyed the way she breathed in at the metallic noise. “I like a good BJ, sure, but there are benefits to a handjob. Let me show you.” I liked this book, I fell in love with Pike.

Chasing Him by Kennedy Fox

If I had to guess I'd say John is staking his claim, “I don’t need you scaring her away and leaving me without help. So don’t hit on my nanny. Don’t flirt with her, ask her out, and don’t you dare eff my nanny.” I don't think John appreciates being teased, "...what the ***l is she thinking wearing that? It barely qualifies as a dress..." According to John there willbe no answering of doors half nekkid (yes I intentially spelled it that way), "John turns the stove off, then sets the spatula down. “Hold up,” he tells me. “Not in that, you aren’t.” I look down and realize I’m not wearing pants. Rolling my eyes..." I loved this book, I can't get enough of these Bishop boys.

“Stick to the rules and you won’t have a problem working for this arrogant, sanctimonious cad.”

The Rules of DNR: How to Survive Working for Cole Lawson

Do Not Emails are meant to be sent to yourself only—never to be re-read or responded to.

Vent about your mean boss and don’t focus on the scruff on his chin. Ignore the butterflies that flutter as he stares back at you and concentrate on his condescending tone.

I wish I’d listened.

I wish I’d never drank my body weight in vodka and sent him a venting email, telling him exactly what I really thought about his Lycra-wrapped package and the way he makes my body hum.

The last thing I needed was to break those DNR rules and send an email to my boss.

Work is about to get a lot more interesting. What have I got myself into?

REVIEW:
Being inside Cole's mind is like Christmas for me, you never know what you're going to get out of him, “you’re asking me out on a date?” Her eyes brighten as her thumb rubs my fingers. Eff she’s cute." Letty often times gets distracted, "I continue to watch him towel himself dry. He doesn’t leave anything to the imagination. My dreams are going to be amazing now. “If you keep looking at my Mini Marsupial, I’ll sort you out right now.” I loved this book, I fell in love with Cole and all the sassiness that was Letty.

Excerpt

I stand and move my laptop to the other side of the desk and shuffle in my chair, tidying around it before watering my bamboo plant. My water bottle is empty, so I walk to the bathroom to refill it; I open the door and freeze.

Oh, my God.

Standing in the opened shower door is a very naked, wet, lean, and did I mention naked, Cole. The water continues to fall across his body and I’m trapped looking at him. How is water not going everywhere? His left arm is up against the wall as his other hand is moving up and down his cock. My pulse quickens and my grip tightens on the doorknob. I stand mesmerised, watching his shoulder muscles move with every stroke.

Holy shit he’s filled out since I saw him shirtless at the beach last. I can’t get over what my fingers ran over last night. He groans and I bite my lip, taking one more peek at his hand and then bum. Yes, it looks even better out of suit pants.

I remember squeezing that.

Okay. Not helping my libido. Time to do something about it.

I step in and close the door, flicking the lock behind me. Cole’s head turns to me, his hand halting, still grasping his hard cock. I run my eyes down his body and lick my bottom lip. I watch his taut muscles as I rest my eyes on his hand. His thumb brushes over the head of his cock and warmth gathers between my thighs.

I want him inside me so badly but his hand enthrals me. I walk towards him and join him in the shower room, closing that door behind me as well. My gaze flicks up to his. Water runs down the back of his head, covering his hot body.

The open doorway makes it almost impossible for me to not join him. But I want to watch him.

“I dare you,” I beg.

“To do what, Letty?” He asks seductively. Luring me in, making me move closer.

“Show me.” I move my hand towards my chest. “I want you to finish.”

“I’ll show you what you do to me.” His voice deepens, his eyes darkening. His elbow tenses. His hand tightens. The head of his cock throbs. He shifts his hand up along his shaft, and my eyes couldn’t leave him if I tried.

MS_SBPR_BT

Moonlight Seduction: A de Vincent Novel from New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout is available NOW!

MoonlightSeduction mm c
The de Vincent brothers are back—and so is the intrigue that surrounds them—in New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout’s sizzling new novel . . .
Nicolette Bresson never thought she’d return to the de Vincents’ bayou compound. It’s where her parents work, where Nikki grew up . . . and where she got her heart broken by Gabriel de Vincent himself. Yet here she is, filling in for her sick mother. Avoiding Gabe should be easy, especially when so much of Nikki’s time is spent trying not to be stabbed in the back by the malicious hangers-on who frequent the mansion. But escaping memories of Gabe, much less his smoking-hot presence, is harder than expected—especially since he seems determined to be in Nikki’s space as much as possible.
Gabriel spent years beating himself up over his last encounter with Nikki. He’d wanted her then, but for reasons that were bad for both of them. Things have now changed. Gabe sees more than a girl he’s known forever; he sees a smart, talented, and heartbreakingly beautiful woman . . . one who’s being stalked from the shadows. Now, Gabe will do anything to keep Nikki safe—and to stop the de Vincent curse from striking again.

REVIEW:
Gabe just doesn't understand what's going inside his woman's mind at times, "what the ***l? “I don’t give a da*n about the flowers. Are you okay?” Nikki is quite the little firecracker, “then how about your clean your apartments then?” Surprise parted his lips. “I mean, you are a grown man who is more than capable of changing his own bed sheets and picking up after himself,” she snapped..." Gabe holds back no punches, "he tilted his head. “Yes. I was going to say eff, but having *** sounds more . . . tame.” Gabe is just so honest, “I woke up early and couldn’t fall back to sleep. I was thinking about Saturday night, about how amazing my ***k felt against your ***.” Just like the first book in the series, I fell in love with this one. I missed these men and I can't wait for Devlin's book.

Excerpt:
He moved forward, maybe a foot or two, but stopped like one would if they were approaching a rabid dog. A heartbeat passed. “Your hair . . .” He tilted his head to the side. “It’s different.” “Yeah, it is.” Her hair used to be a rather dull medium brown, but then she found this amazing hair stylist in Tuscaloosa and turned her brown hair into this array of blondes and browns, using some weird technique called balayage. “It’s basically just highlights and stuff.” “Stuff.” His gaze flickered over the bun. Uncomfortable, she scanned the kitchen. “And my hair is longer. A lot longer.” His brows lifted. Was she really telling him the length of her hair? This was the most strained conversation she’d ever had in her life. And that was, well, it was sad. She peeked at him. It used to not be this way. Back before . . . well, before she ruined everything, he’d be teasing her and asking about her college. He’d be talking to her like he could actually stand being in the same room with her. She needed this conversation to be over like it was yesterday and she also needed to figure out how she could work here and not run into Gabe. The house was big enough that it should be possible. “I need to get back to—” “Planting your face against the over door?” Her shoulders slumped. “Actually, I need to finish the potatoes. So, if you’ll excuse me.” She started to turn away, praying that he’d just leave. “That’s it? That’s all you have to say to me? Because I have a lot I need to say to you,” he said. “Never in a million years did I think I’d see you here again.” Nikki’s spine stiffened like steel had been poured into it. Oh God. Her throat spasmed. “We need to talk.” “No we don’t,” she said quickly. “We do not need to talk about anything.” “Bullshit,” he snapped, and his voice was so much closer that she turned to him on instinct. Gabe was now at the edge of the massive island, only two or three feet from her. She stepped back into the counter. Her heart thundered in her chest as her gaze flicked to the kitchen door. “No one is coming near here,” he said as if reading her mind. Her gaze flew back to his. “Dev is in his office on the second floor, in a meeting and your father is out with the landscaper. No one is going to hear us.” A weird mixture of sensations assaulted her. One was a chill that skated down her spine. The other was a tight, hot shiver that danced over her skin. Gabe kept coming at her, not stopping until he was right in front of her, separated by a few inches. She sucked in air, catching the crisp, clean scent of his cologne. It reminded her of storms, of that night. That was the last thing she wanted to be reminded of. Like his brother, he was a good head and then some taller than her, so right now, her eyes were fastened to his chest. Thank God he was wearing a shirt. “I . . . I don’t want to talk,” she managed to say. “I do.” “Gabe—” “You owe me this.” Her body jerked as she pressed her lips together. He was right. She owed him a conversation. “Okay.” There was another beat of silence and then he asked in a voice so low she almost didn’t believe she heard him right. “Did I hurt you that night?”

Wolf's Mate by Katie Reus & Savannah Stuart

Hudson is just a tad possessive, “call it whatever you want. I don’t like any of my packmates getting too close to you. I only want my scent on you.” There are times you just can't argue with Hudson's logic, “I told you I was a lot less civilized than you thought.” There was no use fighting it anymore. “And you’re mine. Which means I get to take care of you.” I liked this book, I fell in love with Hudson.

One More Moment by Samantha Chase

Julian can move fast when he wants too, “I was kind of hoping that would motivate you to lose your shirt,”Charlotte said, looking down at him with a smile that was sexy and very pleased with herself. Julian whipped the shirt off and tossed it over his shoulder." Charlotte sometimes has to explain the facts of life to her man, “again,” she began and slowly pulled her hand from his, “I’m not asking you to buy me anything, Julian. That’s not the problem. The problem is that I have a job and responsibilities and I can’t just take off on a moment’s notice.” And still he looked a little befuddled." I liked this book, I fell in love with Julian.

Royal Rogue by Jessica Peterson

Charlie does have some sort of morals, “you kiss like you play blackjack, princess. Ruthlessly. Of course I want to come in. Which means I need to go. Tomorrow—tell me you’re free.” I really liked Jane's attitude, “oh, we’re definitely going to bed, farm boy,” she replied. “But first I want to try one of these sandwiches. They’re all your mum’s recipes?” Charlie plants some good idea in his woman's head, "...her hand creeping dangerously close to my crotch. “Happy,” I said, leaning in. “And horny. I say we own our title and take a little bathroom break.” I liked this book, I really loved Charlie.

REVIEW:
For the first few chapters I kept thinking speak up Eve voice your opinions and when she finally did I was praising the choir, it's like you go girl, “God, I wish you’d do less thinking.” Her voice was turning sharp. “Every time you do, you come up with an idea of what you think I want, and it couldn’t be further from the truth.” mMax sometimes takes the caveman approach, "his eyes briefly dropped down my body, and then they came right back. “Man, you’re effing gorgeous.” You know once Max got his head out of his butt I found him to be quite enjoyable. I really liked this book, I loved that Eve could stand on her own two feet and not have to rely on a man.

REVIEW:
Callie just loves her students, “little effnutters don’t know who the h**l they’re dealing with,” I growl." Garrett is learning that kids like to over share things, “I can sprint home in ten, do the deed, and be back here in fifteen.” Apparently, DJ s***s as fast as he runs— there’s something I could’ve gone my whole da*n life without knowing." Garrett is crude at times, "I roll over. “Wait, let me check.” I slide my hand into my pants, cupping my junk. “Yeah, I still have a ***k. Why would shopping cheer me up?” Garrett always looks at the bright side of things, "Callie and I hit the grocery store together— because even something as boring as grocery shopping is better if I can look at Callie’s *** while doing it." I loved this book, there was so much heart in it. Garrett was entertaining with his thoughts and Callie was just the ying to his yang.

High school parking lots are one of the most dangerous places on earth. I don’t have statistics to back that up…but I know it’s true. I pull into the school parking lot Monday morning in my Dad’s giant, newly repaired mint-green Buick, with Back in Black by AC/DC blasting from the speakers. I feel tough, powerful—like I’m driving a tank. I’m a badass teacher—I’ll run you down even if you’re a student—I’ve got twenty-nine more in class just like you. The outfit helps too—leather boots, blue jeans, a starched white blouse and a black leather jacket. It’s my armor. The morning air is cool and crisp today, but I barely feel it. I’m locked and loaded and ready to roll. As I march towards the main entrance, I spot Garrett and Dean and Alison Bellinger outside the doors. They pause when they see me, waiting. “Damn,” Dean chuckles. “Callie’s got her shit-kickers on. Did you dig them out of a mosh pit from 1993?” Garrett crosses his arms. “Somebody’s channeling Michelle Pfiefer in Dangerous Minds.” He looks fantastic. His hair is tousled from the breeze and kisses his brow, and he’s wearing a dark blue sweater that’s snug around his biceps and soft, worn, light blue jeans. I remember his arms around me yesterday on my parent’s porch. The wonder and exhilaration of the moment. Of him. The intensity in his eyes, the desire and possessiveness in the grasp of his hands. The scorching feel of his mouth, his wet talented tongue that made my stomach swirl and my head spin. So much for not complicating things. But I’m not going to play head games with myself or Garrett—we’re too old for that shit. I have feelings for him—I always have—our break-up had nothing to do with either of us not wanting each other desperately. But these aren’t just leftover echoes of a sweet, first love—this is something new. A throbbing, breathless attraction to the amazing man he’s become. I want to be near him. I want to know him, inside and out, all over again. And he feels the same way. Garrett wants this version of me as much as he always did—maybe even more. I heard it in his whispered words and felt it in his kiss. I don’t know if we have a future, if it can go anywhere. We have separate lives on opposite ends of the country. But I’m not going to worry about that—for now, I’m going to take each day as it comes and enjoy every moment we can. Except for now. Now is not the time for enjoying or worrying or relationship building…now is the time for focusing. Now is the time to be ice and steel—don’t smile, don’t waver. “Little fucknutters don’t know who the hell they’re dealing with,” I growl. Allison pumps her fist. “That’s the spirit.” Garrett opens the door for me. “Go get ‘em, Gangster’s Paradise.”

REVIEW:
I love how Mak doesn't mope about Declan's actions, the girl gets even, "...her eyes narrowed behind her horn-rimmed glasses. She slid my drink toward me with enough force that it hit my hand and sloshed half of it over the rim and directly into my lap. The guys burst out into guffaws as I grabbed napkins to wipe the beer off my lap. “Whoops, sorry. I must have been lost in your eyes and got distracted.” She made a poor attempt at stifling her smirk." Declan is a very goal orientated man, “give me twenty minutes, and we’ll get to work on finishing that box.” His voice was laced with sleep already." I liked this book, Declan and Mak made a good team.

Brandon is just a really thoughtful man, “dig in. I got plenty of everything, so feel free to eat as much as you like. KFC is the effing bomb when you first get it, but it doesn’t exactly make for the best leftovers. And there are starving kids in China and all that, so we can’t throw **** away. Eat, woman.” Brandon may be corny, but he's genuine, “as a heart attack, baby. I want to be able to call you mine. And I want to know that I’m yours. So, I say we make this official..." I loved this book, Brandon went all out to show his woman how special she was to him.
