Glam Squad & Groomsmen by Samantha Chase

Sometimes it doesn't take much to make Spencer's day, “I wasn’t planning on anything spectacular,” she blurted out. “Just some Chinese takeout if… if you’d like to join me.” The look of pure pleasure on his face..." The man is always assuring Penny, "Spencer hugged her closer and gave her a loud, smacking kiss. “I don’t think you have to worry. Our romp in the dressing room was full of cardio.” I liked this book, I fell in love with Spencer.

Man Enough by Nicole Snow

Rex likes to just put it all out there, “oh, I’m up for the task, Cupcake, don’t worry.” Again, that name. One brow arches as he grasps the edge of the door and eyes me up and down. “I’m up for a lot of things. Just sayin'.” Now normally Rex isn't bashful, or nervous but there are times when his hand gets caught in the cookie jar, "the old man’s been behind us for God only knows how long, and must've seen the way I’m practically butt-effing his granddaughter, fully-clothed or not." I loved this book, I loved how growly Rex was.

Emma sometimes has to coax her man into things, “you’re the hottest man I’ve ever seen.” Emma breathes these words into my mouth, as she leans down to kiss me again. My hands tighten their grip on her waist. “And you’re the biggest man I’ve ever been with. Really, really huge.” Fraser gives his woman compliments when she does something really fascinating, "...Fraser says something that sets all the hairs on the back of my neck rising. “That was the sexiest effing thing I’ve ever seen.” His voice is little more than a growl, his gaze molten." I really liked this book, I loved Fraser.

It is truth universally acknowledged, that a single woman in possession of a dead-end job, shoebox studio apartment, and zany, intensely loyal friends, must be in want of a man.
But in my wildest dreams, I never expected that man to remember me selling overpriced KoolAid in my Rainbow Brite underpants when I was six years old. Life is unpredictable.
Fraser Drake was the least sexy boy when we were growing up: all elbows and knees and khaki pleats and debate club. But right now, in my mother's kitchen, he's never looked hotter, more irresistible. Granted, he's looking down on me as I expertly dance the sock hop scene from Grease. But behind those layers of haughty indifference, I detect the hint of lust.
He is everything I never knew I wanted. Since I met him, my feet haven't touched the ground and my smile hasn't left my face. His laugh is like a well-aged scotch, and I have a feeling I could get drunk on it.
If a Pride and Prejudice/Bridget Jones’s Diary mash-up but with more sex, sexual tension, and sexy sex, sounds good to you, you've come to the right place.
Fraser was looking like a granite block of control before; at my words, he’s still got that chiseled expression, but it’s wonderful to see the light come back into his eyes. The hot, sexy light smoldering in those (warm, brown) eyes that are set in that (handsome, sculpted, take-me-now) face is enough to melt any woman’s heart. And panties.
“Thank you.” He gathers me against him, and kisses me. The first brush of lips is a quick reassurance, almost sweet. Then, the second time, it becomes deeper and slower. The heat turns up as he gathers a fistful of my hair, pulling my head back. I gasp, grazing his lower lip with my teeth. His whole body vibrates with that. We kiss again, falling deeper and deeper into each other. I start pulling at his tie, and have it off in seconds. He slides out of his jacket, which falls to the floor. Don’t worry, all my sweatpants and discarded bras will keep it company.
I really should clean up more. But not right now. Right now, sex is all I can think about, and clothes just get in the way of sex. It’s math.
Fraser stills as I unbutton his shirt, giving myself a glimpse of that rock hard, sculpted physique that I find I happily can’t get enough of. I’m like Pavlov’s dog now: whenever someone takes a shirt off, I start drooling.
I had to try to curb that last time Fraser and I had sex. It almost got awkward.
With my help, Fraser strips off his dastardly shirt in a matter of seconds. I shiver as my fingers play up the contours of his abs, his chest. I trail my touch down the steel and silk muscles of his arms. Holy shit, this man must work out a ton.
And to that I say: huzzah.
“I’m feeling a bit more exposed than you,” Fraser whispers in my ear, kissing down my neck. In a flash, he helps pull my shirt over my head, and a second later, I slide out of my work skirt. Now in only bra and panties, I gasp as Fraser picks me up. My legs straddle his waist as he carries me to the bed, and lays me down…on top of more crinkling cellophane.
“How many Doritos do you consume in a week?” His eyes stay molten as he says it, the desire in his voice never losing its edge. Apparently snacking is the most erotic thing on the planet. Lucky, lucky me.
“Some of these are Fritos,” I whisper back.

Someone is ringing my fucking doorbell. I was at the hospital until the wee hours, I was finally in a deep, lovely sleep, and someone is ringing the bell.
All I know for sure is, this had better not be the damn door-to-door people trying to sell me a vacuum. Or a magazine. Or Jesus.
I wrap my robe around me, stumbling toward the door. I pull it open and am surprised to find an excited Sadie and a ridiculously sexy Brad standing at my door.
“Is that coffee?” I ask.
“For you,” he confirms and holds it out to me.
“Come to mama,” I mutter and take it from his hand, taking a grateful sip. Sadie brushes past my leg, into the house, and curls up on my couch.
“She’s not supposed to be on the furniture,” Brad says.
“My house, my rules,” I reply and take another sip of the one thing in this world I’m addicted to, and give him a once over from head to toe. “You look like you got about as much sleep as I did.”
“Rough night?” he asks without confirming or denying.
“Babies,” I reply with a shrug. “You?”
He just shrugs. “Are you going to ask me in?”
“Sure.” I back up and gesture him into the room. “Sorry, I was sleeping pretty good. My energy level is about equal to a sloth on Xanax.”
“I can leave and let you go back to bed.”
His eyes roam up and down my body, reminding me that I’m just in a robe and nothing else. His green eyes are hot, and every muscle in his body is tight.
Even sleep deprived, I can tell when a man is in the mood.
“You’ve brought me coffee. I’ll never kick you out when you’ve done that.”
“I’ll remember that,” he says with a chuckle.
“Besides, I have plenty of room.” I turn and walk into my bedroom, glancing behind me to see that he’s following me. He makes a hand gesture at Sadie, which I assume means stay. “We can take a nap,” I suggest.
His lips twitch, but he doesn’t say anything when he joins me next to the bed. He takes my coffee and sets both of our cups on the bedside table.
“Is that what you want, Hannah?” he murmurs and skims his fingertips down my arms.
Meet Kristen:
Kristen was born and raised in a small resort town in her beloved Montana. In her mid-twenties, she decided to stretch her wings and move to the Pacific Northwest, where she made her home for more than a dozen years.
During that time, Kristen wrote many romance novels and joined organizations such as RWA and other small writing groups. She spent countless hours in workshops, and more mornings than she can count up before the dawn so she could write before going to work. She submitted many manuscripts to agents and editors alike, but was always told no. In the summer of 2012, the self-publishing scene was new and thriving, and Kristen had one goal: to publish just one book. It was something she longed to cross off of her bucket list.
Not only did she publish one book, she’s since published close to thirty titles, many of which have hit the USA Today, New York Times and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists. She continues to self publish, best known for her With Me In Seattle and Boudreaux series, and is also proud to work with William Morrow, a division of HarperCollins, with the Fusion Series.
Kristen and her husband, John, make their home in her hometown of Whitefish, Montana with their two pugs and two cats.

** Other books in the King Series DO NOT have to be read to enjoy Smoke's book. Up in Smoke can be read as a standalone. **

“All these bruises,” Smoke muses. “And not one of them caused by me.” He trails a hand up my arms and down my flat stomach. “Pity, but I still have time to leave my mark on you yet.”   My entire body stiffens. I’m as rigid as a corpse. Smoke chuckles and I’m glad I’m facing away because his laugh is pure torture, causing his erection to vibrate against my folds which are aching for more contact. “You will be punished, hellion. You can be sure of that.” I look over my shoulder and meet his dark eyes which darken even further as his pupils dilate. His lingering gaze rakes me over from my feet to my breasts and back down to the space between my thighs. He licks his full bottom lip. My stomach flips. My will to fight him off doesn’t waiver, but my body isn’t getting the message. My core clenches again. I turn back around to face the tile, digging my teeth into my lower lip until I taste my own blood. His chest presses against my back, and his hardness pulses between my legs, rubbing against my inner thighs. He squirts some shampoo in his hand, working it into my hair. He tilts my head back and rinses my hair then slides his slick and soapy hand down my body. I’m breathing rapidly now. Short quick breaths I can’t control. There’s a deep rumble in his throat. His hand travels lower and lower on my stomach until it’s between my legs. He’s working his thumb over my swollen nub, sending sparks of need, pangs of pleasure, and a wave of self-hatred, surging within my battered body and bruised soul. “What…what are you doing?” I ask, seeing flashes of white hot lust behind my closed eyes. “More questions…” his voice a hearty amused rasp. His fingers circle my clit while he continues to rock his hard cock between my legs. The pressure building is so strong it borders on painful. Tears leak from my eyes. I’m so fucking mad at myself for being turned on. For Smoke being right. I’m so wet. He feels it. There’s no way he can’t feel it.   He leans in close. I’m stone still except for the tremors gripping my body. He licks the tear off my cheek and groans. He dips the tip of his finger inside of me and I tighten around the intrusion. It’s a foreign sensation. Strange. It feels both wrong and right. Pleasurable and painful. “Your tight little pussy is weeping too. I wonder if its tears taste the same.” I look over my shoulder as he withdraws his finger and sucks it into his mouth. He groans. “Fear or desire. They both taste real fuckin’ good to me.” He places his hand back between my legs. When I try to squeeze my thighs together to keep him out he parts them with his knee on a grunt and begins circling my clit again. This time harder. Faster. I’m staying as still as I can, but when I feel something begin to happen inside my body. The sparks he ignited within me are all crashing together. I can’t hold back. My face scrunches as I try to fight the orgasm fighting its way out, but it’s no use. I can’t fight it. It’s too fucking strong. I’m so fucking close. I arch my back without thinking, pressing my ass against him, begging for more. For what I need to push me over the edge. Smoke hisses. “Oh, what I could do to this beautiful little pussy.” The pleasure builds and builds as he strokes me harder. Faster. I’m about to come all over his fingers when the feeling is lost. I spin around. Smoke is gone. I can’t see through the steam so I shut off the spray and wipe the water from my eyes only to see Smoke toweling off in front of the sink on the other side of the bathroom. The only proof I have of what just happened between us was real is his cock. Erect. Thick. Huge. The purplish swollen head bobs against his abs, jutting out over the top of the towel he wraps around his waist. “What…what just happened?” I stammer, leaning back against the wall for support. Smoke steps forward, and when I go to jerk back, he reaches out and pinches my nipple painfully hard. I yelp and leap back, slipping on the tile, falling on my ass, taking the shower curtain down with me. Smoke rips the curtain off my head and glares down at me with a triumphant grin on his evil beautiful face. “What just happened was called punishment and you got off easy. Next time I’ll split that tight pussy in two with my fucking cock.” He goes to leave but stops. “You want pain?” he asks. “I’ll give it to you. You want pleasure? Now that’s something you’re gonna have to earn.”   He leaves, slamming the door behind him. I release a shaky exhale. I’d hoped the rest of my time with Smoke would be tolerable, but there’s no fucking way that’s going to happen. Not now. Not with my skin crawling with need. I’m losing my mind. About where I am. About what this is all about. About this beautiful horrible evil man. I feel like I’ve already been split in two. What Smoke is doing to me is far more than punishment. It's  pure fucking torture. Definite by Kaylee Ryan

Tristan can recognize his flaws, “you okay?” I ask. I’m a ***k for not checking on her sooner, but darn, this is all-consuming." Tristan likes to give his woman a head's up on things, "I stick my tongue out at him like a child. “I have plans for that later.” He wags his eyebrows at me." I liked this book, I loved Tristan the man just had a big heart and was mush when it came to his woman.

What Are You Afraid Of? by Alexandra Ivy

Griff knows how to give his woman that awe in her life, "Griff stepped closer, watching as her face softened with shocked pleasure at the sight of the gold bracelet with antique charms that was nestled into the ivory satin. “Oh, Griff.” She lightly touched a charm in the shape of a seashell with a dusting of tiny diamonds. “It’s perfect.” Griff likes to be honest, “it wasn’t,” he assured her in a gruff voice. “I’ve endured more restless nights and cold showers since I met you than I have in my entire life.” I liked this book, I loved Griff.

Hunters' Watch Brigade: Initiation by Paula Millhouse

Max takes his duties to Sam very seriously, “not that I’ve identified yet,” Max said, his voice steady, purposeful. “But I’m watching you.” I liked Sam girl knew how to manage her father, “easy, Dad.” She looked up toward the surface. “Good gods. You could cause an earthquake with that thing. Tidal waves. Typhoons.” Sam could be quite cheeky, “does this something have something to do with making love? Because if not, I’m really not interested,” Sam said. He smacked her bottom playfully..." I loved this book, I fell in love with Max, these characters were memorable, and you just wanted the secondary characters to get books of their own.

RELEASE REVIEW: Pitch His Tent by Jordan Marie & Jenika Snow

She’s my best friend’s little sister and completely off limits.
But I’m not going to stop until she’s mine.

I pushed Lexi away years ago.
I’ve regretted it every moment since, but a man can’t live in the past forever.
I decided to go camping to clear my head and plan my future—a future without Lexi.
Imagine my surprise when she’s already there.
Lexi knows nothing about camping, that much is clear.
That’s okay, I’ll use it to my advantage.
I have a second chance and I’m not going to waste it.
First, I’ll share my sleeping bag with her and eventually I’ll teach her exactly how to…
Pitch My Tent.

Warning: They’re back! Jenika Snow and Jordan Marie have teamed up to bring you another hot little number. This time they’re taking you out into the wilds. But don’t worry, the only thing attacking here is a hero alpha with his eyes set on his woman. A guaranteed safe read that is hot enough to melt your Kindle. It may not teach you how to survive in the wilderness, but if you read closely you might learn the correct way to anchor those tent poles.

Beau is just all growly and I loved it, “I’m not a boy like you’re used to dealing with, Lexi. I’m a man. You shouldn’t tease a man— we might bite back,” Beau likes to treat his woman right, “fixing you some breakfast,” I tell her with a smile. “Come over here and give your man a kiss.” I liked this little novella, it's a quick read to get you through a funk of wanting the dirty bits but not wanting a big book.

“You should be careful who you flash your tits to, buttercup,” I growl, turning around just as she’s pulling my jogging pants over her ass. I glance at her once more, seeing her bent over, my gaze now glued to the way the material slides over her tanned, firm hips. Hips that I’ve dreamed of holding onto, bruising with my fingers as I sink inside her tight little body.
I may not survive tonight. My dick is so hard that my jeans are suffocating the damn thing.
“It’s you, Beau. We’re both adults like you said,” she says with just enough sass that I want to smack her hard on the ass and leave my handprint. My dick is dripping; I can feel the pre-cum on the head—that’s how fucking close I am to coming. Lexi has no idea what she’s playing with.
I move up to her, and I can’t stop smiling. My clothes dwarf her. There should be nothing sexy about the way my shirt hangs off of her or how she’s holding the material at her waist to keep my sweats on her sweet ass. But I don’t think I’ve seen a woman look better. I reach over and grab a towel I had lying on my cot, and hand it over to her. Then I move my hands down to hold over the one she has clenched, holding her pants on.
“Are you having fun teasing me, Lexi?” I ask, not bothering to hold in the growl that leaves me. I know it’s not my imagination when I hear the way her breath rushes from her lips. I grab the waistband of the sweats, her skin warm against my fingers. I begin folding them down, and cinching them to make them tighter against her stomach.
“I think I am,” she whispers, and her gaze is clouded with desire. I’d have to be a fool not to see it.
“I’m not a boy like you’re used to dealing with, Lexi. I’m a man. You shouldn’t tease a man—we might bite back,” I warn her and I turn her around gently so her back is to me now.
“I doubt you could dish out anything I couldn’t handle, Beau,” she says and she’s putting on a good front, but her voice is threaded with need and as I move my hand down her back, she shivers—and I’m pretty fucking sure it has nothing to do with the cold.
I move even closer to her, and I let my hands brush against the plush cheeks of her ass before they rest on each of her hips. I’m the one testing her now, seeing how far she’ll let me go. My body is against hers now, and when she tries to move away from me, I assert pressure on her, not letting her.
“No,” I say in a low rumble that seems to vibrate through me.
“What are you doing, Beau?” she asks, her voice tender.
“I’m just drying your hair, Lexi. That’s okay, isn’t it?” I whisper against her ear. I have no fucking doubt in my mind she knows I’m not really trying to dry her damn hair.

RELEASE REVIEW: The Librarian's Vampire Assistant by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

The Librarian's Vampire Assistant

Mimi Jean Pamfiloff
From New York Times Bestseller, Mimi Jean Pamfiloff
comes a Horribly Sunny Mystery, The Librarian’s Vampire Assistant.
NOBODY MESSES WITH HIS LIBRARIAN. . . Who killed Michael Vanderhorst’s maker? It’s a darn good question. But when the trail brings Michael to hellishly sunny Phoenix, Arizona, his biggest problem soon becomes a cute little librarian he can’t seem to stay away from. He’s never met a bigger danger magnet! Even her book cart has it out for her. And is that the drug cartel following her around, too?  “Dear God, woman! What have you gotten yourself into?” Things go from bad to worse when local vampires won’t play nice. Can this four-hundred-year-old vampire keep his librarian safe and himself out of hot water? Can he bring his maker’s killer to justice? Yesterday, he would’ve said yes. But yesterday, he didn’t have a strange connection with a librarian. Yesterday, people weren’t trying to kill her.

Michael sure has sime interesting conversations with his friends, nothing is off topic, “Miriam’s breasts have nothing to do with this. I’ve never even looked at them.” Michael sure has some high hopes about himself, "I am a god in the sack— a relentless lover, skilled in the art of delivering intense pleasure—" I liked this book, no naughty bits I was a little sad about that but Michael's personality made up for it, he had a bright personality, I mean not like happy go lucky although he sometimes was but like his personality really shined.

Naked and ready for me. You’re the sexiest effing thing I’ve ever seen.” I loved this book, it was such a fun read I fell in love with Gabe.

RELEASE REVIEW: Thief by A. Zavarelli

Title: Thief
Series: Boston Underworld #5

I’m a good girl.

I live by a code that can’t be bent or broken. It is my duty to my family to stay innocent and pure. To marry an Italian man. The stars are already aligned.

But Nikolai Kozlov re-writes my destiny with five simple words.

You belong to me now.

He's Russian mafiya. A thief. A skilled liar with no moral boundaries. He is everything I have been taught to hate. A man who stands for nothing. A man who takes what he wants without a second thought.

And what he wanted was me.

He thinks he controls my fate, but what he doesn’t know is, sometimes it’s the good girls you have to watch out for.

I’m a dangerous man.

I live by a code. The Vory code. It is my duty to my family to protect the brotherhood. To destroy anyone who threatens what we stand for, including her.

She’s a dancer. A beautiful little doll. My prisoner, and my new favorite puppet. This mafia princess thinks she has me under her spell, but in the end, she is simply collateral.

It’s a shame to destroy precious things.

Nikolai can be a cruel man but personally I think he doesn't like being that way, especially toward his girl, but sometimes his girl needs that even if she doesn't think it she needs that firm hand, “you should always be sore from my ***k,” he declares. “You should always remember who owns you.” I really liked this book, it did have some harsh moments but you can tell that the men in this series are devoted to their women.

The first thing I always notice about a person is their posture. I was raised to believe that good posture conveys good manners, as well as respect for those around you. Nikolai carries his posture like a casual ‘f#ck you’ to everyone around him. There is no decorum in his leather jacket, jeans, or his haphazardly laced motorcycle boots. Everything he wears is black, but the small glimpse of skin beneath is a riot of colors. Tattoos cover every inch of his exposed skin, including his throat.
I’m not sure which is more offensive- the ink or the faux hawk atop his head. This is not the way you attend a ballet, nor is he the type of man I expect my father to keep company with.
“Tanaka.” He reaches for my hand and kisses it in a way that few men would ever dare to do in my father’s presence. “You dance beautifully.”
The words are unmistakably accented. Russian. And I’m struggling to maintain my composure while making sense of this situation. My father has always been protective of me. His own men know better than to speak to me or look at me, but for this stranger, somehow, it’s okay.
My manners, at least, are still intact, so I reply as I should. “You’ve seen me dance?”
Nikolai flashes a boyish smile in contrast to the deepness of his blue-green eyes. “I like to invest my time in the arts.”
