Samson's Lovely Mortal by Tina Folsom

Samson that vampire is just so damn sexy, "I guess I'll have to keep feeding you. I don't want anybody to start a rumor that I don't feed my quests. Nobody is going to leave my company hungry. For anything." The boy is just, he's just all messed up, or I should say certain body parts, "no, we wouldn't want to miss anything." The husky tone in her voice told him she wasn't talking about the play. Samson felt his pants tighten instantly. This was not the time to have another erection. But alas, he had no control over it. Better to hide in the dark of the theater." The boy is sensitive when it comes to others get a view of his woman, "in lighting speed, Samson spun around to shield Delilah from Ricky's view. "Get the eff out, Richard!" he growled low and dark." Even unconscious he doesn't want others touching what's his, "reluctantly she got out of bed. She felt dizzy when she suddenly stood. Her body swayed, and Amaury instantly grabbed her. A low growl came from the bed. Both she and Amaury turned their heads to look at Samson. He was seemingly still asleep, but his fangs were showing. Amaury instantly let go of Delilah's arm. Samson's fangs retreated, and his lips closed. "He can sense you even in his sleep. He doesn't like you being touched by another man." I can tell I'm going to love the vampires of this series.

Iron Sinners by HJ Bellus

This book is very different from HJ's other books, and if a book can make me want to kick the male lead in the nuts then the author has surely done their job. When I looked at Grizz I really saw a lost little puppy not knowing who to believe, and battling his demons but there was always one thing that stayed true about him throughout the whole book and that was his fierce protectiveness of Piper, "Piper girl, that is one promise I can make you. I'll effing kill anyone that tries to hurt you." Piper she was different from HJ's other female leads the girl had no filter, and she was just a joy to read, sometimes in order to get Grizz's attention the girl needed to cause him a little pain, "I can no longer take the sheer torture of just having his tongue inside me, sitting up, I pull him by the hair to get his attention. "Ah eff, Piper, that hurts." It's obvious that right from the start the boy has got some serious feelings for Piper, "I swear the effin sh** is going to kill me off with her feisty a** attitude or because of the raging boner I seem to pop around her." Grizz is slowly learning the way of compromising, "no, I don't. You can call my Grizzy or biker boy in private, but call my bi*** one more time and I'll shove my c*** up your a** and eff you hard." I would seriously love it if Digger could get a book, and I think the ending really isn't a cliffhanger but it's left open for future books.

Alive by Beth Maria

Even though the book was about Maisie and Jesse I kinda need to demand that a book be written for Chloe and Jake, because in all honesty I was more interested in what was going on with them than Maisie and Jesse. Don't get me wrong I loved reading the book, I was just more into the secondary characters. Jesse he is just so damn cocky, "Maisie, you can let go now. We're here," Jesse says, smiling at me over his shoulder. God, his smile is so beautiful. After I unwrap my arms from around his torso, I jump off the motorbike and unclasp the helmet. "What's with the sad face? You'll be able to put your arms back around me in a few hours. Don't worry, darling." He's also completely honest when it comes to his feelings for his girl, "no, baby, you've done nothing wrong. If I look at you right now, we will never leave this room. I will eff you all night long, until you can't walk anymore. That, baby, is the reason I can't look at you right now. I'll see you downstairs. I need something to take my mind off my dirty thoughts right now. Maybe cutting some vegetables will help." As I said I enjoyed reading this book I just want Jake and Chloe's more.

Yield to Me by Sarah Castille

I have to say between the innuendos and the heat between Jax and Marcy this is the naughtiest book Sarah has written thus far and well I enjoyed every minute of it, and especially that first encounter with the two characters, "on your back. Legs apart. I'll mount you and take the dominant position." She startled at his abrupt command, and heat flooded her veins, pooling between her thighs. Flustered at her body's unexpected response to words she heard every day in practice," Jax he's a total dominant you can get that feeling from how he walks, acts, and talks, "wrong." He cupped her cheek, tracing along the curve of her jaw with his thumb, burning a trail across her skin, his gaze intent, focused. "I came to set things right between you and Reid and convince you to train with me, and yet somehow I wound up asking you out for dinner. But dinner isn't really what I want." I get the feeling the boy isn't really fond of the panties Marcy wears, "eff." Jax slammed her against the door and slide his fingers along the edge of her panties. "You got any sentimental attachment to these?" Sometimes the boy has to find a way to convince his woman that he loves her, and what better way than show her, "he clasped her hand and skimmed it down his body to the bulge in his jeans. "Definitely hard enough." I love reading Sarah's books because you never know what you're going to get, one minute it can be a semi-sweet story the next a naughty one such as this. I know that she has a reader for life.

Branded by Laura Wright

This book was completely different from what I was thinking and that was an unexpected good thing. The book isn't just about one Cavanaugh brother but all of them, there were times I thought that were were one to many point of views, but I saw how those were setting up the other books in the series. Deacon I did love him and his naughtiness when it came to Mac, "sexual heat flared in his eyes, and he pulled her even closer, up against his rock-hard chest and the now hard co** behind his zipper. "Oh, we'll come together, darlin'. I promise you that." His hands raked up her back to her shoulders, her neck, and into her hair. "But tonight," he growled, "You're the one who's going to be coming..." Sometimes that boy has to compromise when it come to Mac, "his jaw tightened. "Darlin'." he said, grabbing the bouquet of sunflowers he'd brought for her from the seat and thrusting them into her hands. "If I go to this shindig with you tonight, not only will I be thoroughly enjoying each of your bases, I'll be roundin' home a few times as well." I also found that when it comes to Mac that boy sure is needy, "I woke up and you were gone." He swam up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "I didn't like it." I can't wait for the next book in the series because Laura that naughty little girl left us with an ending I didn't like and I just want the next book now.

My Soul for You by Morgana Phoenix

As usual I was enthralled with the writing, and well with that said not many notes or highlights were made BUT the things I did note were very naughty and I LOVED IT!! Where Kaleb is concerned I want to say move over Octavian but I just can't so I now have two leading men in my life. Kaleb is just so damn sexy, "Kaleb," he corrected, reaching past her and stabbing the button with one finger. "I'm about to break every rule in the blasted book. The least you can do is call me by my name." He makes so many yummy promises, "you won't need that." He was in front of her in two long strides. He bent down and tossed her unceremoniously over his shoulder, getting a squeak out of her. "I plan on making sure you stay naked the entire night. Naked and wet." Katie she's so adorable and I loved her to pieces, "she rolled onto her back and peered across the rumpled terrain to the foot of the bed where Kaleb was fastening the buckle on his belt. "You're dress....I mean awake," she corrected quickly, feeling her cheeks warm." Kaleb I just loved he was such a dirty boy, "his lips curved into a lazy grin even as his fingers fisted into the back of her shirt. "Slammed into the closest hard surface and effed you until I was good and satisfied you were completely mine." I really hope that Ashlee and Larson get a little novella they're so cute, and well I want to know what that boy whispers in Ashlee's ear all the time.

Hate to Love You by Elise Alden

After reading the blurb I was a little hesitant at wanting to read the book, but I'm do damn glad I decided to give it a shot I found my self really enjoying the book and wanting to kick James in the nuts every other scene until he straightened his s*** out, and Paisley I was always on her side, she's just like me no filter, "I'm sorry," I said, hand on heart. "I'd rather eff the best man's brains out than have anything to do with the wedding. How's that for honesty, James?" Remember when I said I want to kick James in the nuts every other scene? Well those scene's include him being an a**, "James paused and turned around. "We didn't make love," he said flatly. "We effed. All night long, if I remember. You got my rocks off and I rammed into your cu** so hard you spurted all over my c***. Is that crude enough for you?" The boy did have some positive moments like when he's being protective, "you're not taking Paisley anywhere," James said. "Don't visit her, talk to her or look at her again or you'll deal with me. After that the only people you ever eff will be your fellow inmates." I also enjoyed his territorial moments, "James tightened his arms around me and scowled. "I never want to see you dance with another man the way you did with Tarzan. I've been taking lessons every weekend so you'll dance with me." I also loved how when they got their crap worked out they're a strange couple, but happy:
        "I want you to....to..."
        "What?"
"To plunder me with your swollen manhood," I blurted.
       James paused. "Plunder you?"
I spoke to the ceiling. "With your swollen manhood." His face was perfectly blank. I groaned, shutting my eyes and wishing I'd never read a bodice ripper in my life. "Francesca made me promise not to sweat and it's been bloody hard, okay?"
Even though James and I totally had a love/hate/love relationship I really did enjoy reading this book.

My Kind of Crazy by Katie O'Sullivan

Sometimes I'm in the mood for a sweet romance with some comedy so I was totally pleased when this book tickled my fancy. Jon I loved him there's just no other way to describe how I felt, "Jon cleared his throat. All that Cape Cod Red made it hard to think. Or maybe it was Kendall. "What am I doing? Catching your dog, and ruining my favorite tie in the process, is what I'm doing." I loved how caring he is, "what's going on?" Jon asked. Ken, are you all right? Is anyone hurt?" He went to stand next to her, wanting to protect her from whatever was happening. Both officers stared at him, and Jon heard the puppy barking up a storm behind the closed door." Kendall that girl is always in a great mood after she gets a little loving from her man, "silly puppy." Kendall scooted off the edge of the table onto her feet. She bent to grab her shirt and jeans, and ruffled the fur atop Midget's head. "I didn't forget you. I'll feed you dinner, but leave Jon alone. He's mine." I also noticed that with Jon the little vixen is bold, "sensing his discomfort, her hand slip from his arm to rest in his lap creating even more heat. His erection strained for release. "Be careful there, or I might not be able to control myself." This book was so sweet and I hope it's part of a series because there were a bunch of other characters who I thought deserve a book.

The Chronicles of Moxie by Z.B. Heller

First impressions sure are fun where a drunk Moxie is concerned:
"Hey, you!" I yelled. "Yeah, you with the tight a**. Do you have hairy balls or smooth balls?" I staggered out of the booth towards him.
"Excuse me?" the Adonis said. His ocean blue eyes were gazing back at me and had me breathless. Well, I think it was on pair of eyes. Again, the alcohol was having an impact on me deciphering between human and alien.
"Smooth or hairy? Lay it out for me," I slurred. The room looked like it was starting to sway a bit.
"Umm, last time I checked I didn't think it was appropriate to talk about someone's balls." He smiled, playing along
I mean Miles that boy is just sarcastic as they come, "nah, that's ok. I'm just honored that I could partake in the very important bar poll about hairy balls. I can now die a happy man, knowing that I made a difference in the world." He's totally honest as well, "I don't want anyone else seeing you in this dress because I don't like the idea of anyone looking at how the dress curves around your sweet a**. Or maybe it's the fact that your ti*s stand out as if they are offering anyone to touch them." I mean the boy is just full of dirty thoughts where Moxie is concerned:
"They're shoes, there's not much to imagine." I leaned in to whisper into his ear. "They have feet inside."
He turned his head so our lips almost touched. His eyes turned down to my lips. "I was imagining them swung over my shoulder while I have my head..."
I never laughed so hard in my life reading this book and I loved reading it I need to find more books from this author, I loved their sense of humor.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW: Intercepting Love by L.P. Dover

I love Leslie and her books, and I'm glad she decided to do a sports romance, although I liked this book, I loved her MMA romances she writes the best. Cooper that boy is just a big ole' flirt, "Cooper lifted a brow. "Was it a girl friend or a guy? Please tell me I didn't let you borrow my car to meet up with another man." I was also very surprised that in the heat of some moments the boy could be considerate, "her breathing picked up faster the more I teased her with my tongue and lips. My co** hurt so bad that I had to unzip my jeans to give it space. I wanted to effing bad to make love to her right there on the table, but I knew it wouldn't be comfortable for her." Cooper he is funny when he is trying to coax a gun away from his woman, "Kate, let me have the gun," he said, prying my fingers away from it. When I narrowed my gaze at him, he held up his hands and sighed. "I don't doubt your shooting skills, love, but I'm pretty sure I have more experience. Now let me have the clip." I loved how playful he was when he was with Kate, it made me all ga-ga, "all right, love, you better cheer me on today. Why don't you get out there and dance with the girls," he teased, smacking my a**. "I think you'd be sexy as hell in those little skirts." I really do like the books Leslie writes, they're characters that you fall in love with, and hope for the best.

Climbing Out by Lila Rose

Dee that girl sometimes doesn't know what she's getting into with Griz and that boy knows how to give her a taste of her own medicine, "looking back over at him, my eyes widened as I watched him pull the front of his boxers down and palm his large, hard erection, and then proceeded to masturbate." Sometimes the boy can only hold out for so long, "too late, darlin'. Watching you and your hot body move under my face and fingers had me shoot my load onto the bed like some effin' eager teenager." Also the boy just doesn't care who watches him and his girl when he's horny, "a soft growl erupted from his chest. "Do not eff with me right now or I'll take you on the floor right here and right now. I don't give a eff who watches." He's also always to eager to accommodate his woman, "making a baby. I want this to happen as soon as effin' possible. I cannot wait to fill you up with my seed and for it to stay there to make a miracle." I love this series and it's characters and I must say I'm really intrigued by Travis and Violet and I'm sort of hoping to get a book with them starring in it.

Training Drew by Blue Kincaid

Bas that boy doesn't play around right from the start he sets the rules. "before she could even finish her thought, Sebastian's big hand cracked across her panty-covered a**, sending a shockwave through her. "I don't like whining," he murmured, mouth still nibbling against her nape. "If you want something, Drusilla, ask for it." Drew sometimes (well all the time) doesn't filter what comes out of her mouth, "your bathroom is huge! But, then, so are you." Drew is learning if you want something all you need to do is ask for it and Bas will give it to her, "touch me, Bas. Please." He was across the kitchen in one and a half long-legged strides, his mouth on hers in an instant and his hands...oh yes, his hands were on her, whisking open the buttons of the shirt she wore, shoving it open, baring her to him." I was surprised that our boy had an actual sense of humor, well one of the dirty kind, "his hands flexed on her a** and he groaned,  nodding. "I'm a fan, too," he laughed breathlessly as she gave his length a tight, squeezing stroke. "Eff, Drew, you're not even gonna but my dinner first?" I love how this is a series, but each book is about different characters, and is a stand a lone.

Ransom by Rachel Schurig

I loved how honest Daltrey was, "so I'm freaking out here a little bit, Dais. You haven't seen us perform in more than a year, and after your first concert, you burst into tears as soon as you see me. How should I take that?" I loved that he's protective, "he jumps to his feet. "I want to know who did this, Daisy. Who the eff...what, bullied you? Who was so bad you had to leave school?" But mostly I loved how he treated her, he smiles down at me, the most beautiful, triumphant grin I've ever seen. "We're going to be so good together, Daisy. I've always known it." To me the book started off slow and then started to pick up, and I can't wait for the rest of the boys to get their story especially Cash and Reed.

Falling into the White by Christine Butler

I was pleased to know this wasn't a damn love triangle, there was no cliffhanger (which I was jumping up and down for glee). At first I wasn't sure what team I was on but as I got into the book my sides changed and I'm glad of who I teamed up for. Evan he's changed a lot from book one and I just didn't like that change, "you're sitting here, practically in my lap, and you're texting Mikael." He hissed out, and then looked at me as if I had grown two, very hideous heads. "I can't believe you." Just to state up front with all the quotes I chose it's pretty easy to see what team I'm on and I'll totally give ya'll a hint it ain't Team Evan! Mikael I grew to love him so damn much, "that wasn't luck, it was skill, baby!" I didn't miss the flirty tone he took with me. "Why didn't you answer me when I called out? Too busy checking out the whole package?" And when he's bossy it's so damn sexy, "you're going to wait outside, and stop thinking dirty thoughts." His hand moved down the length of my torso, coming around forward when he reached my thighs, "because I can smell your arousal right now, feel the heat coming off of you in waves, and if we don't get a little distance right now, you're parents are never going to like me again or want me to use that table of theirs. Understand?" His hand stopped short of falling between my legs as he asked his question." I mean Mikael is just freakin' sexy as hell anyway, "do you always unwrap your presents and run away?" Mikael asked as he moved right up to me. He was only inches away when he leaned in, rubbing his scruffy cheek up against mine. "Just in case you were wondering." he whispered seductively into my ear. "I enjoy the chase." Did I mention Jess grew some big ole' balls and learned to stand up for herself? No? Well now I did and I was so proud of that girl, and I just loved her to bits, "stop pouting. We need to get ready, and that's not going to happen if you're in here, naked, with me. I only have so much self-control, and you seem to lost all of yours." Although this is a four book series, if you totally stopped reading the series from here you'd be satisfied with what happened although you will be left wondering what's going to happen to some of the other characters, and whether they'll meet their significant others (Christine knows who I'm talking about in particular.)

Sweet Destruction by Paige Weaver

Right from the start you could tell how protective Cole was of Sam, "you touch her and you won't be able to drink enough alcohol to take away the pain I'll cause you," Walker hissed, getting in his dad's face. "They'll have to lock me up and throw away the key for what I'll do to you. Just one touch. That's all it'll take." I mean Sam is just a bit ole' temptation to him, "her shirt rose just enough, exposing her waist again. I swear my di** was going to pop my jeans open if she didn't stop flashing me with her bare skin." He also tempts her they have a push-pull-want to kill each other type of relationship, "listen, sweetheart," he whispered near my ear. "If I was interested I would do more than just screw with your brain. I would eff you senseless. You wouldn't be able to walk for days. But, you see, there's still this little thing between us that just won't go away. Hate. You can't stand me and... well, I go insane when you're around. It needs to stay that way." He's also a total smarta**, "I leaned toward her, my mouth near her ear. "I know. I'll sleep on the couch. What did you think? That I would eff your brains out with your mom in the same house? Jeez, Sam." He can be so damn passionate as well, "as soon as he was close enough, he grabbed my arms and hauled me against his body. "Walker," I whispered a second before he kissed me, covering my lips with his. He grasped the sides of my head, angling his mouth over mine. Tasting me. Consuming me. Marking me as his." I've read Paige's other books and this one is different from them but I loved it all the same.

Beyond Control by Kit Rocha

Oh Dallas you are such a smarta**, "sometimes she was a little scary when she looked at him like that, and eff if he didn't like it. "I don't know, love. The way you're looking at me, I don't trust you not to your your teeth." The conversations Lex and Dallas have are just dirty:
"That's the funny thing about these collars." She scratched one fingernail over the rough surface of the O'Kane emblem. "Most men put them on women they plan to regularly eff the sh** out of."
His lips twitched. "I put them on women who get off on having me eff the sh** out of them however, wherever, and whenever I want."
Sometimes when you're wrapped around your woman sleep is just overrated, "sleep. It beckoned with a sharpness that only made his growing erection more ridiculous. "I was thinking about it more seriously before you wrapped yourself around me." Dallas that boy says the nicest things, "his pulse throbbed in his ears as he shifted one hand to her hip. "I'm balls-deep in the hottest woman in any sector. Short of slitting my damn throat, you couldn't make it bad." I love this serious it's dirty, and naughty and oh so me.

A Hot Time in Texas by Ann Defee

Rafe is just so damn sweet, "I think you'd look good in anything." Rafe opened an armoire featuring an array of clothing, from swimsuits for kids to trunks for guys. "I'll meet you at the pool in about ten minutes." His gestures are just really gentlemanly, "Rafe slipped his arms around her and took both the potato and the peeler from her hands. At least she wasn't using a knife. He'd acted like a jerk, but panic had a way of erasing all signs of civility. "I was worried about you," he whispered, then kissed her neck. She turned and placed her arms around his neck." Etta she knows what she wants, "I'll tell you what I didn't tell him. Hell, no, you're not going to sleep on my couch or out in your car, my bed is perfectly comfortable. So get ready, big boy." I love reading books that take place in Texas I'm not sure why, I think it has to do with all those country men and their hotness.

An American Girl in Italy by Aubrie Dionne

I thought this book was just a little to sweet for me. I did love Michelangelo's thoughts, "...the embodiment of the all-american girl following him to the tour bus already grated on his nerves. The crazy part was that if she hadn't been so rude, he would have thought her intriguingly attractive." I mean the man is just sex on a stick, "Michelangelo pulled up and leaned over, opening her door for her. His hair was tousled messily, with curly waves reaching around his ears. He'd unbuttoned his shirt as well, giving her a peek at his smooth, hard, tanned chest. A hot image of him lying in bed naked shot through her mind." Carly, that girl isn't afraid to voice things, "she crossed her legs and leaned back in her chair. "Well, I'd very much like to see yours." Heat rushed from Michelangelo's head to his toes. He'd very much like her to see his room as well." As I said the book was a little to sweet and not enough naughtiness but other than that it was an enjoyable read.

Worth the Trade by Kristina Mathews

Marco sure has a smart mouth on him, "unless you have something else planned for me." He raised an eyebrow and flashed one of his dimples. He knew all too well how irresistible that smile was. "Because you own me now. So..." Marco is the type of boy who loves surprises especially if they include Hunter, "he moved her toward the bed. Pulled at the tie around her waist. The robe fell open, revealing the hot pink lingerie he'd had delivered. "Oh, yeah. That's more like it." Marco uttered his appreciation. "Damn. You're beautiful. So, so, beautiful." I love the conversations Hunter and Marco have:
"Yes. I am." He nuzzled her neck, scattering kisses along her skin. Two seconds ago she had been completely satiated, but now desire flooded her and she could devour him again.
"So what is your greatest desire?" She pulled away, needing to put some space between them.
"Besides you?" He leaned back against the headboard. "I want what we all want. The World Series. I want to get you that ring I promised.
I love sports romances, I love the men in them, and I loved this book.

(Once) Again by Theresa Paolo

I love second chance books, and I loved Josh's dirty mind, "she didn't say anything, choosing to flash me an evil glare instead. Too bad for her the only that had an effect on was in my pants. Even in her anger she was gorgeous."  The conversations these two have were sometimes just flat out funny, even when they weren't meant to be funny:
Her arm dropped and the book smacked against her thigh. "I'm not dressed."
"Really? Because if you were naked, I'm sure I would've noticed."
She rolled her eyes again. "I'm not dressed to go out. I look a mess."
I positioned myself in front of her, leaning forward on my crutch so I could place my finger under her chin. "You look beautiful."
They can be so sweet and caring towards one another and then Josh has to go and ruin it, "her hands fumbled with the button on my pants, but when she managed to unzip me, she stopped. "I don't want to hurt you." I wanted to say screw it, just rip those suckers off, but I didn't want anything to happen that would prevent us from reaching home plate. I flipped to my back and carefully removed my pants and boxers. As they passed my hips my erection sprang up and Kat sucked in a jagged breath. "Bigger than you remembered?" I joked." I can't wait to see what Theresa comes up with next.

One Night with a Quarterback by Jeanette Murray

I didn't make too many notes on this book because well, I was to busy paying attention to the story. I loved how upfront Cassie was, "I like you. I want you. I think you want me. So I'm mostly in a hurry to get back to my hotel room and see if you're as funny and good looking naked as you are sitting there eating second dinner." She said it so simply, like she was telling him she wanted another round of pancakes."  And the girl can sure tease Trey, but honestly I don't think the boy minds one bit:
"I don't really feel like wearing your clothes just yet."
              "You don't, huh?"
She stepped out from the circle of the dress, away from the corset. Still in her heels, she easily reached his mouth for a kiss. "I'd rather slip under the covers with you, if you want some company."
I hope Stephen has his turn in a book because he's just a fun loving character.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW: Imperfectly Bad by A.E. Woodward

I’m Rob Ziviani. Oh, you’ve heard of me? Wait, did we? Oh yeah, I remember.
No, that’s a lie, I don’t remember. I’ve had most of New York City and I don’t really remember any of them. There’s only ever been one. . .
This is my story. Read it, don’t read it. I really don’t give a damn. It’s not going to change my life, so why the hell should I care?
Because I don’t care about anything.
Not since her.

I really did love Rob's friends, Tyler especially, "next time you decide to eff your anger out, would you mind doing it a little more quietly?" Tyler asked as I brewed my coffee." So I couldn't decide if I was team Layla or team Jenny, I mean I'm all for second chances and Jenny would have been his second chance with her but as I got to reading I uh...wasn't impressed with her. So I was team Layla, "you try wearing these things all day." She motioned down to her feet, and possibly the sexiest high heels that I had ever seen." I loved the person Rob was when he was with Layla, I loved how because of her he wanted to make a difference within himself, "yeah. And for the first time since you, I find myself opening up to the possibility of being happy. So I really don't need you clouding up my head with your bullsh**." I was so proud of that moment when he told Jenny what was up, I mean I do hope Jenny finds her happiness but quite frankly it ain't with Rob.

Hearts break, souls shatter, love lies in The Space Beyond...

As members of the Phoenix, Jeric and Leni are thrust into their new lives, expected to lead Earth’s Guardians. But Leni struggles with trusting her own soul, and Jeric is more concerned about keeping Leni safe than meeting others’ demands. When Darkness swarms Lake Haven, they embark on their first mission with little preparation and no idea which soul the Dark hunts.

Born and raised in Lake Haven, Bex hopes to escape her small-town life, ideally in the arms of her soul mate. She knows he exists, and her heart aches with the need to find him. When her long-lost mama calls to announce she's knockin' on death's door, Bex reluctantly makes the trip to see the uncaring bitch (bless her heart), only to be knocked off her feet by the sexy and charming Dr. Mason Hayes. Is he really The One?

Leni’s soul felt an instant connection to Bex, but if Bex found her soul mate, she isn’t their mission. So who is, and why does Leni instinctively feel drawn to her? Can Leni even trust her intuition? And will Jeric step up and lead when the time comes or continue to hold them back?

If they don't learn to trust themselves and each other quickly, Darkness will claim them all…along with the rest of Earth’s souls.

When life falls to pieces, answers lie in The Space Between...

Leni Drago can't make a smart decision on her own, according to her mother anyway--the few times she's tried resulted in disaster. When her uncle sends her on a dance tour in Italy to find her real self, she returns to an empty home and any evidence of his existence wiped out. Then things get even stranger, like the mysterious appearances of Jeric Winters--inked, pierced and a hit-'em-and-quit-'em type. He's one decision that should be easy for Leni. Or is he?

Jeric doesn't do girlfriends. Unless they're someone else's. He left the fighting cage and modeling for a reason, and girls who want more than a night of fun are distractions he doesn't need. Especially when they come with as much baggage as Leni carries. But he can't shake the gut feeling that he needs to know her. All of her.

To discover the truth behind their connection and their ties to a journal from 1989, they must face painful secrets from their pasts. And they must do so quickly because their own existences are falling to pieces.

This first part of The Book of Phoenix takes you on a heart-wrenching ride as you discover the answers that lie in The Space Between.

When Darkness threatens, what matters most lies in The Space Within...
Completing a mission that reunites Guardian Twin Flames turns devastating when the Book of Phoenix throws Leni and Brock into a Dark world, leaving Jeric and Asia behind. They count on their other halves to rescue them, but when that doesn’t happen, they must fight through the Darkness and find a Gate that will take them home.

Except all of Earth’s Gates are sealed.

Enyxa, ruler of Darkness, and her horde of Dark souls storm the Gates to push their way through to Earth. While Leni and Brock fight Enyxa on their side, Jeric and Asia must figure out how to save their Twin Flames without jeopardizing all of Earth’s souls. Through it all—and with a little help from Enyxa—Brock and Asia begin questioning their relationship and whether they’re truly meant to be together…or if they’re two Lost souls forced to become one.

If the Broken dyads don’t find each other fast, they’ll be lost to the Dark forever. But to reunite means choosing themselves over all of Earth’s souls. Can Jeric make that decision? And will Brock and Asia find the love they both desperately crave? Or are they all doomed to perpetual Darkness?

Discover how it all ends in The Space Within, the explosive conclusion to The Book of Phoenix trilogy.

I actually focused on the romance aspect of the book (as I do all books) because well I don't have a romantic life and need to live through other peoples, and I have to say one of my favorite couples to live through is Jeric and Leni, I just really loved how passionate Jeric is when it comes to his woman, "the vision of my Twin Flame filled my mind several seconds before her physical self would fill the doorway. I couldn't tell you which was happier to see her - my soul or my di**. Both swelled to greet her." It's also apparent how much Leni has the hots for her man, "she sat on the closed toilet seat, though, and reached behind her for a towel. She stood up to hand it to me, and I couldn't control myself, especially as her sea green gaze raked down my naked body and lingered at my junk. It came to attention with no thought of my own."  It's good to see that someone has self control when it's needed (hint it's not Jeric) "they're on their way right now," she said, before turning and sauntering out of the bathroom, her perfect a** swaying as she pulled the door closed behind her. Damn. The girl would be the death of me. Or at least of my di**. It wasn't used to not getting it's way every single time." I hated the ending, I wasn't expecting it to end that way, okay maybe I was just a tad as there is another book coming but Kristie is just always surprising us with these damn cliffhangers.

BLOG TOUR REVIEWS: Old Town Country Romance by Savannah Young

WILDE RIDERS:
Cooper he's very bossy but gets his point across, "look at me," he insists. I swallow then slowly glance up at him. "I'm not interested in Harley. Is that clear?" Jake I really can't wait for his story because to me the boy is a dog, "Harley's a wild girl, Coop. She does what she wants. And if she wants to do me every once in a awhile, I'm not going to stop her." Riley is a sassy girl:
I place a hand on my hip and glance up at him. "I'd like to know something."
He raises an eyebrow. "Really? What's that?"
"I'd like to know what I'm completely naked and you're still fully clothed."
I loved Cooper and the fact that he wanted to take care of Riley, "when Riley's stomach rumbles we both laugh. "We really need to get you something to eat," I say, as I grab her hand and pull her down the stairs." He has no qualms in voicing his opinions or acting on them, "I'm not going to be able to keep my hands off of you in that outfit. You look incredibly sexy." To my surprise, Cooper grabs my a** and pulls me into him. He's not lying about liking the outfit. He's already hard." There were two characters that really stood out in this story and that was Harley and Jake, lord knows why Savannah is waiting for Jake's story to be last in the series, the girl probably wants to kill me with anticipation, but those two I'm really looking forward to reading about."

THE WILDE ONE:
This one didn't tickle my fancy like book one did. There was just no Omph between Tucker and Gracie, I mean yeah Tucker was like all protective and wanted to make sure she was cared for, "you have to eat more than one piece of toast. Let me just give you a little of everything and if you don't like it, you don't have to eat it. How about that?" Gracie she was just too damn sweet, but she did know what she wanted, "Gracie shakes her head. "I don't want you to go. I want to fall asleep with you inside me." I hope the next two books have more Omph, and well tickles my fancy.

Destiny's Detour by Mari Brown

What a sweet story, and that Troy sure is a passionate one, "after we entered my room, he shut the door. I just made out the sound of the door locking when I found myself thrown up against it and Troy's lips came crashing into mine." Destiny and Troy had so much chemistry and passion before they started dating it's no wonder they didn't explode:
We turn to walk away and I'm not surprised when Troy yells, "Destiny, baby! I'll see you at home tonight." I stop in my tracks, look back, and shoot him a dirty look. He smirks at me. Jerk. He would say or do something stupid. He always does.
Leaning into him, I place my hand on his chest seductively. My hand slowly slides down to lightly brush his d*** as it pulsates, I say, "you know, baby, payback's a bit**."
Sometimes destiny is just too cute, "we have our first pep rally to perform. I am excited all of a sudden and start wiggling around in the bed. I would have probably kept moving if I hadn't heard a groan escape from Troy and his husky words. "Baby, careful, you are awakening the beast." That boy always has to turn something sweet into something dirty, "then he looks at me. Our eyes meet over our son's head, and as we hold each other's gaze, Troy grins. "He knows what to do with those boobs already." Way to eff up a good moment." I think I would enjoy David and Amy's story.

Where Have all the Cowboys Gone by Kate Pearce

You should never question a man's attractiveness to you he gets all pi**y, "he sat back and took a slug of coffee. "If you recall, Lauren, I was ready to jump into bed with you five seconds after you landed in my lap. Hell, what did you think you were sitting on? A baseball bat?" Grayson isn't afraid to ask for what he wants but he does it in a gentlemanly manner, "Grayson grabbed her hand and wrapped it around his shaft. "Something else would appreciate a woman's touch, if you've got the time." Lauren the girl knows how to divert a man's attentions, "Lauren caught a droplet of Grayson's sweat on her fingertip and followed it down his chest. He inhaled sharply as her nail skimmed the waistband of his jeans. "That's not playing fair," Grayson murmured. "I'm trying to have a serious conversation here." Grayson, that boy acts like a woman at times when his isn't giving him enough attention, "you are." He grabbed her elbows and toppled her over onto the bed. She squeaked when he slid his hands down from her waist and cupped her butt. "I'm beginning to think you've lost interest in me as a stud." It was morning. He was a man. He was alive. He dragged the covers out from between them and glanced down at his erection. "This guy's going to get a complex soon if you don't give him some attention." I loved reading about this cowboy and I can't wait to see what other books Kate has to offer.

Bikers and Tinsel by Bella Jewel

It was so good to see the gang again and I sure missed them. Cade and Addison I loved those two, it was great that they're still going on strong:
He grunts. "effin' clothes, so many of the effin' things. Who needs them?"
Addison leans in close. "You sure won't."
Although everyone was in the book, I focused on Muff and Janine who I was super glad FINALLY got a little book of their own, "Muff chuckles, and looks back down at me. "I'll be out front, come out when you're ready," he murmurs and then leans down to my ear. "and baby, don't wear any panties." Poor Janine the girl sometimes can't catch a break and it's amusement to Muff, "my foot is still tangled in my panties, and I kick and squirm, trying to get up, horrified that my a** is on view for the world to see. "Sweet effin' heaven angel, you just made me hard." When these two are together they sure do get into a lot of trouble, "I laugh louder, then cry out in pain as the movement causes my nose to throb. "You broke my nose...while we were effing," I pant in between laughs and cries." Yeah I enjoyed this one a little more than the others probably because everyone was in it.

Beyond Solitude by Kit Rocha

Anyone who knows me knows I tend to start in the middle of a series because that's how weird I am and this one was no different. After reading this book I realized that my a** needs to go back and read the rest of the series especially Dallas and Lex's book. Oh Derek, that boy has no shameful bone in his body, "he waved the bottle of whiskey at her. "You could start by letting me drink half of this and jerk off so I can get some sleep." I mean he just has no filter, "filing papers like there was nothing more interesting going on? Eff that. "Bullsh**." Ford tugged open the top button on his jeans. "It may be a little battered these days, like the rest of me, but my ego's not dead. If I start stroking my d*** right in front of you, you're damn sure gonna be paying attention. Not just watching." He's a bossy one as well, "must have figured out who you worked for." He finally lifted his head, only to tap his pen on the desk. "You need a new coat, too. When it warms up, we'll go to the market." And bless her damn soul Mia know what she wanted and wasn't afraid to go after it, "Derek." His grip was steel, refusing to let her sink back down, and she smacked her palms to his chest and gave him a warning taste of her nails. "I don't want easy. I want to feel you." Yeah I'm going back to get the other books in the series.

Mad about Plaid by Kam McKellar

I loved this book, there was no beating around the bush, got to the plot with no additives and I loved that. And the thoughts that Lucy had OHHH BABY! "He stepped around the desk. "Ian MacLaren." His hand caught hers in a warm embrace. Good Lord, he had to be at least six inches taller than she was, making him around six-foot-four. Could he be anymore condom worthy?" I mean the innuendos that boy gives off, "he answered slowly and deliberately. "By all means, the room is yours. We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible. I look forward to seeing to your needs personally." Lucy has no qualms in telling Ian what she wants, "you, Ian." She kissed his mouth sweetly, her lips so soft, her breath warm and intoxicating. "Naked, preferably." I can't wait to check out the other books in this series.

Risky Business by Amy Andrews

Poor Nick sometimes I wonder why the boy tries to understand the female mind, "no it's not." Nick shook his head. "Jesus, why can't women just take a damn compliment?" I mean he gets all offended over certain things, "Nick blanched. "Nice is an insult to sex. Flowers are nice. Puppies are nice. Sex should not be nice." Sometimes the boy just goes too far and it makes for one hell of a funny scene, "Sam...Jesus! If I'd have known you were going to have to wipe yourself out with vodka to use the damn thing I would have never dared you. For god's sake it's a vibrator, not a cyanide pill." The boy tries so hard to understand the life of the female, "Nick blanched. This was a period?" Bloody hell! You do this every month?" If there is one thing we take away from this book it's the fact Sam can persuade the boy to do anything:
Samantha smiled at him. "Well, come to bed and I'll let you eff me twice."
Nick's heart practically stopped in his chest. He toes off his shoes. "I love it when you talk dirty."
This book had it all humor, sex, chemistry, a sexy man, and my full attention. I need to see what other books this author has and just read them.

Asher by Jo Raven

Asher he doesn't want to admit it but he's still hard for Audrey, his body will admit it though, "oh sh**. I put both my hands, bleeding or not, over my crotch, hoping to hide evidence of the direction in which my thoughts are wandering." Audrey she's adorable when it comes to Asher's body, "I look down at his erection. It's rock hard, the head purple, and liquid drips from the small slit. It's hot. Sexy. Makes my skin burn with desire. As I watch, his co** twitched. "If you keep looking at it like that, you'll finish me," he breathes, his voice catching." This book had a slow start and well middle, and sort of the ending as well but it was a great story about coming back to the person you left behind, and about forgiving.
