Ryder is easily offended when his woman doesn't think he can take care of himself, "I scowled. “Against Brett? I’m trying not to find that insulting, because I assure you, I could kick his *** in my sleep.” I enjoyed this book, I loved Ryder the man had patience and he was funny.
