Finn's a smarta**, "a wife that sends me dildo catalogs. Damn, I've hit the jackpot." Sometimes a second chance is what you need to see what you were missing and I liked that Rissa got to learn Finn all over again, "the spoon lowers and he frowns at me. No he really looks pi**ed. 'Christ, Rissa. I'm not heartless. You employee, is her baby going to be okay?" When things were good between Rissa and Finn they were good and fun:
"I've missed you too. But I'm not sure that it makes sense to try again. A lot of time has passed. And I work for you now."
"Eff it, you're fired."
I liked this book.
