I loved how Colbie had a big heart, "...Spence broke off when he turned back around and found Colbie holding the cat. “It’s a she,” she said, hugging the poor thing. “And she’s so thin and gangly that I think she’s just a teenager.” There are times Colbie's kitty wants in on the action, “not you, the cat—” Who’d climbed back onto the bed and was sitting on his ***, kneading it like she was making muffins. “Claws,” he ground out, twisting to pick the cat up and set her back onto the floor." Spence tries to do the right thing, “you said your clothes were still wet and that you liked to be naked in my bed anyway, and then you executed a pretty great strip show, in which you only fell over twice.” I really liked this book, I loved the characters.
