The Princess Wore Plaid by Karen Hawkins

Buchan entertained me greatly, “you dinnae thank a mon for apologizing for nae being a mon.” His dark brown eyes sparkled with reluctant humor. “Although I suppose you’re allowed to show a guid deal of surprise if ’tis warranted.” I really loved him, "he brushed a kiss over her mouth, stopping her words. “I dinnae dare think of such. All I could do was tempt you to my side with books. Lots and lots of books. It was all I had.” I really enjoyed this book.
