Hard as a Rock by Christine Warren

Right off the bat we see Knox's protective instincts come up when it concerns Wynn, "she sounded upset, distressed, and some part of him urged him to rid her of the source of her anxiety." I found Know extremely humorous in one scene where he didnt know why his woman was getting upset, "Knox eyed her impassively. “You are upset.” His voice remained flat and uninflected. “Did something harm you?" There are so many reasons I love these gargoyles but the most important reason I love them is because they're willing to jump when their mates need them, "when he spoke, his voice came out as a rough purr. “What do you require, little witch?" Another job well done this is one series I always one click.
