It's in His Kiss by Jill Shalvis


Sam is really a sweetheart and I loved him, "no." He held on to her when she would have pulled away. "This isn't a rejection, Becca. I want you." He dipped down a little to look into her eyes, wanting to make sure she really got him. "I want you bad, but I'm all sweaty from my run. I need a shower, a quick one, I promise. But my shop doesn't have one, and my house is ten minutes away, so I need you to be patient while I -" Becca I admired her and I loved her, "oh, no." She waggled a finger in his face. "Don't you dare feel sorry for me. I'm a big girl, and I take care of myself. You don't want to be with me that way, I get it. We did it once, and maybe it was so awful for you that you can't bear to repeat it, maybe -" She's a bold one when her O's are concerned, "you'd better mean it," she finally said, "cause last time I ended up in my bed alone, all hot and bothered, and I had to handle my own business." Jill's books never let me down so it's always a joy to get a new book from her.
