Loving Glory by Joleen James

I guess Jace really had to grow on me from page one, I didn't like his attitude and he says all the wrong things, "to tell you the truth, I'm not sure." He frowned. "When I saw the real estate listing for the town, I couldn't help myself. For me, Fortune is unfinished business. You are unfinished business." Glory she's a great mom and she doesn't take the attitude Jace hands to her she fights back, "no," she said a bit too quickly. "I'm not willing to let you make a fool out of me by flaunting your mistress in front of the whole town. People here know Erika. They remember you dated her. How do you think that makes me feel?" Jace and Glory both have a knack for saying things (lies) that would hurt the other person, "she ignored the desire beating within her. "No, thanks. Last time you took care of my needs, I got pregnant. Wait, come to think of it, my needs were never meet. I guess you took care of your own needs." It's like they have a push/pull/shove type of relationship, and that is what made this book so entertaining to read.
