Everyone who knows me knows I'm a sucker for a man with tattoos so once I found out Mr. Ryan here had one that's all it took for me to fall in love with the man. "It's just look, mom." Repressing a sigh, Ally did her best to infuse her words with as much dryness as possible. "He's not anything special - he seems like a smartass, and his back is covered in tattoos." He's a determined little shit, once that boy's mind is made up that's it, "I know Friday night must've freaked you out. And it's nice that you read up on TBI. You're kind Ally, and that's rare. But I'm not going to stop competing. I know what I'm doing." He stirs up Ally's emotions just as much as he does mine, "Bruised and bloodied or not, the sight of Ryan stretched across the bed waiting gave her one of those jolts of sensation." Did I mention how honest he can be? "That's the thing, Ally - you're so damned nice and self-sacrificing. Sometimes it makes me feel like shit." And the boy is such a romantic, "I'd die for you."
