Evan is just so romantic, "providing well for her is one of the things I can do. So is indulging her. If she wants a fireplace, I don’t understand… but if that will help persuade her to marry me, she’ll have a da*n fireplace." Evan likes to keep his girl happy, “all right. One.” I can’t turn her down when giving in would make her happier . “But if you want me to keep these abs you seemed so fond of licking last night, you can’t feed me empty calories.” I liked this book, I fell in love with Evan.
