Rafe can be a sort of gentleman if for purely selfish reasons, “I like that, too.” Now he grabs my hips and tugs me close, encircling my waist with his strong arms. “Except the part where you got a hotel room. If you’re in town to see me, you should be staying with me.” Rafe is into compromise, “when you get done lusting after the books here, what do you say we go to another bookstore? One where you can actually buy and read the books without owing me a week’s worth of sexual favors?” I wasn't expecting that plot when I read the book, I thought it would be a typical baby daddy and baby mama making it work, but there was more to it than that.
