Mateo tends to put his foot in his mouth, "great. Now he’d offended her. “No. It’s not that. The room is nice.” Mateo likes to try and tempt his woman, "...he whispered in her ear. “And tell them you’re sick. I promise we’ll have fun.” Mateo is willing to go that extra mile for his woman, “it’s the only shirt I own that has to be ironed.” He undid the top button. “I’d be happy to take it off for you.” I liked this book, Everly stood on her own feet and was sassy and gave Mateo a run for his money.
