Beau doesn't like others around when he's trying to woo his lady, “get out.” Beau’s tone leaves no room for arguments." Lauren is just so awkward, and just surprises Beau at every turn:
“I think it’s only fair that you should know I’m currently wearing lingerie, like really, really revealing lingerie. Earlier, it seemed appropriate. Now, it just feels sleazy.”
The house is silent. His Adam’s apple bobs when he swallows. “You’re wearing lingerie?”
I really liked this book, it was a light-hearted read, and Beau was so lovable.
