I loved that Kieran was sarcastic with Gabby, “out of what ? A bagel? You’re right. That would be awful.” I left her scowling after me as I crawled out of bed. “Get in the shower. I’ll get you something to take.” Gabby is so carefree whe with Kieran, "I pretended to consider it. “Well, if that’s the only way I can get you to put pants on...” I scooted away before he could smack my bottom, and laughed when he swung and missed." I liked this book, Kieran was seriously protective.
