Royce is such a smartarse, "goddarn, I love when she sasses me. “The only one I want on my jungle gym keeps avoiding me.” Royce sometimes just eagerly needs his woman, and doesn't care whose in his way, "I carry her through the crowd, and her mouth goes to my neck, licking and sucking on me. “Get out of my way,” I growl at people who are blocking us. When I get to the bathroom, I kick it closed and shoot the bolt." I loved this quick little read, Royce was one alpha man.
