It's a battle of the wills between Carson and Ella at times Carson one ups Ella, and then there are those times when Ella gets a one up on Carson, “if you wanted a rise out of me”—he drags in a deep breath and glances down to his crotch—“you’ve got it.” Carson will always give his girl what she needs, "slowly, he releases me and nods. “All right, sweetheart. Because I need you, too. But we’re talking afterward.” I really liked this book, I loved reading about Carson and Ella.
