Nick is so dang bossy, “I’ve had my share of one night women, Faith,” I say, voicing what I’ve only just concluded myself. “You aren’t one of them.” I firm my voice. “I’m not leaving. You need my help, and you’re going to take my help.” There were times Nick had restraint, “it’s self-serving,” I say, leaning in to brush my lips over hers. “I want a beautiful artist in my bed and if we don’t go right now, I might rip this dress, too.” I turn her toward the door." I liked this book, and can't wait for more Nick.
