Artan sure gives his wife some good advice, “who the hell wants a lady in the bedchamber? I want my wife.” When Artan needs advice and help he doesn't hesitate to ask for it especially when it comes to his wife, “I married her and I bedded her. With vigor. That should be enough to tell a lass I like her.” There are times Artan just doesn't understand why his wife says what she says, “sorry? For what? Making your mon so satisfied he will probably need a good hour ere he can even walk?” I really loved this book.
