Noah is good at calming his girl down, “do not look down again. Keep your head high.” I nod. “We have to keep moving, baby.” Even in his subconscious Noah is protective of his girl, "...Noah jerks in my grip. Then his big arms close around me, consuming me, keeping me safe. .." I surprisingly liked this book, I did have my doubts about it but I really enjoyed it and I liked that going through a big ordeal brought Lara and Noah closer together.
