Gunnar's attitude is a bit rough around the edges, "Gunnar let out an annoyed snort. “Stubborn female,” he ground out from between clenched teeth. “I’m trying to protect you. Not kill you.” Chelle knows how to calm her man down, "...she put her mouth to theirs in a heated kiss that banished all thoughts of violence from their mind..." Gunnar is so blunt, “we can continue to argue while we eff if that’s what you want, Chelle, but personally, I could do without it.” I really liked this book, the characters and the story hooked me from page one.
