I loved the feisty and sassy side of Caro, "she sat taller in the saddle, spine perfectly straight. “When hell freezes and the devil dons a pair of ice skates.” The reactions Caro gets out of Adrian, "he choked on his wine, coughing and spluttering for a good minute before he collected himself. “What do you know of orgies?” I loved this book, Caro beat to her own drum.
