With book one leaving us in a cliffhanger we finally get to see the conclusion of Charles and Annie's story, to me it started off slow but once they were face to face things got cooking. Charles still has his issues but that's what makes him unique and I liked him for that, "he chuckles. “You’re sure you don’t prefer flowers and chocolate? That would be a lot easier.” I'm glad to see that Annie never gave up on Charles.
