I think Patrick is sometimes in awe about how kind his woman is, "oh my effing god. He smiled into her hair. “Thank you, sweetheart. That was nice of you. Now go to sleep.” I found it adorable that Ari had Patrick wrapped around her finger, "she dragged him to the grocery store. “It’s been a while since I cooked a good meal,” she explained. “I miss it.” Who was he to get in the way of that? Besides, she was really effing cute as she inspected the tomatoes and bullied the fish guy into giving her the best salmon filets." I really liked this book, loved Patrick.
