I loved that Valek was a protective man, "Valek hated seeing Yelena hurt. A helpless frustration boiled up his throat, and the desire to murder the person who’d harmed her pulsed with every heartbeat." I really loved the sweet side of Valek, “your turn, love,” Valek said. “Why does your touch block my magic? Not that I’m complaining. In fact, I love your touch even more now.” I enjoyed this book I love Valek and Yelena I can't wait for the next installment.
