It's totally obvious Kennedy and Brent have a stellar relationship:
“What’d you do to your face?” she asks, folding her arms.
I touch my chin. “I grew a beard.”
“Well ungrow it. It looks like a va***a from a 1970s porn film.”
I'm thinking Kennedy is a private person, "then I give him the real explanation. “I’ve been busy— a lot of sex has been happening.” Kennedy pinches my chest— and it effing hurts." I loved this book, the books in this series are always good I can't wait for more.
