Axel is a boob at times, but what he doesn't know his hawk tattoo does and to me that was really interesting, (yes it doesn't make sense but you need to read the book and it will), "Darcy turned away from him, staring at the tapestry. “You’re just like all the rest. You’re afraid of me. Maybe you don’t want to be, maybe you’re fighting it. But you are. You’re like my adoptive father, the men I dated.” She stopped talking and wrapped her arms around herself . “I was an idiot to sleep with you, to trust you.” His hawk shuffled and fought to get to her , as if trying to break from his skin." I really liked this book. Axel was sexy and ba**** and Darcy could hold her own.
