I was really concerned about a cliffhanger, but I'm happy to report it's a stand alone novel and each book in this series will be about a different couple which I'm thrilled for every character I met except a slight few I loved. I loved the playful side of Quinn when he was with his woman, "his laugh was quiet and warming, but his tone husky as he breathed against the length of her neck. “I’d love to show you the other things I’ve had centuries to learn how to do." I was amused when Quinn got mad I'm not sure why I just was, "his head lifted and his lip curled. “I am controlling my temper, woman. Do not push me right now." I loved this book and I can't wait for more from this series.
