Delayed Penalty by Sophia Henry
Auden doesn't throw a fit when she's mad...noooo...the girl gets even, "instead of translating, I said, “Answer the effing question or I will kick you in the balls. Then you’ll have no way to eff her or anyone else tonight." Aleksandr has a tender sweet side, "I am sitting in this very nice establishment having dinner and I realized I did not call you and wish you a merry day. I do not celebrate this day, but I know you do, so I am calling you." He sure has a romantic side, "when I eff you, it’ll be special. Like on the ice or the bar at my place." He also has an appreciative side, "that’s some way to wake a man up, Audushka.” Aleksandr rolled off me, easing himself out slowly." I really enjoyed this book and the many interesting, and sometimes confusing layers of Aleksandr.
