Dearest Rogue by Elizabeth Hoyt

I really liked this book I enjoyed James, "though it isn’t any of your concern, my lady,” he said, his voice so low it sounded like a growl, “and it’s quite improper to be having this discussion at all, yes, I have… courted females before." James his quite protective of his woman, "they treated me quite well, considering,” Phoebe hastened to assure him. “They hardly spoke at all, of course, but there was no hint of, er… impolite touching.” She tilted her head and listened. Something seemed to be vibrating in Captain Trevillion’s throat. Good Lord! Was he growling?" Phones is a curious little thing, "you’ve got chest hair!” she exclaimed, as if discovering he had wings. “How very strange that must be. Does it get tangled in your shirts?" I loved Phoebe she was sweet and perfect for James.
