Max can be a tad bit testy, "a muscle twitched in his jaw. “I’ve lost a limb, no’ turned into a junkie." I liked when Cara and Max were together it was entertaining especially one scene:
"I’m sorry. I don’t normally ogle men’s…” She made a vague gesture at his crotch.
Max’s brows shot to his hairline. “You were staring at my groin?"
Max can be a handsy guy, "he cupped her arse and gave it a squeeze. “It’s all I can think about when I’m near you." I enjoyed this book I really liked it.
