Ethan's reaction to Mia's sass is not a normal one, the boy obviously gets turned on easily, "such an obvious lack of control thrills me. Effing thrills me to the head of my rock-hard d***. "I'd be damn foolish to own a gun if I didn't know how to shoot it." He knows how to stake his claim, "Mia, this is Ace." Ethan slips his fingers over my shoulder, his grip firm. Protecting me? Claiming me? "She's new here. And she's mine, so move on." Mia has a temper on her, "you have got to be kidding me." I fold my arms over my chest and stand my ground. I've had about enough of men telling me what to do. "Last I heard, you dismissed me, so I'm not going anywhere with you on that death trap." Ethan just likes to get his woman riled, "there's nothing wrong with me, baby. I work just fine. Firing on all cylinders last time I checked." I enjoyed this book.
