Summer's Knight by Virginia Brown

Jamie he tries with his girl but at times she's just not having it, "his mouth curled in a smile. “Do you, lass?” Cupping her chin in his palm, he leaned forward to brush his lips across hers. She didn’t resist, but she didn’t participate. He drew back and sighed." Jamie wants to teach his woman how to please him and the girl is eager to learn, "finally he could bear no more and put his palm over her hand. He tried for humor. “Now that you’ve tamed the dragon,” he said lightly, “shall I show you how to put him through his paces." Summer has a little jealous streak that I don't think Jamie realized she had, "dressed like that, my lord— or should I say undressed —are you certain you have captured the right prey? Lady Elgin must be wondering where you are." The more Summer is with her man the more bold she becomes, "when she stroked her hand up and down his body, he grabbed it. “Ah, lass. Keep that up, and Tidwell is certain to get a shock." I enjoyed this book so much I really loved Jamie.
