Pocketful of Sand by M. Leighton

There were a few scenes in this book that were really emotional and graphic and I'm not just talking about the sex scenes I'm talking well abuse-wise it was a good story I loved Cole and I loved how Eden and him came together even when both of them are broken and helped each other heal. Cole he doesn't want to care, he just wants to grieve but Eden's little girl makes him see a different perspective, and he starts to care, "you don't have to use it to call me. I just wanted you to have it in case emergency. The winters here are-" A drunk Cole is a more open about his feelings Cole, "he raises his head and pins me with a potent stare. "You. You're what's wrong. I can't stop thinking about you." I liked when Eden and him were at ease those were my favorite scenes:
I try to curb my enthusiasm. "What's with the apron?" I ask, taking the proffered plate.
"Didn't want my junk splattered with hot grease. Can you blame me?"
(Yes ladies he cooks naked). I enjoyed this book there were a few characters that creeped me out like Jason and then one I truly hated but overall I liked the book.
