This is a YA book so for all of you who want to read this and think there's naughty bits you're safe there isn't any. What the book does contain though is tons of humor. Max I loved him right off, "Ms. Lane, you either backed into town property or you didn't. Which is it?" Kasey she's an interesting character she just has no luck what so ever but that changes when she meets Jenna and her gang and I loved the tightness the group contains around each other, "I dipped my pizza crust into ranch dressing as they all looked at me funny. I wasn't going to defend myself. It was good and that's all the excuse I needed." At times I don't think Max and Kasey really understand each other and they bottle in what they're thinking until it's too late, "I don't need this. I don't need to be responsible for someone I'm not even responsible for. You aren't my fiancee or girlfriend. You're just this girl who can't manage to stay out of trouble and the truth is, that's your problem." Of course once the boy gets his act together he tends to be bossy, "Tuesday, I'm coming to get you for breakfast. You're going to wait in your apartment and ask me who I am when I knock on the door and then you're going to hold my hand as we walk to The Brew where I'll buy you a muffin." This book was such a great read.
