A Highlander's Heart by Jennifer Haymore

Rob I understand where his attitude comes from but did he really need to be that big of an a**? "Is there no other bed?" he asked harshly. She flinched. Bloody hell. He was such an a**." I think it amazes him what his wife did, "you crossed an ocean and risked a bloody battle to apologize for a few words spoken in anger a year ago?" Rob there's so much passion him that he forgets where he is when his girl is with him, "nay. For touching ye like a goddamn boor out in the open. Where people could see us. For forgetting you're a lady." He has so much passion it's hot, "he dragged his gaze back up to her face. "I...er...It's been a verra long time, Claire. My injury's mostly healed...and if we go to bed together tonight..." He pulled in a deep breath. "Lying with you...I'm no' sure I'll be able to control myself." I liked this book I enjoyed reading it.
