After reading Inez's other book "The Bas****" I knew that she would be an author who I'd always want to read her books, although I'm starting this series in book three each book can be read as a stand alone and that happens to be my favorite type of series, no cliffhangers, no wondering what's going to happen, but we get an ending. Webb he's trying to do what's right in the situation he's put in but I didn't like the comments he made about it, it's like he's mad that he's in this situation, "Webb shook his head. "I was drunk. I let my d*** do the thinking for me and screwed up. Now I pay for it in diamonds and gold." If Webb thought he was getting this frazzled little woman for a wife he was wrong, Molly has a voice and isn't afraid to speak her feelings, "do you even care, Webb?" The frustration that had simmered all night reached a boil and she let it erupt. "Unless this baby comes out carrying a stack of red oak, do you even give a s***?" After our boy worked out his issues and got his foot out of his a** he was a better man. I really enjoyed reading this book and I'll probably go back and read the other two books in the series.
