I loved the balls Zack had, he didn't follow anyone's expectations, "let's ask Autumn what she wants." Zack shifted to me. "Are you enjoying this interaction with Daniel?" I also loved the weirdness that came with Zack, "he took a bite of the bread, then returned it to the small plate. Inhaling slowly, he lifted his chin and sniffed the air. He repeated the act two more times. I struggled to keep my voice level. "You're smelling me again, Zack." He's one of those guys that will let the girl down gently, "it was late," Zack continued. "I was groggy. You were wearing so little and you made me forget. But I can't forget again. You're a nice girl, Autumn, but with my mom's situation and work and school and the scouts, there's nothing left of me. You deserve better than that." I don't think those were the only reasons he was letting her down, but hey to each his own. This is a Romeo and Juliet type of love, and I loved reading it. Although it's a first in the series the characters end in a good place and there's no cliffhanger.
