I had been eyeing this book for awhile trying to make up my mind if I wanted to read it, (lately I've been really picky on what I read in the paranormal world) but surprisingly I found I enjoyed reading it. Noah he's the type of boy that states what's on his mind, and I don't think he means to be mean but at times it comes out that way, "you don't believe in healthy eating, do you?" he asked, but when her smile faltered, he regretted the words. "I'm not saying you need to," he found himself clarifying, "you're in great shape." I love reading about leading ladies who come off sweet but pi** them off and they'll gut you, "you have no right. Not like you're an expert on relationships. I don't think I've ever seen a woman around your place for more than a single night. Not once in five years." I also found that Noah having (or trying to have) a sense of humor didn't really work well for him, "a feral grin blossomed on his face. "Don't worry, Miss Shepard, if I tied you down I'd be sure to untie you in the morning." I loved how possessive he could be, that has to be one of my favorite traits in the lead male, "Noah huddled into her neck. He held her so tightly it was as if he feared she would go running from the room if he let her go. Her hands were tangled in his hair. There had never been such a perfect moment. "If you let me go, I promise I won't run away," she said, amused despite the awe-inspiring thing that had just happened." I can't wait to get reading the next book in the series.
