Dark Refuge by Kate Douglas

I loved Gabe, "he grinned and held his cup to his lips. "We could always go back to bed. You. Me. Warm, rumpled sheets. Warmer bodies." He dropped the leer and set his cup on the table. "And no, Em. I'm not teasing and I'm not kidding. You really are beautiful, and looking like this, all tousled and sleepy, you're too damned hot for me to ignore. Besides, it's a big bed. I was lonely last night. I don't like to sleep alone." I also loved Em that girl is just really caring, "she touched his chest, brought her hand away covered in flakes of dried blood as well as flesh. "Gabe? You're still bleeding. Good Goddess, Gabe. What happened to you? Did I do this? Oh, Gabe...you're a mess. Something must have gone a lot more than just a little bit wrong." The way Gabe handles Em with care and so much love was absolutely adorable, "he sprawled across her, laughing softly. "I feel like melted wax, but damn, Em. You feel good." He nuzzled her tangled hair and planted a gentle kiss on her cheek." I loved reading this book anything to do with shapeshifters and the paranormal catches my attention and add a whole lot of romance it's a perfect mix for me.
