I loved where Dylan's thoughts were half the time, "he wouldn't rush her. It wasn't his way. If it worked, it worked. If it didn't, it didn't. But he was a man who went after what he wanted, and he wanted Lane Bishop in his bed." I loved how patient he was, "you can have all the time you want. I won't push you. But when I see the same heat in your eyes I know you see in mine, don't expect me not to act on it." He makes the most delicious promises, "he caught her chin, tilted it up so she was staring into his face. "Come to bed with me and I promise you'll sleep like a baby." Lane that girl has a fiery temper on her, "that's not what happened. And the next time you decide to have one of your ex-girlfriends psychoanalyze me - don't." Sometimes Dylan makes fun of Lane without meaning to, "he couldn't stop a smile. "I sure did." He reached her, pulled her into his arms, took the stick, and tossed it away. "You were great, baby. I think ol' bear was more afraid of you than you were of him." What an adventure this book was.
