Sex & the Single Vamp by Robin Covington

Oh Declan, that boy isn't one to mince words around, "meaning we've danced around the issue of 'us' for about two hundred years too long. While we work together, I want us to explore each other. Up close and personal. In bed. That would be more than adequate payment." I mean he lays it out there for Cici, "I'll help you. Free of charge. But I'll probably be an a**hole." He shrugged. "Blue balls make me cranky." His thoughts are literally consumed with Cici, "he needed to eff her, to bury himself in her body and take care of this once and for all. She'd excited the vampire in him and nothing less than taking her would sate the beast." He doesn't apologize for being who he is and I loved that about him, "Cici gave a little gasp and settled in closer, wiggling to torture him. "Sorry, it's nature. Hot woman with an amazing a** rubbing all over me. My di** has a mind of it's own." He also knows the right things to say a certain times, "I know." His sleepy reply didn't match the decisive way he tightened his grip on her, pressing a kiss to the nape of her neck. "We can't change the past. You're in my bed. That's all I want to focus on right now."
