I really enjoyed this book more than the first one because it focused on one sister and there was one point of view to follow, and for some strange reason I like that although, there is one point of view I really wish we could have and that is Kaydon, I really love him and I want to see more of him. Kaydon, he's so loyal, "sensing her slow, Kaydon moved closer. After saving her life atop of the walls, he never strayed far from her." I think Kaydon is teaching Cyena some things, "betray is a strong word." He rose, agitated. "I saw how your kind treated you. Open your eyes, Cyena. This life is better than the one you lived." There's feelings starting to develop between Kaydon and Cyena and Kaydon has the balls to admit it, "I couldn't let him have you," he replied at last. "That's the truth of it." And he gets to showing her he means business, "you are s ostubborn," Kaydon growled. He gripped her chin again lightly. He kissed her." I can't wait to see what comes next for this series.
