I'm really getting back into my historical romances and I'm finding I kinda want to live in that era, times were so simple back then. Alasdair that boy seriously is blunt, "if you're done eyeing me like a cut of meat, Mary, perhaps you could tell me more about why we have found each other this evening?" He doesn't want to admit it, but the boy is falling for his wife's charms, "I ate worse in the army," he admitted. He was lifting his own fork up when he noticed her reaction to the food: She closed her mouth, chewed, and smiled, her eyes closed in pleasure. Then she darted her small, pink tongue out and licked her lips. It was the most erotic thing he'd ever seen. He cleared his throat." That's not all the charms the boy is falling for, "he ran his hand over her buttocks, slipping it between the crevice of her cheeks and grasping their fullness. "You have quite an arse, Mary," he said in a strained voice." I really loved how the story flowed, and I got caught up in the romance that is Alasdair and Mary.
