A Place to Land by Mary Vine

Jackson you can't help but fall in love with him, he's caring, "Jackson grabbed her arm when she turned to leave and Wolf growled. "At ease, Wolf. Where are you going? Don't tell me you're going to clear into town in the dark." He's a typical man and enjoys a woman's endowments especially Uli's, "Jackson admired Uli's rear as he followed her to the four-wheeler. Not only did he admire her bottom, but also how she talked to Johnny." Uli takes a little while to get comfortable around Jackson but once she is all bets are off, "since they'd kissed, Uli felt free to touch him and put her hands around his taunt stomach. Occasionally, she rested the side of her face between his shoulders." Jackson may be sweet and caring but honestly I think Uli takes him by surprise and he's not sure what to say or how to handle her so he comes off as a bit of an a** especially after they do the naughty, "Jackson kissed her forehead. "Next time we'll go slower." He was pulling on his jeans when he heard torrent of Russian. Uli didn't sound happy and the only word he recognized was 'God.'" But the same goes for Uli, her actions sometimes speak louder than words, "Jackson took a moment to process her words and body language. He'd clearly insulted her but he wasn't exactly sure how. If anything, she insulted him by not returning his interest in her. The last four-wheel ride they'd taken, she had her hands all over him, but not so today." Through events and everything Jackson has it deep for this girl, "Jackson took her hand and moved her from the center of the room. "I'm going home," he said. "Come home with me. Let's go dance in the moonlight." I really did enjoy reading this book.
